deedee44: So we plenty there If I hear! I don't go to anywhere without checking map first... just did a soft work, from Berger to Oniru, immediately got a trip to Lere, until I meet dis child's of the world... surulere to Agege stadium, rush down to PU, rider was in a pub and from the way she sounds, I knew it's going to b a long wait, I just gently turn back to Chicken Republic on Bode Thomas to pick dinner. Another chapter entirely, it will take 30 min for food to b ready so deh say, tot of my health comes to mind, either I let go of trip and sought out food first, inbetween, I'll b here till they call... Pardon me using st*pid on d rider among riders, food set, yet no call (9:30pm)... about approach PU, she called as I pull over at PU, friend hopped into d car, she forget some tin, had to rush back, took another 6 mins to come out. On our way, she tried to control d wheel; Me: madam I'm going with the map and MBA way is free Rider: Ohk Getting to d link bridge to Opebi, she said "she going to Ojota bus stop, but her friend will drop at Agege. I on my para mode as she keep trying to justify the trip, until her friend steps in about not liking indriver she prefers both "three times they've taken Indriver and it's same back and forth fight". I took out time to school her friend and how the price is fixed, she got the gist and apologise, blamed her friend and we'r all cool like that, tho the stubborn child of d world fail to apologise, who cares? I drop her off and she told her friend it was 1800 ooo, even if we spend 4 hours on the road. Then it dawn on me, my people and abusing of privilege... Las las the friend gave me 2k and ask me to keep the change, as she ask me to get on Bolt, cos she can never use Indriver. It is well |

nitigriti: Honestly, what part of "Don't accept bank transfers" is hard to understand? Here's how I used to do it in those days: Me: I'm ending your trip now. Here is it - your fare is #5,000.
Rider: Ok. [Brings out phone]. Give me your account number, let me transfer to you.
Me: Aahhh, I'm sorry, I can't use my account. Some yahoo boys have hacked it. I lost my phone 2 weeks ago. I'm sure that's what they used. They stole #50,000 from the account.
Rider: Oh, sorry about that. So what do we do now?
Me: We can use an ATM around. It won't take us up to 5 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience. Not accepting transfer is practically impossible with present situation out here, unless u want to keep getting confrontional with rider's always |

pharod: A friend of mine wanted to transfer ₦3100 to the driver after a ride and she mistakenly sent ₦31,000. Now the guy is no longer taking her calls. I instructed her to come here and present her proof so that we can help her track down the driver and recover her money, just like we've helped when one of ours is in such situations.
Please, she'll be here shortly... In any way we can, let's help her out. Where's she nah? time is going, no time

jaymejate: Actually, you can't blame people for this. They might be first timer because that's the price the app brings when they input the trip. The first time i used InDriver too, i saw 500 and believed it's cheap. No driver gree pick me. Until i realized that i will have to change the price to what i want to offer.
So don't blame yet. Most are new comers Just knowing dis |

davit: I wish most drivers on Indriver will take to this advice. I do mostly Indriver these days. And I can say that it pays me. It is all about being strategic. I don't take anyhow price. In fact, I try to check the fare on Bolt or uber before I take your fare. I also check map. It befuddles me when I see ridiculous amount from riders and fiam request taken by a driver! Na the kind driver wey no go see money repair their car when it breaks down. Boss uber is calling u... we d*e here |

toomush: It baffles me too, I think is a Nigerian thing. We don't value time. Whenever I'm picking up foreigners or someone that recently came back from abroad, they are usually on time. They don't waste your time Forget foreigners u can't drive down wit d intention to eat a chinese man 300 naira, d guy go shock u and the pathetic part they hardly cover long distance... I think it's all about orientation, we r only able to know this and the effect on driver's because we drive. The one that hurt me most is, I will have a 30 mins stop by and rider goes "shabi my money is reading"... me with straight face, I'll place curse on you, which money is reading |
