Rokiat: Honestly this is commendable because it is very rare for a man to help a woman without expecting anything in return.
This is shocking.
Rare indeed. Most men would want to first get into her pants, thinking they are being smart. Not knowing they're thereby losing the girl's eternal gratitude and heart!
Chiffy: What is tribalist nonsense?? Even the Ghanian host could tell the truth. Yoruba will remember tribalist when it does not favour them. But when it favours them, no shaking.
The mods and seun are trying to clean up Nairaland. We can help a little. If you notice, it's not as bad as it used to be.
Two wrongs can't make a right. Darkness cannot chase out darkness, only LIGHT can. Hate cannot resolve hate, only LOVE can
Mind you the host is a Ghanaian American. Yet he asked if the helper was Igbo before she even mentioned the tribe.
Tomorrow some selfish people from one side like that will be saying Igbos have bad image globally. Same people that will go abroad and still bring their dirty nepotism to a foreigner's company which I have witnessed in UK.
To be a 'Developer' no be ewedu
Please sir, non of the tribalist nonsense on this thread. Mods, rule 2

worried222: Nigeria is not safe bro. Even if you are living in Abuja or Lagos, you might need to travel to another state and anything could happen. Nigeria is doomed!!
You do have a point, BUT japa countries are not that safe either. People leave Naija and get killed abroad all the time
(I did this same thing not long ago. The lady named her child after me - both my first and last names!)
This Turkish white lady was pregnant, alone, depressed, despondent, and destitute. A Nigerian guy took care of her without asking her for sex, or asking anything in return. She ended up naming the child after him and thinks the world of Nigerians!
If only more Nigerians were like us. Can you do such?
worried222: No place like home truly but it’s not when you are no longer safe in your home. Hope you are seeing how Fulani herdsmen are killing people in their ancestral homes in Benue state? Only the Hausa/Fulanis and or Muslims are somehow secured and can call this place home for now.
You do have a point. But I think it is confined to certain areas. Example, I think Lagos and Abuja are fairly safe from such things. (Funny, this reminds me of a guy who got asylum by claiming Boko Haram were after his life - in Lagos! )
worried222: I think people advising Nigerians to remain here are from a particular tribe and or religion. The funny thing is if these same anti japa folks gets the opportunity to leave, they will jump on the next flight available.
Of course you are right... BUT, word of caution, there are many hidden advantages you have just being at home, in your own country. Advantages you take for granted, that you are not even aware of. People who coined the adage "east or west, home is best" are not fools.
By the way check out below what this guy wrote in 2021. See how ridiculous is sounds today - in less than 2 years o! (Akinola2345 do you agree your thread sounds RIDICULOUS today?)
DannyXpress: With proper money management and other skills you have that can help, you can make that money grow.
Also don't forget to start a business from the money no matter how little cos 100k be looking like 10k these days
See how inflation is killing us! This question made sense in 2021, but ask the same question today. Everyone will be saying the same thing: "WHAT IS N100K??"
Modifire: Lazy people with brains are successful I know many.not all hardworking people are successful. It's only hardworking and lazy but calculative people that mounts the steep hill of success. Recieve sense now
Oh I now see what the problem is - you have your definition of lazy mixed up. It takes ambition to be successful. An ambitious person is a person willing to do what it takes to get to the next level. That's the opposite of lazy
Modifire: You're obviously a kid....a spoilt kid, that's why you comment like one. Visit some work places and discover my assertion yourself. You'll see some government officials who are not qualified for the job, they don't even do their jobs and they're getting paid.....now are they working hard YOU'LL agree with me that the answer is definitely a capital NO .
You are the one that's myopic and talking like a kid. First off, is a government official what you call successful? Secondly success entails being ambitious which entails being hard-working. How long do you think a lazy, lackadaisical person can keep that up and still move up and be successful??
obi2eze: Lol. This one no know wetin dey wait for them in May. They're laughing and rejoicing too early. Make dem wait first make Tinubu become President make we see.
I am OBIdient, but I know nothing will happen. Just as Covid didn't just suddenly disappear as some were prophesying. Things simply don't happen like that in this our world
