MrBrownJay1: what Nigerians are arrested in Kenya?! are they getting arrested solely for being Nigerians?! Generalmystic: Omo why are Nigerians being arrested in Kenya again?.
Why are they being extorted Why? Well, because being Nigerians it's either they've committed a crime or they are about to commit a crime. So Kenyan police are just being proactive - arrest first, then later find out the crime they committed or about to commit |

Kobojunkie: The body which you see contains all that is the man. A man is made up of a mind, body, and soul, and when the man dies his mind, body, and soul are not separated from each other. Exactly what I said you said! Gotcha! I'm the master! |
Christianity Etc › Re: Religionists In The House Please Help With These Answers. by PoliteActivist: 7:52pm On Jun 16, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: You are the one here trying to define a body. I am instead focused on asserting that which is stated in Scripture, an idea that focuses not on the parts but on the entirety of that which is a man. But according to you, the entirety of a man is buried with the body. Isn't that what you said? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Religionists In The House Please Help With These Answers. by PoliteActivist: 7:19pm On Jun 16, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: This is what God said in Genesis 3 vs 19 when He cursed Adam The statement in red, much like the statement perish in the grave is a figure of speech meaning the man(you) who dies will cease to exist. This indicates that there is no afterlife/eternal for said man. It means his mind, body, and soul will never again be reconstituted to the same consciousness, that unique entity that once existed in that combination which is the mind, body, and soul. It will simply be dust as though it were never a man. So, in answer to your question, I didn't say the body ceases the exist, rather I said the man ceases to exist.
■ Let's take this opportunity to consider your earlier statement or question against Scripture. Consider what Jesus Christ will take place at the time of the resurrection. Given what is written, I take it that you, in fact, believe that only those dead bodies that are in their literal graves will hear the voice of Jesus Christ and be raised from the dead? All those who were cremated and thrown out to sea or even the bodies thrown into the sea or whose dust has been blown out by the wind will not be resurrected by Jesus Christ? Well, point is, if you define a body as a certain thing , then after that thing has been burnt and turned into vapor that mixed with the air and blown all over, with some particles of it breathed in by millions of people, whatever you defined as body has ceased to exist. You don't keep referring to it as if it still exists.. That's how things work in this our reality! |

SangoOlukosoOba: I must commend your dad for his patience. He is a real man!
If I was your dad, you will be on a wheelchair with no arms and legs. I will report myself to the police station when I am done with you!
You have a great dad. He is 18. You are assuming his dad can physically beat him up. I'm not surprised his dad is poor. That's exactly what his type of attitude leads to and he's trying to pass it on to his son and the poor kid instinctively knows it's wrong and resisting. OP, my advice, be very respectful towards your dad but be away from him as much as you can. Move out of his house as soon as you can afford it. The greatest gift you can give yourself is freedom from what people think. He is unfortunate to have the opposite and he's doing his best to pass it on to you! |

I’d like to believe you are not in Lagos though or you are just catching cruise. You ought go read the biography. He had to walk out naked according to Dr. Fayemiwo, didn't say anything about walking naked on Bar Beach. But now I think of it, makes sense. If you want to sneak out in the middle of the night, do you leave the lights on? You want the lights off, even if you not naked, |

Christianity Etc › Re: Religionists In The House Please Help With These Answers. by PoliteActivist: 1:19am On Jun 16, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: ■ According to Scripture, when a human being dies, the soul does not leave the body meaning that there is no God demanding back the soul when one dies. The soul remains inside of the body even while the body is buried in the ground and it remains intact even as the body, along with the bones, turns to physical dust. The same is the case for those who earn eternal life except that rather than figuratively be returned to dust --- cease to exist ---- the individual--- mind, body, and soul(along with spirit companion) are said to sleep in the grave.
So when you attend a funeral and you hear people say things like the person is no longer in the body, there is no truth to that claim at all, at least not where Scripture is concerned. That soul still resides in that body, only the breath of life that once animated it is what returns to God --- the same breath of life breathed by God into all living beings. Obviously begs the question: suppose the body is cremated and the ashes scattered across the seas as some people request? |
