This was the beginning of a new me, the process of change, redemption, salvation or simply put, Getting closer to God.

My daughter was born on the 3rd of March 2002, 5 months and 2 weeks of pregnancy. She was premature. I had just finished my overnight or 2nd job as a bouncer in a club in Germany.

She weighed 790grams, not even 1kg. On seeing her tiny structure inside the incubator, I cried like I never cried before. I asked God, why, why me? After crying out my heart, I realized only a miracle could save her.

She is the reason till today, why my faith in God is so strong. I laid my hands over her and prayed. I did not know what to pray about, but I prayed my pains onto God and begged God not to allow my sins/punishment for my numerous transgressions be passed unto my little girl.

I made a vow to God. 3 days later I went and paid the vow to my Church to be passed unto the poor and needy. My Pastor prayed with me. I prayed that my daughter would leave that Hospital without complications hence the vow/deal with God.

My daughter is 14+ years old now, straight A student, speaks 3 international languages already, and she left that Hospital without complications.

What else can I say? My pain as I saw it then was actually God's way of drawing me closer to come to know him and have faith in him to prepare me for the movement that was to come. This was the day that the destiny of Judo Movement was redirected from waywardness back to the narrow path of Christ.

Render your hearts to Him today and commit whatever that may sounds so difficult to you unto Him today. He's there to always answer us when we call on Him.

Please before you run your mouth, check the facts again. The above quoted clearly shows the writers mum, dad and brother are now with her late sister, Chikere Grace. Hence she also stated very clearly "MAY ALL THEIR SOULS REST IN PEACE. Love you ALL my late FAMILY"

They have a place in VI.
Try n get their number n call them.

Remember it's cd2 or 3 u r expected to do d test.

I ended going to Clina lancet at VI. They work on Sundays so that was excellent. Actually they work 24hrs. The money was eye watering though, probably gone up since you did yours. May God make this easy for us all.

I did mine at foremost radiology centre, no 50 Ogunlana drive, Surulere.
Fast n professional. Got my result in 30mins. As I requested from d doctor before we started.
It's a gynaecologist that did it. He told me to breathe from my mouth and I felt the movement of the saline solution but very little cramps.

At all about to do Hsg, just open ur mouth wide n breathe.
You will feel no pain.
Heard it's same with labour, just breathe from your mouth.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I did my HSG in a lab in Lagos and I didn't feel pain just discomforting cramps. But Mamas the oldies years back advised me to take pain reliever Ibuprofen at least 30mins before the procedure and that's what I did. I also didn't bleed or spot, I also took pain reliever and I think they also gave me antibiotics for 2-3days and I was fine. I only felt slight pain the next day which Paracetamol took care of. I didn't want to take Ibuprofen again.

Mamas going for hsg can ask their Drs and/or the operators about taking pain relievers like Ibuprofen ahead of time even if it's means buying it yourself. I bought mine myself, even the antibiotics too. I was just given a prescription to take to a pharmacy.

Pls where did u do ur HSG and the cost?

@ CheeryChy, God is in control. In my own case I did evacuation coz it happened in my 12th week and scan was showing empty gestational sac and d blood was jst coming out bit by bit. Just like ur gynae friend suggested u can carry out scan first. Sperm and egg quality do contribute to blighted ovum(not in all cases) however dat doesn't mean ur next pregnancy ll end d same way. In our own case hubby's Sfa was so poor, low count,motility and morphology. But everything is in d past now,it has improved tremendously and I carry a viable pregnancy.

Pls wot did ur DH take for improved SFA?
