There neednt necessarily be a co relation between religion and politics especially if you live in a society which has divorced both through centuries of war, blood and sweat. Study history.

If you live in a society where this has not been done, then there remains a co relation.

Now, speaking more specifically to the point - whilst that co relation may or may not exist, there will always be a co relation between one's past deeds and one's future fortunes.

End of.

Dude, is it you belief or there is a written rule on it? If it's the later, please show evidence.

Airforce1:
Sometimes, the sins we commited today comes back to hurt us tomorow.

In 2017, their was news of ambode's wife slapping a priest because he didn't give her a preferential treatment during communion session.
The manner in which Governor Ambode handled the situation could be the reason why he would never come back for second term as governor of Lagos state .

Our God is a patient God , he gives enough room for sinners to retrace their steps from sin, and failure to do so would lead to punishment .

Governor ambode instead of apologising to the man of God whom his wife slapped for not giving her a preferential treatment as the wife of the governor , he decided to sack the chaplain, throw his family and properties out of their place of residence .

Did Ex governor Ikedi Ohakim flogging of parish priest in Imo state cross your mind?

Ikedi Ohakim will never ever be a second term governor in Imo state till this world comes to an end , even afte
r he has apologized for his shameful actions .

same fate is about to play out on Governor Ambode's political career if he doesn't retrace his steps because disrespecting a man of God is a disrespect to God almighty .

This is why we don't make progress as humans and as a country in whole? What is the correlation between religion and politics?

“We arrested the two after a tip-off and we discovered that after the operation to flush out drug traffickers in Area 47 started, the two chose to leave their homes and started dwelling in lodges,” said Nyaude.

The North Central geopolitical zone comprises 6 States and Federal Capital Territory as follows:
Kogi, Niger, Benue, Kwara, Plateau, Nassarawa and the Federal Capital Territory.

In my opinion, it is hard to award the best Governor in this zone but the worst is very easy to identify.

I award the best performing Governor/Minster to Mohammed Bello of FCT, if not for anything but maintaining the sanity of the Territory, while I award the worst performing Governor and a shame to the youth is Kogi State Governor, YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO.

What do you think
FCT? You must be joking. After EL-Rufai Abuja gradually started loosing it. The present FCT minister is the worst so far. No new road, even maintaining the streets light is a big deal now.

E-MONEY, CEO OF 5-STAR MUSIC SOURCE OF WEALTH CLARIFIED

Over the years, there have been a whole lot of controversies on how the chief executive officer of five-star music makes his money (I mean so much money), some even believe he is into some form of illegal business because of his really flamboyant lifestyle.

Someone was told me that even Dangote that is worth $20 billion does not spend as much as Sir E-money, that really got me thinking and I decided to do a research about him to know how he does it and I came to this conclusion, but first let me write some of his C.V.

ACTUAL NAME: Emeka Okonkwo

AGE: He was born on the 18th of February, 1981 (currently 37 Years Old) in Ajegunle, Lagos State, Nigeria.

FAMILY: Juliet Okonkwo (Wife), Three children, KCEE (Elder Brother).

NET WORTH: For now, he is estimated to be worth about $10 million (N3.61 Billion).

e

Now since we have seen a little about him, let us go into the full details of how his money started.

Most of us know of his flamboyant lifestyle, but not many knows how he actually started. He wasn’t really born with a silver spoon, his journey started with just a single contract which changed his whole Ajegunle story around.

There is an adage that goes that “with every successful man, there is always a good woman beside him” and E-money’s wasn’t an exception. According to him, it was on his way back from his traditional wedding that he received a phone call that he was awarded a contract of $2 million, you can imagine what that can do to a man’s life right? He claimed that his wife Juliet was the first girlfriend he ever got in 2003, she was God-fearing and loved him so much and he decided to stay very committed and faithful in the relationship with Juliet. He claimed that there was a time she came over to see him in Ajegunle and she fell into the gutter.

His wife Juliet also said that her friends usually mocked her then that she was supposed to be moving out with the Lekki rich guys but she chose to move with a poor guy in Ajegunle, but according to her, she was not bothered. She said at that point in time oga Emeka Emoney didn’t even have enough money to move both of them to Lagos, that it was his Elder brother KCEE that borrowed them N20,000 as their transport fare down to Lagos.

COMPANIES OWNED BY E-MONEY

- Five Star Music (2015)
- Emmy Cargoes Limited
- He is also into Oil and Gas
- He also has chains of Businesses outside of Nigeria too

BELONGINGS

- He owns a state of Art mansion worth about N250 MILLION
- He owns a fleet of cars which includes Mercedes Benz Sprinter that costs about N30 million, he bought a G-Wagon for his brother KCEE also which costs N20 million as a birthday gift, he also has a Lexus LX 570 (armored car) which costs N39 million

Presently his wife and kids is based in London while he goes every two weeks to stay with them and have their family time together

This event occurred earlier today at a building on Engineering Close, off Idowu Taylor street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The inferno was reported to have been caused by some individuals who resorted to refueling a power generator directly from a fuel tanker while the generator was still on.

Thankfully, there was no case of human casualty.

Indeed, this young hero deserves some accolades.

Properties / Re: FG Pushes For Lower Cement Price, Adoption Of Concrete Roads by pokipoki: 7:57am On Jul 18, 2018
edunwablog:

The Federal Government has called on cement manufacturers to consider reducing the price of the commodity in order to improve local consumption for various infrastructural projects, even as they continue to build their export capacity.

Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, argued that cement price can be cheaper if per capita consumption increases through adoption of concrete roads and collaboration among local producers.

Osinbajo, during the inauguration of BUA Cement plant in Sokoto, on Tuesday, said: “Currently, Nigeria produces over 40 million tonnes of cement annually. Nigeria produces more cement than any other country in Africa. Indeed, when put together, several other countries still cannot produce as much cement.

“Nigeria’s huge market size of high urbanisation rate of 3.5 per cent, and even now, a low per capita cement consumption of about 125kg, and an estimated housing deficit of 17 million are key drivers for the growth of the Nigerian cement industry in the medium term.

“We have plenty of capacity to consume cement locally. As mentioned earlier, two issues require urgent attention. The first is the price of cement, it surely can be cheaper.

I know the standard arguments such as power, transportation, and other challenges, but it is still a lucrative business, and I know the reduction of price is possible between the major players.

“The second issue is concrete roads. We can change the narrative on road construction dramatically if we think through using concrete buildings in Nigeria,” he added.

Meanwhile, BUA Group has announced plans to commence exportation of cement with its recently inaugurated 1.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) cement plant in Sokoto to neighbouring countries, while also meeting local demand for the commodity.

With the inauguration of the Sokoto Plant, and completion of the expanded plant in Okpella, Edo State, the Group’s installed capacity is expected to hit 8MMT by the end of 2018.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, said the ultra modern cement plant holds a significant promise for the local market, and has huge export potential to earn foreign exchange for the country.

Rabiu said: “In the event that we choose to export, the Forex savings and potential forex this could generate for the country is huge.

We are in a prime position to actually deliver the entire demand here within the North-West, which is our catchment area, and also export; even though at BUA, we have made it a policy to cater first to our home market before we export.”

Meanwhile, the Chairman also said the second line of its $1billion Obu Cement Complex in Okpella, Edo State inaugurated in August 2017, would be completed this year end. He said BUA Cement investment in Edo remains the single largest private-led investment in the entire South-South region of Nigeria, outside the oil and gas industry.

He continued: “By the time that plant is completed by the end of the year – together with what we have here, BUA Cement’s total production volumes will be in excess of eight million tonnes, and that would give us over 35 per cent of the entire volumes produced in Nigeria.”

The Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, urged investors to exploit opportunities in the State through the huge deposit of natural resources, adding that the State has developed a blue print on the ease of doing business to encourage investors and protect their investments.

http://www.akelicious.net/2018/07/fg-pushes-for-lower-cement-price.html
If the government is really sincere, they will provide cheap electricity to the country. This will go a long way in reducing cost of cement. Talk is very cheap!!!

I am supposed to say RIP, but i find it funny though.
These daddies should retire and leave politics for us the youth. Education is the key, after we graduate with the key, them carry door comot. And kept on calling us lazy people.
In a sane society, a man of his age should be among senior citizens being catered for by federal govt. But in my Nigeria it is otherwise.
Do you know how old Donald Trump is? It's not a matter of age!!!

My problem is mostly our government's total unwillingness to act up. Why are Mtn and shoprite not sanctioned for their unending infractions?

Why is Dstv left to operate with a monopoly unrivalled by any Nigerian firm or operating services?

Why is the Nigerian government refusing to indigenise the south African companies and block their unhindered foreign exchange repartriation back to their country?

I blame Nigeria's soft stance towards this issue? If even at home, the Government doesn't regard the sanctity of human life, how then can they protect it overseas?

Buhari You have failed. By now a normal government supposed to withdraw embassy and issue international threats of equal violent reactions.
Dude, in as much as we all condemn xenophobic attacks and killings, but do you have the slightest idea of the remote and present issues leading to the killings before you blame the government and call for sanctions on private firms? Do you know if the killings are drug or cult related ? Are you not aware of the high numbers of cultist- , Viking, Eiye cultist in South Africa?
Why is it that is mainly the ibo people that are targeted? Are there no yourbas, Hausa, Bini or Tiv people in South Africa?
Are the killings battle of supremacy between Nigerian and South African gangs? Do you have a clue if killing is related to the Ozobulu massacre in Nigeria.? This are the little questions that one should ask before blaming the government directly. Thank you
