Guys help praise God on my behalf. My tyre burst on top 3rd Mainland bridge yesterday, driving over 80km/h. My car is in shape. Only lost the tyre and the rim too.

Shortly, after I parked the car, a guy came from nowhere, claiming that's his spot. He couldn't wait too long anyway in the face of tazer, with my pepper spray inside my pocket too. He had to stand aloof when I brought out the tazer.

May God continue to protect us on the road.
All glory to God... May we not embark on a trip of no return.

For those complaining abt indriver i will say don't be too desperate to accept trip on the app, many driver accepts trips for so many reasons for me i hv rules before i can accept any trip on indriver..

This are my rules:

3 many times i have accepted indriver offer even when i know the fare is too ridiculous just because i needed to move out of point a to point b, like today i needed to be on the mainland by 3pm and as at 1pm i was still in ikoyi wetin for uber/bolt trip which didn't happen, in this case if i see indriver trip of 1500 to ikeja i will even accept it because las las i blew empty to ikeja cheesy
You made a mistake here, u said u pick Ikeja from Ikoyi for 1500, please correct it.

Lol. I managed hit 11k today after expenses. Besides i didn't work beyond 4pm because of traffic, security and curfew issues. No police , No lastma on the road currently and I hear say boys loot police stations. AK-47, Bazuka and Shakubula were stolen. Anywork beyond 7pm is very dangerous now especially going to those mumu mumu places. My work schedule has been adjusted to 7am-4pm till the situation of things comes back to normal.
U Don try boss, but on Monday wasn't funny at all cheesy

Naxo most dricer dey do for Indrive, Fastest finger. Me go first dey look pick up distance and drop off time, make i accept request after due diligence, i go just see "ride as been taken"

Now, i do fastest finger first, then due diligence before going to pick the rider. If he no pay me, i negotiate another price or cancel
One fact we fail to under about Indriver is that it service different purpose and at the end drivers will b the one to bear the loss. Since morning all I've done is 4700 plus 400 naira dash, but I don't have the intention of driving today, I have few things to catch at surulere and I just felt like recovering the 2500 I use to buy fuel. That lead me to picking V.I from berger at 2600 which is not bad but end up doing 2hr plus after map deceived me its 1hr 20 mins to destination. Well! Checking what Chilex8 post about yesterday, I can see he did 3 hrs plus, 25km on uber for 2900 (Jesu!).

I don't subscribe to expecting tips from rider, select ur trips well and check ur map before embarking, it just that Laos traffic no deh give warning again. And on the fastest finger thing, some drivers r going home or have errand to keep with, delivery on one app and won't mind the plus that comes with another, once rider takes 1k from mainland to lekki due to these reasons, such becomes very feasible to them, have u ever imagine why some riders keep popping up with same price after hour? It's based on believe. I just pray we don't shoot ourselves with this Indriver, because December surge is not sure again like this.

I got to pu to pick up this gentle man inside mko garden this morning only to get thr and told me he's taking his 3 dogs to the vet cooli gently decline and turn back.

Second experience today
Pick up this lady from Olasunbo courts oniru going to surulere, on our way i begged her to give me 2 minutes so i can top my fuel cos i don't know what i can meet on the road as per traffic, na so this girl start (young girl in her nysc kaaki)
Rider : why can't u tell me before u picked me
Me: I am telling u now
Rider: u r so rude, u r very stupid infact end the trip
Me: ok
Rider : is that what u gonna say , u can't beg me
Me: mute and the ride , it was a card trip
Rider: order new request and it came to me grin i didn't respond, she try like 4 times before u could get another driver all this while i was buying my fuel and i got another request too
Me: please come down here let me go get my new rider
Rider: very useless driver, I am not getting down from this car until the new driver arrives
Me: zoom down small(shamara)
Rider : why r u moving, she open door stretch her leg outside shouting and recording that that i am endangering her life ooooooo, she put the camera on my face , after the whole drama one baba told her to come down, she continue ranting and record my car shouting this is his plate number that i should watch out for the video on social media cheesy
Few hours later uber mailed me and told me to respond
Next time snatch d damn phone from her, drive down to uber off, but make sure you've deleted d video and report as forgetting phone.

**CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY SNEAK PEEK**

I scratched my head wondering how best to show appreciation to NLers. I didn't want to give something that is quickly consumed. Based on what I see everyday it seems there is a real need for people to be able to do basic code reading to inform/assist their mechanics (and know when they are being had), if I'm to accomplish my goal of changing the auto repair industry in Nigeria.

All 12 of these will be given away in December. I am still thinking of a fun, fair way to accomplish that. Input will be appreciated.

As always, thank you NLers. We may squabble but at the end of the day it is all love cool

When people criticize Tinubu especially the Yorubas I just grim, what of the likes of Orji and his Goons. What of the Sarakis, what of the Lion of Nsukka in Enugu, what about the Ibori of Delta and many more. If not for Tinubu the Edo that termed him thief will still be at the mercy of Igbinedions. So what this Guy has done for you Yorubas is more than what Obasanjo did for you. I am not a supporter of Tinubu but the Jagaban himself has made more leaders than thief's, leaders you cherish and sing their praises today. So if we are pointing fingers or accusing anybody start with your parents for the decay we have today.
Tinubu fought oppression where were your parents?
Tinubu fought to save Lagos from Obasanjo back then, where were the voices of your Parents?
When the Abacha regime detained the messiah of the Nation Abiola and the NADECO of the likes of Tinubu went underground to get him out and restore his mandate your parents and the Yoruba OBAS were out there taking bribes and praying to prosecute the best thing that could help them.

Am more of Ibo by mind Awolowo you all worship today was not your messiah but a wicked and callous and self centred bastard that want nothing good for you Yorubas. Akintola that was fighting to restore your dignity was murdered by the same yoruba elements.

If Awolowo had stick to his words he told Ojukwu after he was released from prison, "If by error or omission the Ibos were allowed to go the Yorubas will follow, the bastard barely got to Lagos when he was made a minister and the two tongues bastard instructed that Hunger was part of war"

How I wish my Generation can mend ways with the Ibos to trust us again so we can both stop the domineering attitude of the North.
Bishop don vex finish, I'm glad u can see my view and get the points. Tinubu is not a saint, but he have this acumen of a leader in him ( tho is presidential ambition is blinding his sense of judgement), he has empowered the people more than any other politician in this country. I've been talking about the unification of Southerners for weeks now, but how do we go about this with the population of the Northerners?

Bro, I do not agree.
This man literally has the entire Lagos state revenue by the balls. He has made his political ally's billionaires at the expense of Lagosians.
I'm an ijebu man and i have it in good authority to let you know how the late Osinowo built a multimillion naira hotel at Molipa, ijebu-ode while representing Lagos at the house of Assembly.
You might want to say he has chains of businesses that have engaged many Lagosians but have you asked how much crumb he's paying them?
His son studied Law, but has not held a job since graduation, instead he sits on the coffers of Lagos state advertising board, same with his wife and his daughter (Iyaloja & Computer village). Na only them get this state?
Yes I get ur point, but at the end these things r relative, let's b honest with ourselves, we can be calling politician one after the other and as what their wards are doing, I don't want it to sound like I am supporting Jagaban, I'm just trying to b natural to the ability of my scope. When Arewa boiz enter town now, our jaws will drop, but what do they do for a living again? Seyi have a responsibility on him, I'm sure he too will b facing the heat now with his team running up and down, won't fault a man for having providence at his doorstep and for the Iyaloja, all I can say is it is well. This heart flow will bring me back to some of our elite's, from Pascal Dozie, Subomi Balogun, Okoya, Coscharis and so on, they all have dia wards running the affair of their business, to Tinubu Lagos state is just pure business and he is so serious about making sure things run smoothly grin

But me I'm just here thinking what does mohammed Babangida and Yusuf Buhari does for a living

Politics should be our most concerned issue in our nation...We are in this mess because those before us pay less attention to government inactions....that's why we are recycling old tyrants
That's what I use to tell people, election day we will all sleep at home, forgetting that the decision these people makes have ending effect on us. The way our leaders handled the covid 19 issue is affecting us till now, the way they handled the protest is going to take it toll on us, like I told chucmoore that some political snipers r studying the protest and will strike once deh see a chance too, now we r here, looting, killing and burning everywhere, because we have silly leaders that just won't reason.

Boss I don't like him, he's the kind of person I love to hate, but I don't blame a nigga for being good, I'll blame the game. Tinubu have done enough for Lagos irrespective of view, he have establish so many leaders known today and we all can't deny Fashola''s touch in Lagos. The rest Leaders will have in Nigeria are some how, just few can b call leader, your president today after years of being in government can now lay hold to one business, neither can any be attach to his children, they all feed fat on Nigeria wealth from inception
