Felicity0001: How about waiting time inbtw stops nko?? That's should have been d reason for this new price review and not just wait time b4 start of trip. If wait time inbtw trips is being charge N24/min then you would see no rider would want to keep a driver waiting for too long.
That guy you just quoted has a very valid point. I've had a rider cancel and did another request after I'd waited for almost 15min. When she was ready to get to me she cancelled and quickly requested again because she knew I was the closest driver to her.
And when I complained to BOLT as at then, "we don't advise drivers to wait for up to 15min for riders" was the reply I got. I just said in my mind "i blame una". I did not quote out of right or wrong, just having fun... life is not fair, you don't expect everyone to be fair around you, what matter is u being able to go to bed and sleep with peace of mind. If you feel the rider cheat on u, u have the right to wash em or her. Today I got a request, call rider, after the blah blah... there goes the big question, where r u going too? Can you car go to Asaba she asked, be coming jhoor, she end call... gently I stayed put and she call, oga where r u nah? Me: Madam stop disturbing me please, end dis trip and stop stressing my life. Also today, I got a request, after all the blah blah, got to pick up point and call the rider, she said "I'm coming out" only for me to see rider cancelled. I didn't even feel any tin, man! This game nah give and take, just don't b at the receiving end always. |

brogxy: But a dubious rider that knows the flaw just like me would rather cancel then request again. Then a dubious driver like me will let you step out and cancel the trip, prolly leave the app running when I get on another app. Madness jam madness, that's all |

brogxy: I still finished my point with bolt is deceptive. What's the use of waiting time when the rider can cancel after keeping you waiting for long and most likely to make another request therefore not paying for cancellation nor waiting time. The point is ur waiting time will b added to the fare, when and if only the ride made it to the start up stage |

Blackbishop: Valve Body
I will be talking about valve body this morning based on most questions I get from people on here.
What is a Valve?
Valve is a device for controlling the passage of fluid or air through a pipe, duct, etc., especially an automatic device allowing movement in one direction only.
What is then a Valve Body?
An automatic transmission system has a valve body, which serves as the main control center. The valve body has numerous passages and channels within the valve body. It allows the flow of hydraulic fluid to different valves to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately according to the driving situation.
The Valve Body consists of different Solenoid that helps control the flow of tranny fluid to direct the right clutch and switch the gear appropriately.
The Solenoid are labelled for each gear operation they are designed for, once a Solenoid goes bad, it affect the seamless operation of the transmission system.
Possible codes like
P0729-P0736: indicate problems with the gear ratio. Each code specifies the individual gear. These codes may occur if the transmission fluid is low, a clutch in the torque converter malfunctions or if there is a damaged solenoid both mechanical and electrical.
Note:[/b]Valve body design varies with Automobile companies, both in design and placement.

brogxy: I can remember that you were all out against Uber compared to bolt then. The fact is that bolt won't allow you to enjoy Uber if you are using both app. I had to abandon bolt when they were too unreliable to enable me concentrate on Uber's 3%.
You would have enjoyed Uber now if the 3% were to still be running. I could remember always completing my 20 trips before noon on Tuesday. I pray Uber comes up with something nice cos I hope to grab the wheels by Dec. No lies boss...

Felicity0001: Amen!! Thanks bros for your motivation and encouragement. God bless you real good.
I lie if I say car is my because there's no way I would have been able to raise money to get a car within the shortest time.
The person contacted me via this thread about 4days after my former partner collected his car and told me where to pick up the car, a 2010 Corolla. Every deal was done and sealed via email. Sent the keys via a UBER ride. I checked for his moniker on NL, registered since 2015 but hasn't made a single comment here on this thread. Doing a weekly rent of 15k to be review as times go on. No phone call, no guarantor, nothing.
Just when you thought you're the only good person left in the world God will always prove to you that there are a thousand more better than you.
The person even added a phone.
Its still like a dream to me I must say.
Thanks to all of my fans for the love. Pls know I'm your No1 fan. A Wale Adenuga Productions

Felicity0001: Bros resist d urge to shalaye.
Dat was how I got this req somewhere around Ogba, area G. GMap directed me through the back gate not knowing there was a gate permanently closed which separates rider and me. Even the security told me the compound is just by the gate so I should call rider to meet me up instead going to turn at agidinbi road since the entrance was there. Waited for about 12min rider's contact on the app is a UK line, sent an in app mgs no reply. Rider didnt call.
Just when no was about cancelling rider called.
R: hello, where are you M: I'm just behind d gate next ur PUL n been waiting 4 over 12min. R: You've to go turn tru d other gate. M: dat would be another 1.3km drive for me. By d way, where u going to pls. R: inside omole estate. M: sorry pls I can't make, unless you meet here so we go from here. R: what d fvck is wrong with u... Bla bla bla....

Is no big deal I'm not of the view that we most b on same page, but it will b great if u can answer this few questions How was she able to get those 3 mini bags down from 3rd floor? Why didnt she ask me to cone get those bags from her room? Note: the gate is a code one, that only required a push, and she's practically holding nothing when trying to access. I have asked her thro the gate, where r the bags that she want me to carry, cos if it's those bags (Her shoe and whatever) that I am seeing on the floor she stressed me for... Then something is wrong with her mentally, but if you can't tell the difference btw someone who need a help and someone who try to demean u, her address is Cromwell estate, 2nd gate by the left, block 2. |

She ask me to open the gate I just shake my head and walk away... while she kept asking, where r u going? Una deh try How she was able to carry those 3 paper bags from the 3rd floor and shut her doors is still a mystery to me.

deedee44: Try and check the coils, it sounds like the engine misfires when you try to accelerate beyond a certain speed. The check light is supposed to blink for a few seconds anytime that happens Thanks at DeeDee44 Kaz, I've been having similar issue... The car kind of select roads, like it drives smoothly on some and kind of drag on some especially new tarred road. If I go beyond 40 , d check light will blink few times and go office, some times the car jerk and I feel the vibration in my body. I've made up my mind towards the gear if the eventual happens, but next week, I'll check the coil and fuel pump. I'm not bothered tho, it takes a bad car to tell Madam Rad skills |

Olayetan: I don't support indriver ideology, so i finally took a ride on indriver yesterday while i was at home at around 3:30pm.
Of all the request I've been getting on indriver, its either i offer higher price that would be rejected or i skip the request, so this one came in yesterday and it caught my mind, it was a trip of 4800 offer from Mushin ojuwoye market to ogbeni street sangotedo.
All my mind was, the trip wouldn't take me more than 2hrs and i wouldn't use more than 1k fuel to cover it, my fuel tank was already showing reserved light so i branched filling station in mushin to refuel 2k worth of fuel.
We began the journey, i quickly opened up my map to see traffic ahead, that's when i get the shock on my life when i saw 2hrs 50min to destination, i knew at that moment i had messed up to accept that amount for that journey.
We got to empire under bridge and i saw a very long and stagnant traffic in front of me, at that moment, my mind was contemplating on dropping the woman or renegotiating the offer but something told me you already agreed on that price so don't complicate the deal.
To cut the story short, we spent over 4hrs to reach sangotedo and i used all my 2k worth of fuel on that one trip, the woman gave me 5500 including the toll gate fee i paid then i began to compare what i make on bolt with 2k worth of fuel to that of indriver.
Honestly, indriver isn't favourable when there's traffic. Indrive that doesnt have surge, I can only use it for destination trip |
