kanuisagoat: Got a long distance trip that would have made a lot of sense.
Rider said she booked it for her sister and she'll be joining me. Five minutes later, I called to tell her I've not seen anyone so she said she'll call the sister.
Rider called back to say the sister mistakenly entered another bolt who was waiting for someone else. Kai, inside this winter. If you're that driver and you're here you no try o . Sorry! I can feel ur pain, ard 3 yesterday I took someone to Greenland from Berger, it took me 2 hours 40 mins to get there. Story short, I'm still in Lekki phase 1 around 11pm, so I decide to sleep in 1004 and move the next day. I move lagos from morning to 3pm no mainland trip. Tot of calling it a day kept flashing in my mind, until I got this trip to ikeja from Palace Rd. I jump on it like a speed racer, even the rider was calling me all thro till I get to d gate and she talk to the security man. I got to PU and notify her as well... 15 mins gone, she yet to come out, so I gave a call, only to hear this faint voice, I tot have cancelled I don't even know what to say, I just disconnect the call. Heading straight home like this, while battling if I should forgive her or pay back. |

tojahh: I can't agree to this.. If the riders had brought in drugs to the car and forgot it. If you're held at a check point, believe me
1. Uber will have no business with the rider. 2. The first person you'd call is the owner of the account what booked the ride. 3. Police has no business with who entered the car. (Its your words against theirs). 4. Account owner will/might deny you (Here you'll now rely solely on Uber app to prove your case). 5. Remember its a card trip, hence goods and services belonged to account owner.
So if you're not returning it to the account owner. DRINK IT! If it is iPhone 11 and it's been 3 days now, the girl has assume that driver nonchalant attitude is a way to thief the phone. She report to the police and they trace the driver, bros go don chop 3 gbosa with a day lock up before explanation. The case is a dicey one, just follow your discretion. I still insist on us throwing party with d drinks tho nah for person workshop e they take chop. Unless it is work station, then he must reach station. |

izzou: Dropping it at Bolt's office comes with a price too...Your fuel and time
If na me, I'll just call the girls and let them arrange for a pickup. No long talk
We can always assume that they stole it, but then there are three sides to a story. What if it's their own way to get back at him? Let's not assume sha
For me, the girls brought it in. If you have access to their digits, call them and move on.
No need to complicate things Me will not intentionally go, unless I find myself close to Bolt office. I once picked a rider ard Surulere, she really messed up that day by wasting my time and gave this attitude of shabi my money is reading. My novice days, I was just taking her from one place to another within Lere, as fate would have it, she forgot 2 products she went to get from Bismid. When she called and I notice she's not ready to part with anything for return trip, I told her whenever I'm ard her neighbourhood, she will get her stuff. 3 days gone, I'm yet to get a trip to Lere, this Lady called and threatened to report... I told her about having option to drop it in Bolt's office, so she can as well go to the office, cos I'll drop her items dia. That was the end of Solomon, I didn't bother myself going to anywhere and she stopped calling as well. @Davit! Tell both of them to go get the drinks at Bolt office, they obviously won't go. You know what to do with d drinks, bring it over here, let us party... where's Tojahh Marley, Felicity Burner come let's party

izzou: Who brought the drinks into the car? The girls
Why not just call them and initiate a return, if possible? Why call the invisible person that ordered the ride.
In my opinion, Davit kinda complicated things. If it was me, I'm calling those girls and that's it. They brought it in the car Afterall.
This thing is not hard, it is a case of discretion. Account or no account, my oga @Davit only call d man based on brother code and it's ok. What if this happen to b a phone belonging to the girl? Are we going to b debating who should get the phone back or not? The only reason my first post of this topic was subtle is because I know Davit have the right to drop the drinks at Bolt office. Case closed, the person that book the ride is the only one that can claim the item at such point. |

GforGee: Thank you for this submission. I don't know why he has the passenger number to begin with. Maybe the girls were given his number to relate directly with him from the beginning, we don't know unless he says The guy booked ride and gave the driver info to the riders, I mean the riders and they call the driver, is anything strange in that? |

Duke111: I get Ur point bruv, but do u know ideally and legally ehailing is not for pacel deliveries but passengers. The person u carried at a point in time is ur client not your app account holder cos d app is just a bridge to bring a passenger and a driver together. Lets use a normal and popular scenario where u call a bike man to come carry ur babe go where she go enter bus, the babe is the passenger not you that called the bike man.
Like i said earlier, d Driver over heard something and he felt to let the account owner know which if he didn’t call him nothing still spoil. Many ways to view this from, I like the case sha, they r both at the mercy of the driver. The man just have to learn how not to absolutely trust a stranger (if they r). |

davit: I picked these 2 girls at Cadogan Estate on Sunday. The trip was ordered for them by the person they came visiting. I guess the man left them in his apartment before stepping out. Na so dem pack his drinks o. About 4 bottles of wine. The trip was on card. Na so they wan go everywhere. Las las we had about 4 stops before the final destination.
I was with another trip to Ikeja when I sighted the drinks in the car. Sharp guy that I be, I called the man immediately instead of them. The man was livid. He asked how many bottles and pleaded that I should call him whenever I'm around the place. Hours later one of the ladies called me. I let her know I already called the man. She pleaded with me too to call her anytime I'm around her place instead of the man.
She has called me twice after then. I told her to make an arrangement for delivery as I work only on the mainland. But she appears reluctant.
What do you guys think? Welcome to the Ochidoma's compound This is poke nosing you can't b 100% certain the drinks belong to the man and if it belongs to him, whatever happens btw them is honestly not the 3rd party problem... Nah the man know where he waka go see hungry lioness, don't pit him, let him learn. As much as it is the man that booked the ride and in the court of e hailing, he's the only one that can lay claim to whatever got lost due to his number, but since its the ladies that brought the drinks along with them, they can ask well pass as the owner and if they are willing to pay for the discomfort, boss pls give them their drinks. The man should go and deal with them, if something bigger have lost inbtw and it lead to matter of authority, I'm sure you won't like to b caught inbtw or stand as witness that truly they took his 10, 000 pounds. |

izzou: I stand to be corrected. Hybrids are not a good car for ehailing in Lagos
Please don't misinform people abeg. The simple reason is because there are very few technicians that can handle it.
Cars are machines and their efficiency is below a 100%. If your hybrid car stops at Alakuko, or a bus stop at Shangisha, are you advising the driver to just call anyone to look at it?
And please stop talking about fuel. The number cost in this business is maintenance.
I can net 20k driving on batteries alone, and a bad shock absorber would take it all away Because work has been done to overcome friction. P. N. Okeke |

Every tenant progressed to own their own houses. How about that Wow! That's strange, what a mysterious world.
