sweetguy10: Those agbero task force guys just arrested me at Ikotun immediately after governor’s road junction because I parked to buy soft drink and gala just opposite where I parked. They wrote a ticket of 25k and after much begging and intercession by the person I wanted to pick , they collected 7K - my hard earned money since 9AM and I had to pay to gauge my tires because they deflated the two front tires and that’s after the rider canceled because he had to “go somewhere urgently “. They moved me into their office and you need to see the shady deals et al being perpetrated there that’s while they all reek of cigarette and weed plus beer . The government that empowered these miscreants are still the one shouting that we leave crime and do a legal hustle , I’m frustrated , angry , sad and hopeless in this damned country... everything is a scam eventually . I’ve been on the road since 9AM only for some weed smoking , beer drinking , no lifers to take all my earnings because I parked to fill my farmished self on the same place where vanagons are parked . To hell with whatever ..... Bleep !!!!!! Be strong boss, this too shall pass. |

Xneg: Guys please what can I do about this, I made a request and ask a driver to help drop a certificate from Ogba to shoprite sangotedo, he picked the certificate since 1pm and since then he hasn't been taking calls but has been going to different places running on my card, he was in surulere and now back to ikeja, my trip is still running, David if you're on nairaland and you're seeing this, kindly return the certificate , I have called taxify and they said they can only block his account but won't take further action because riders have been adviced not to send anything thru drivers as bolt is not a delivery company. This is his number of you can help beg him 0803 928 7170 Sorry boss, hope he have end the trip |

peterdrury: What's the best way to know your route if phone is not hanged, I mean an area you've never visited? If you don't know your way, I think its better u hang your phone, dough I can't ever think of using taxify map. The reason I don't hang phone is because one is prone to many disadvantages, so mostly I know the major roads, maybe the in street is now the issue, riders take care of that and if we r on d same boat, map takes the lead. |

izzou: This country is messed up and useless
So who do we penalize for bad roads? You can't go to Badagry without passing a one way.
You penalize people for worn out tires when the road alone is enough to puncture your tires back to back....
Rubbish country Lol! Boss easy easy, all is initial gra gra, it will work for some time and madness will be use to cure their madness. That was how I turn today at the road beside Ikeja high court, set of stupid people don't know if we are doing police and thief. I took my time to look out for any sign nd she was looking at me, before I could finishing turning, one traffic police officer (woman) block me, next she said "U b uber abi? Deh no deh turn here, you go go inside well go turn", I just tell her madam no vex, nah hustle I deh. She went on like "I no go take you go office, cos you go pay 20k, just give me anytin u get" , I was just laffing inside of me, madam nothing nothing... At the end she level down to 200 naira, for my mind I ain't giving u kobo. Las las she let me be I don't blame dem, there is poverty in the land, if you have a traffic police officer as friend and he/she relates what they go thro on a daily bases, voluntary you will b dashing dem money, but most of them felt they are above the law and d uber question random ppl stop to ask is becoming provocative, I don't hang my phone, I try to stay smart, is it a crime now for one to sit in a clean car? |

igwedehxy: hello guys. i just got a Toyota Camry 2005 a.k.a Big Daddy. i am thinking of:
1. giving it to a fleet management company 2. Putting it on higher purchase 3. putting it up strictly for rentals 4. or doin the Uber myself ( i dont really drive well and may have to go to driving school and obtain drivers liscense)
please someone should suggest wat will be the best investment plan for me.
i will appreciate ur inputs Option 4 seems d best if laziness won't b ur problem, but its natural, you don't have any1 bullying you, just self motivation. If you are a good driver, its either you are seeing your money or the car, but on the other hand, you may not see both. |

peeps4u: LOL. You must be deluded to think you do better than the Uber driver driving you because you're sitting at the back seat. Some drivers do it at their free time to see off boredom, some drivers own the car and even have other cars on Uber and taxify.
It is the disgusting mentality of riders like you (addressing drivers like your slaves) that see many drivers returning same favour to you.
For your info, you're not doing Uber or any driver a favour riding their cars, they offer you services while you pay them.
So, what's the fuss about being taxify/Uber drivers?
Respect people's hussle.
I know some average cab drivers that already have 2 houses and doing fine for themselves. There are countless ways to success. All these "Good is good" and other mass transport operators/owners started somewhere.
Don't despise people's humble beginning, not even when they are doing well for themselves. God bless u boss |
