chucsmoore: Pope calm down. . Nah INdrive I dey do for the 5 weeks and is been profitable. This is my last earning on Monday all complete trips. Been busy with somethings but I wan hit the road in few hours. Lol, Boss I'm calm, I'm not saying Indriver is not ohk, I am just saying we should b mindful the way we cut the nose just to spite the face. As you can see i turned down 3400 to osapa from ketu, if the trip is 3400, it can't b beyond 3800 on uber plus commission, so if you ask me it's a good trip. On Sunday by 1pm I've don 12500 and ignore 4k trips cos I've hit my target, so 20k is certain if u ask me, like I say "Target is everything", but we just have to b mindful in general, you are smart and know how to go about what you want, so r few drivers. |

mrjaydee: I really dont get why riders would request a ride. Driver gets to call and tell them his ETA. The driver gets there still have to wait about 5-10mins.. it's really crazy.
All my trips this morning na the same. Now I have to ask rider if he or she is ready before coming. Some ppl do that in anticipation that it may take driver 15 mins to get to them, but veem, within 3 u r dia... boss u go wait for 15 mins again, nah woman matter, husband wey never wait for car, deh press horn with frown, need check again if nah woman e marry |

AngryIgboDon: Inasmuch as InDriver is another platform to earn money, there is really no need of being pennywise, pounds foolish. I have come to discover that its not worth it at all.
Bolt takes at least 3,500 to 4000 for a trip from Ogba to Lekki. You claim inDriver is better than Bolt. Then Why should drivers be accepting trips on inDriver for Ogba to Lekki at 2,500? If Bolt charges 4,000 for same trip, will their Commission on that trip be upto 1500? Why cheat yourselves in the false deception that you are taking everything on inDriver? The funny part of it is that it doesn't count in traffic.
Drivers beware of this. Nigerians know how to use people and abuse things. inDriver is using this strategy to cheat you. I just did my calculations and found out that it doesnt worth it. Yesterday I saw hell on earth. I took a trip on indriver from Ikoyi to Ikeja for 2500. I was so happy thinking its a good deal. Not until I was in traffic on Osbourne for 5 good hours. For 5 hours of my life, I was still stuck inside Ikoyi and it was not counting.
On Bolt, same trip will be up to 7,000 or more. Nwanne, I saw hell on Osbourne. All my hand and leg muscles are gone. Am deleting this useless InDriver app immediately. Let me focus on Bolt and my Fish farms as my source of income. I no do inDriver again.
InDriver, 1 million years of suffering for you and your developers cum riders. Seem we r on d same page for d first time, drivers really need to b careful of indriver, else they will incur what they don't bargain for. The money offering by these rider's pollutes the mind, but before you say jack "Trip has been taken", like seriously! Try and tender ur offer and see the way forever becomes ur last name. Well! They may be reasons behind these 1. Driver is heading towards such destination and anything goes 2. Everyone wants to b on the island, even if u offer them 1k, no qualms 3. Trips r not coming as regular on other apps and so on But let's put these things together, Indriver has somewot place other app's on permanent surge, rider's does his or her comprehension before booking for one, they r so happy to have a fixed price regardless, when they are saying 6k om Uber and offerimg u 2500 for same trip, crazy enough they still want to have control over route against the map. what we r seeing is zero%, what if InDriver starts deducting percent tomorrow? How much will it b? My point is this, even if you are going for indriver, don't appear cheap, if it's not covering almost Bolt or Uber standard, then don't pick such trip, is not for the sake of Uber or Bolt, but for ur own good, riders will keep inputting not just cheap, but ridiculous prices. I once got a trip of 1200 from maryland to Bode Thomas on indriver wit the traffic getting to Bode Thomas and immediately get Uber trip on a 1.8 surge to empire road and I settled for Uber, I got 1350 after Uber deduction, wit less distance covered, so who's fooling who? As much as InDriver can b OK because they offer you to pick your trip and where u like to drive too, wisdom is necessary at this junction. Here are trips on InDriver, I had to cancel yesterday, due to reasons best known to me, even the one that says completed, never came to pass. On island once it's 3 pm and the traffic on 3rd MB is already building, I try as much as I can to get a trip from 5k above to mainland, and at the end I'll have nothing less than 3700 as take home plus chance to win bonus, mostly I tell rider let's go offline for 4k if it's not on surge, cos they too r scared of the eventual being on a trip of 3 hours. While I'll on indriver and b seeing 2500 for a trip to mainland ard 5pm, and one driver is going to accept that. It is well, Las las! Make d most of the opportunity in front of u now, cos it won't last forever, I can understand how target is all we care abt

He will be meeting his partner tomorrow (partner call for a meeting).

jpworld: but there is law that regulate such agreements, just like you take a loan from bank, cbn will peg at 20% for example but some banks will demand 25%.
House rent for example, if you prepare rental agreement demanding 2years payment, and the tenant sign it, and you visit the court for breach of contract with such agreement, it will be thrown out.
Part of the regulation is:
If the driver has paid above 1.5million from 2.5m agreed, that is 3 fifth of the total money, u can't just go and withdraw the car, you need to visit the court to do so.
I'm asking for a copy of the contract to see if there is any loophole, or if it's within the regulation. Yep! I got what u r saying, we r on d same page, but my point is we can only act of the agreement they both have/had. I am sure you should know more about being registered under CAC and paying tax when it come to law as well, many time we neglect that catch up with us when matter arise |

jpworld: dapotemi
That owner is very greedy. He can't demand 1m outright
If Driver has actually paid up to 3 fifth of the payment, he cannot just retrieve the car, he need to visit the court.
HP has a law in Nigeria guiding HP transactions.
Just as lagos state house rent law, you must draft an agreement with what the law stipulates.
I can assist you in 2 ways.
Option 1:
Send a copy of the hp agreement.
I will reach out to my lawyer for briefing. If lawyer says we have a chance in court, then we go court, if you win, you refund me the legal fee.
Option 2:
Pay the 2 months money, you're owning, then you refund me 10k weekly. Glad u said a copy of agreement, there's no room for emotions in contract, and I'm yet to see any HP law in Nigeria outside the MOU between both parties signed and sealed in court. I always tell people be clear about agreement before pending your signature, at the end it's what you agree on they will use to judge you, just like driver will say owner didn't specify boundaries or route. Hopefully there is a space for unforseen circumstances and duration in their clause, if not... we honestly can't fault the owner, he only set a trap, waiting for his victim. Good and bad r relative, so I'll keep my verdict to myself on this. |

dapotemi: Please i need everyone's opinion on this issue; a friend brought it to me and i need your help please.
A friend of mine is on HP, 2007 Corolla for 2.5 million naira for 2 years. Car was naija used, but very clean, just about 4 month registered.
14 month gone and he has paid about 1.3 million; he had an accident two month ago with the car.
Fortunately, the car was comprehensively insured by the driver (Please note that it was a 3rd party that was done by owner) but the driver insisted that comprehensive is best for HP, so the driver used his own personal money to fully insure the vehicle. All repairs was done by insurance, car was even painted.
It took insurance 7 weeks to repair the vehicle, but immediately the car was fixed, the owner just seized it that he's no longer interested in HP, and that the driver should pay 1 million and take the car; because he will be travelling soon. My guy is totally confused, he cant raised such amount and car is still with owner. My friend is afraid owner might sell and japa, since he wants to travel out of the country. Please, i need your advice, not just from the point of driver, also from owner's perspective. Please help! Where's my wig ba yi? Everything rest upon the clauses in the contract of agreement that bind both of them. We can only tell who breach the contract if we have access to these clauses. Court!!! |

brogxy: O boy calm down and fi ara buruku bale. You just gave the naive rider a negative experience about the e-hailing.
There is always a first timer which the rider happened to be, and you could have explained to the him that he could only request when he is ready, and politely ask him to cancel the request.
All these your attitude reek of an immature adult that still needs training. Just one person... Felicity u wound? Check ur body well
