Best thing is to avoid trips to balogun axis...the money is not worth the stress, plus you will most likely blow empty out of there.

If your rider cant drop at Oando or Conoil, or pay the UBA carpark fee dont take the trip.

The guy that posted about toyota Harrier, my humble opinion is dont use the car for Ehailling it will end in tears.

Not working was intentional, yesterday worth a break for me, so I decide to take a rest. Got a trip of 16 stops, lekki to Ikeja.

So I picked up one girl this morning. She was going to Balogun Market. In my head I was like "drop her and zoom off", since that's what I normally do on that axis.

The place I wanted to drop her wasn't where she was going to so I had to go and turn round again. When she finally saw the entrance of Balogun market where she was going, there was no place to park so I had to go ahead. She started complaining that I was taking her away from where she was going bla bla bla. I just said I should find small clearing make she drop o. As I was trying to clear, I had already ended the trip and she had paid cash. Immediately I stopped and she came down and closed the door, I saw a lastma guy in front of my car. He was pointing at a NO STOPPING, NO WAITING board behind a woman selling something. I obviously didn't see it before then. The lastma guy just stood in front of the car, so I couldn't move else I hit him. I tried pointing that the woman blocked the sign and there was no way I'll have seen it and still parked there. He still stood in front of my car.

One of them in mufty then came to the window, I thought he was those agbero guys. He was Iike should lower the window and give him small thing to help him beg the guy and all. I lowered my window small o, before I could say jack, the guy slid his hand through the small space, unlocked the car and sat inside and said I should move forward to park.

We moved without the lastma guy. I tried parking close by to NEGOTIATE. The guy said I should drive forward. He was just directing me till we cleared from that Balogun area and he told me to park. Meanwhile, I didn't even know the other lastma guy was on bike following us. Immediately I parked, the guy removed the key and came down to meet the lastma guy who then joined us.

All the while I was pleading with them to negotiate so that I'll settle them there or something. They didn't even answer me. Before I knew what was happening, we were at their CAR PARK at Sura.

In the end, thank God for IFSHR who came to my aid.

I met another UBER guy there. He paid 17K + 1.5K for gate fee with abeg o. His offense? His belt had issues on EKO BRIDGE so he had to park to check it. They towed his vehicle there. After paying them, he still had to buy belt plus adjuster wahala. I just left my own problem dey sorry for the guy.

In my presence more than 20 vehicles were driven in or towed into that place. I saw one other corrola that was towed. They scattered the bumper without mercy. It well sha.

Good u have reported to bolt, don't meet them up anywhere, except Bolt office. Not even a police station.

Boss please let's not get the next rider (s) involved in this, that's a slap to their face. Northbird should not be responsible for what an adult forget in his car, it is a matter of discretion. What if the driver did not see the item (s), is he supposed to pay for that? If they report him to Bolt, they will block him, that is how stupid they operate. I just hope they all flow with wisdom and do what's best.

I picked a rider up and dropped the rider at his location, BTW. the rider had two female companions with him, they moved into a suite/ apartment

I got another short ride n he paid n I left too.

I got a third ride, on my way to complete the third trip, I got a call( that's like after an hour of dropping the first rider) from the first rider that he forgot an item in the car.

I'm sure he didn't forget any item. I told him so. Because I checked the car when I got to the destination.

Later another line called me n started threatening me about having my phone number n number plate. That I should make myself available. I told him angrily that I don't have anything to do with him.

I have reported the ride on the Bolt.app.

If the no. Calls tomorrow, I asked some people n they said I shouldn't pick such nos again. But I was countering them that, if I don't pick, won't it mean I'm avoiding them.

Seniors, pls advise.

Just as IFSHR says, report yourself first to the police station and as well, the police should make attempt to invite the person involved and if possible record the threat before going to the station as evidence. Police can change it for you based on how you present your case and who money long pass, so b mindful, but don't take any threat in this hustle as mere words.

Take for instance, you get a trip request. Rider arrives and begins to insult you even before the trip starts. You now tell her to get down since she will end up giving you o star or even do worse, only for her to refuse.

Well I have tried it like 3 times, but one almost backfired. Prolly 2 years now, already done for the day, but still on the island (Silver Bird on AB way). while waiting for a trip to get me close to home, I got this trip from couples going to Gbagada ard 9:30PM, that was how I pick them and they were speaking Yoruba, not knowing I understand wazobia, tho d husband was d cool type. I try to take the turn from Bonny camp that leads to 3MB, that's how the wife yell at me, where am I going to and she kept saying too many disgusting thing about me not knowing road and all the drivers that just flood uber without any idea. The thing got to me so bad, I just pull over under d bridge after US embassy and told them I'm not doing again. The man said I should take them to a safe place, but I refused that I'm done, they refuse to alight, the woman kept saying I want to kidnap them, I have plan with thieves to rob them abi. I don't want trouble, I just want to get home, I drove them to TBS, the husband alighted, but the lady left the door open and refused to get door, with threat that she will show me today. I try to talk to the simp of a husband, but he said I insulted her wife by my attitude, what do I mean by trying to drop them under bridge, the number she's trying to reach is her military brother inside Bonny camp. See me wey they talk before my liver rest, my heart skip, air fill my throat, just thinking if I should speed off with the woman, but I don't want them to tag me as a thief. Passers-by meddle and help calm the situation, I didnt bother waiting for trip again, just thanked my stars I didn't end at Bonny camp that night.

I kept chatting her on WhatsApp. Most times she no go even reply. So today I revealed to her that I get her pix before she removed am. I sent the boyfriend pix join her own.

Long story short, I just dey see my money now. Will NEVER take such risk again.

I picked the girl from admiralty home alpha beach axis to gbagada late in the night one Friday 3 years ago.
The guy that booked her was not picking calls when we got to the street.
Infact, this one was even asking if she can pass the night in my house self to pay for everything together with her body all night.
I quickly declined and reported the trip to Uber and get refunded

There are always 2 sides to a coin. Some people will gladly take that amount if they have closed for the day and the rider is heading towards their homes, rather than blowing empty or waiting endlessly for another request

The middle price is what I always go for, although most times I do test the riders with the highest price and funny enough they accept. The times I take a riders price is if rider is going my way and I am done for the day.

However, something strange happened in the Fadeyi to igando bus stop trip (see screenshot). Riders price on this day initially was less than 4800 which I accepted since rider was going my way but app declined saying that the trip should not go below 4800. After several attempt rider changed her price to 4800, apparently the app refused her to go below that amount.

Sometimes, I think the app imposes prices on the riders.

The problem about picking the middle always, is you are going to miss 80% of trips, if not 90%.

I didn't drive today, after I saw all the stupid price and how drivers jump on it, I gently find my way back home to sleep. Yes! There's winter, but not enough reason to slave oneself. Drivers or riders r not the ones that determines price on Indriver again, it's the app itself and riders just stick to what they see. Today I was draggin price with one rider for almost 5 attempt, voom one driver snatch her, if only drivers learn to go with the middle price, the rider will have no choice, it doesn't have to be me... but what do I know, someone is ready to go to Island from Mainland for 1400.
