Kobojunkie: That verse is taken from a song sung by Moses and the people of Israel regarding their God, YHWH, all of this in connection to God's Old Law of Moses — God's Will and Plan for the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan. The same God is written to have not only destroyed the people of Israel by way of His curse - Deuteronomy 28 vs 15 - 44-- about 2600 years ago - Hosea Chapters 1 - 14. God is also written to have done the same to the Nation of Judah, Israel's Sister nation, about 1900 years ago. Everything written in Deuteronomy 28 vs 15- to the end came to pass. Jesus Christ prophesied of this in His Gospels. At that time, God also proclaimed that a seal would be put on Prophets and visions - Daniel 9 vs 24 - 26 & Joel 2 vs 28 - 33 & Matthew 24 vs 1 - 25 & 13 vs 1 - 23 & Luke 21 vs 5 - 24 - the last days of God's Old Law and the destruction of Jerusalem.
The ramification of all that happened is that no more prophets were sent to the people after the end and no more visions given from God to men by way of His Old Law promise. Everything became as specified in His Law, Jesus Christ. So, I guess my questions to you would be as follows: ■ Why do you quote from God's Old Law of Moses when you claim to believe God's new plan, Jesus Christ, is what is instead in session? ■ Am I to take it instead that Jesus Christ, the one who promised that judgment and hence punishment, will only happen after He returns again is instead out there parading as this God of war you perceive plays a role to this day? ■ Surely, you cannot believe that God is duplicitous, can you? You totally miss the point. Why was He called "man"? |

I understand if Muslims stick to ignorance despite truth staring them in the face. If they accept the truth, Islam dies. But for atheist, I don't get it. This maynman disturbing u with chrestian theory, I remember bruising her really bad she almost cried with the nonsense chrestian claim.

Maynmann: Hope you know the difference between translation and transliteration?
So spanish pronouce janitor as hanitor?show me where you saw it. Also we are not talking about pronunciation here but translation into another language.
The New Testament you are basing your life on belongs to Chrestians. From Codex Sinaiticus, we learn that all previous manuscripts that became included in the Modern New Testament are not “Christian”, but Chrestian; we can see how monks much later scratched the Greek H (E) used in Chrest to become the I of Christ.
Religion thrives on ignorance. My friend point is Lord Jesus was never called any of those names so technically they are not his names. But we know who we are talking about - that's what counts. So regale us: why were the Romans persecuting "Chrestians". And Paul's letter to the church in Rome, was it written to Chrestians? And Paul himself, was he a "Chrestian"? |

They make bogus claim they can't defend or produce evidence for. One came here and claimed Isaac Newton was an atheist. When I disproved it and showed he was actually a Christian, he turned around and said he was a secret atheist bit couldn't prove it. Some will start arguing the bible they know nothing about. They just like throwing around big big meaningless arguments that lacks substance. Funny thing is, if you observe them well, it'll slowly dawn on you: Atheism is a religion! |

If your savior was a jewish man he would have been named like any jew boy, “yeshua” is a very common hebrew name. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeshua Ok, what is Lalasticlala in Yoruba. Kobojunkie: 1. Again, you are wrong! Jesus Christ said the Word of God is everlasting meaning the antichrist--- and his gang-- had no power to change His Truth, to begin with. The antichrist is able to spew all the lies he needs to manipulate the gullible but try as he may, He is unable to put his own words into the mouth of God and of Jesus Christ.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not a simpleton that you would assume He works alongside the plans of men. No, He is instead a God whose plan rides above everything men czn think of or throw. How about this below

Kobojunkie: 1. God, who said it would happen as it did in the book of Daniel, is where He has always been, watching it all play out according to how He said it would play out in His plan .... the time of the false prophets and false teachers. God does not back evil. He allows it to run its course does not mean God backs it.
By the way, God's WIll actually refers to God's Law, and it is in His Will that He revealed a lot of what would take place, even now.
2. I am afraid you are the one making the many assumptions here, particularly thinking that Jesus Christ has some sort of reason to fight that which He said would happen to His followers. No, Jesus Christ told those of His time that they would suffer as he did, but only those of them who stand faithful till the end would be saved. That is exactly what happened to them. How you think that somehow makes Jesus Christ powerless is beyond me.
Even after the movement was hijacked by the false prophets and false teachers, Jesus Christ's Word has remained the same— unchanging and unwavering, even with the many lies told by the antichrists— that is to tell you that the power of Jesus Christ is not diminished by the presence of the religions out there that claim some sort of connection to Him —not in any way. Wow, wow, wow!! Talk about someone being totally messed up. So let's get this straight: false prophets and Antichrist took over the movement but they carefully left the words intact and unchanged so that you'll come along and read it and know they are false teachers! Wow! I'm done. Nice chatting witcha |

Maynmann: If he spoke aramaic, he would have been called isho, no wonder it is “isa” in quran.
If isho was alive he would have been a judaist. “Christianity” is a greek word, so when did “Christianity” went to rome? New testament was written in Rome language, the mother of all churches in in Rome. Maynmann: You should know that New Testament was written in Greek. And the Transliteration of Yeshua in Greek is lesous, in latin it is iesus, the early church fathers had to replace i with j to give “jesus”. Jesus is a latin name of yeshua. The correct Translation of Yeshua is Joshua. My brother stop confusing yourself. Proper names have neither translation nor transliteration, except to spell out the meaning of the name in another language. Corruption of the spelling or the pronunciation of a proper name doesn't make that transliteration of the name. Lord Jesus had a name he was given at birth that came with the proper spelling and proper pronunciation, which you can't change to anything else, no matter what language you happen to be speaking! |

Kobojunkie: 1. The answer to your question is quite obvious...after he had eliminated the many true followers of Jesus Christ, he then stopped the persecutions in order to set up his antichrist religion--- and empire of sorts-- in its place with which he could then rule over the movement with.
2. Problem is a huge majority of those who claim to be of Jesus Christ happen to profess majorly that which is antichrist in all manner. Your many powerful messages that violate the core teachings of Jesus Christ, cannot be of Jesus Christ since Truth does not contain contradictions. So do we accept that all those obvious contradictions are equally of God meaning God is pretty a celestial bundle of lies confused as Truth? 1) So where is God in all this? Or you no longer believe that God's will, what God backs, eventually triumphs. Talk about a person being given wrong teaching! 2. Your mistake is that you keep assuming that Lord Jesus is powerless. That which is of Christ ultimately triumphs and falsehoods fade away! |

Here's proof that if you write something, no matter how nonsensical, someone would believe it. Kobojunkie: 1. And you concluded it had to have been Jesus Christ, why?
Jesus Christ made clear that the Spirit of Truth , the Holy Spirit, gave revelations only to those of His followers who are at least Holy in His Kingdom. So how exactly did Constantine - a non follower of Jesus Christ, come to have this Jesus-related vision which you claim that he did?
2. Calling on Christ works against Jesus Christ own declaration? 1. That was Constantine's and various scholars' conclusion 1B. How exactly did Paul - a non follower of Jesus Christ, come to have this Jesus-related vision which you claim that he did? 2. Meaning what?? It was through that Christ removed persecution from Christians |

Constantine’s choice to use christianity as the state sanctioned is also not unique because “church and state” often worked together to control the populace. Know your history. Constantine never made Christianity state religion. He only allowed that they worshipped without being harassed. And yes he was a heavy underdog in that battle Absolutely meaningless. TookDownYourMum: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Shinto, Buddhism, Judaism etc. Its all bullshit of extraordinary claims requiring extraordinary evidence but if it brings people comfort then whats the problem? The problem only comes in when it starts being used to trample on other peoples rights nor should religious doctrine be taught in public schools, thats when we Atheists start having a problem with it. Well, if you live in a system organized according to that religion (say, Saudi Arabia), it's either you leave and go find a system based on atheism, or you live a quiet unobtrusive life, not always making noise that their religion is bullshit - while at same time enjoying a system created by same religion! |

Gods always need the state to legitimize them after all. Know your history. Constantine had almost zero chance of winning a battle. He saw sign of a cross telling him he'd be victorious with it. FRANCISTOWN: Your point of view is extremely appalling. All of a sudden Melchizedek was an angel? The Bible never called Melchizedek an angel, rather a priest of the most high god.
I've pointed out where a man who was not born appeared in the Bible so there is absolutely nothing more you can say about that.
Okay, about the withered hand, check your dictionary about that. Again what about the lepers with numb fingers? So mention another case in all of the Bible where people SAW an ordinary man suddenly appear and start living among people. You know full well this is a one-off special person that could have been a metaphor. We are talking of God NOT being the habit making things or people suddenly appear in front of everybody and stay permanently - because it will too much distort people's perception of reality, NOT because he can't! Again, a withered hand healed is not same as a hand suddenly appearing where there was non. What has healing leprosy have to do with this. Did it say their missing limb suddenly appeared?? |

If Christianity “straightened” anything out, African counties would be leading economic powers. Read the topic of the thread again. The question is why. The answer is that people can see Christianity working in other people's lives or it worked in their own lives. Example was Constantine - he believed it was what helped him win a tough battle |

You asked whether anyone suddenly showed up in the Bible without being born . I presented Melchizedek to you, you don't even have any more cards up your sleeve. Just accept defeat and move on.
What about Eljiah of Tishbite, who were his parents? My friend angels also appeared. Melchizedek was in that mold. He wasn't an ordinary person. Christ cured a withered hand, not suddenly make arms appear where there was non - which is the type of miracles you folks always ask for. If God started making people and things appear randomly that would greatly disrupt our perception of reality! |
