The bomb at night with bads roads. And I do not totally agree with you that island is dry at night. I have slept 2nights in lekki and trust me it is not dull at night. Admiralty way and Chevron are full of riders at odd hours lots of short trips on mostly good roads so u cant compare. With good riders too, mainland too many broke ppl

Bros nah heaven u deh stay? Why would u call mainland ppl broke? Well my reasons is more like dis. On weekends both r top notch, during d the week days island folks, mostly from agungi to sangotedo tends to b going home (from V.I/ikoyi, lere) and prolly not going out again, except to nearby stores which gave birth to short trips nd I presume most drivers r not in d mood for such trip, but on destination trips. Odd hours for mainland is interchangeable, outside ikorodu, the rest areas r mixture of all economy factors (home, store, church, office) where u tend to meet different cluster riders with less or no access to transport from point A - B. I hope you will agree with my dat during evening rush hours, its easy to get public trans to island than any other route in Lagos state (Check BRT stand at night & u will pity for ppl).

This job come with is own pressure, I set destination, request entered, but all dis impatient riders, she cancelled, I check and saw opebi, I had to call her back, but she didn't pick... Not up to a minute another request entered, I didn't even bother to ask where she was going to, since its destination trip, I just need sometin to push me to phase 1 at least. Got to her place, saw a woman with just casual wear, already boiling inside (Nah bread dis one won go buy oo). As I start d trip, I saw magodo, chai! See me, see formula 1

I need saka on taxify. Taxify is useless. I can’t do saka on Uber. Took rider from lasu to airport. Price display 1,700. I did review price change to 3k. Rider said she saw 1700 why did it change to 3k. Told her that 1700 was not her fare. So she gave me 3k.
Why do we always need to do price review? Most riders won’t be happy with review. Taxify should fix there app else na saka go sure pass. Price review don’t calculate traffic time. Most price review is for distance covered. Took someone from lekki to Abule egba. Last time I checked price was 4k close to Fagba with heaviest traffic. Got to destination end trip. Price still show 4k. Did review price went down to 3,800. Rider gave me 5k I just humble.

I don't even disturb myself with price review again, unless it is card. Their app is just poor, what scare me most is sharp surge not turning to base fare, I always pray extra when I'm on surge. Today I pick someone from yaba to alausa, d app display 500... But rider gave me 2k, I no waste time collect em, damn review.

Just make sure u take proper care of the car . Use correct engine oil and ATF and u will enjoy the car ... My female driver that drives a civic loves the car , she would not drive any other car ....

Obversing from the bench, but its grace to gross 17k with 3k5 fuel, unlike when I was using 2.0 engine to make 10/12k on 4k fuel, any day short trip takes d lead, I'll just be looking. But I feel more relaxed now.

My understanding, maybe wrong... Google map will only show u direction of arrow u are supposed to take and mostly I don't drive with google map (except in some cases), I took dis route without watching out for any sign because its regular, but fate is sometin I have no control over. Just be very careful and watchful of sign post of do not enter when about making a turn, just that most riders are not understandable, like my first rider dis morning was shade of a wrong rider, she took 20 mins to hop in and kept tasking me to move faster inside chevron to osapa traffic, I was just doing formula one, yet she was cool & hot at the same time, chatting me up about life, the new list and yet move move while I was just entering every open lane.

One turn I hope drivers will take note of is d opebi round about, usually d norms used to b turning without using d round abt, but dose touts r on d lose in dat area now, dia is another one ard dat ogundana road, the dopemu time frame is worthy to be note as well.

The day I was passing there during the day, the road side sellers were shouting "one way, go back".

I was surprised and turned back to see the "no road" sign just at the right if you are about to take the one way, or by the left immediately you take the right lane.

I guess the touts are only there during the day

Thanks boss, painful I have to admit, I don't really have the intention to drive today cos I drove all thro yesterday and slept at chevron drive. I just want to make like 5k dis morning and call it a day, done making 3k wit a trip to hit bonus, soh I decided to drive ard before 9, but my village people caught up wit me. I've left d car with painter, now I have to part wit 8k, tough he will be painting both bumper and fender I've always long to respray.

Crazy country we r living, maybe deh just put that, I have been using that road to cut to fola agoro from unilag more then a year now, nothing of such ever happen... To make the matter worst, its the job of lasma/RRS to apprehend for such offence and not council boys, they are not even permitted to enter into your car, if one park at a wrong place, the worst they can do is to take ur plate number, but every tom & dick will b quick to jump into d car and start expecting you to beg while deh turn deaf ear... Low life's, dat neva make good of anything in dia prime. What really pissed me, no uniform, no identification, he just jumped out where no where, if d road is clear enough, I would have let him in and take him far to a place where we can both treat our case.
