Although I could change it in a day if I have done something very hectic that caused me to sweat excessively. She maintained that I change my Boxers on a daily basis.
Fellow Male Nairalandrers, please I need your opinion on this issue. Thanks Definitely daily, otherwise foul odor would be the outcome. Our weather is hot and sweaty. |

If that is true, while I hate that this occurred to him, but it needs to happen to people that are visible and have voice in other for this to be nipped in the bud.
All it will take is to send out military police in plain clothes and drive up and down those roads in high profile cars. And if I was the commandant I would court marshall any person that brings a live perp back to base. I want bodies. Dead robber bodies.
It will stop in a day. That would definitely work but innocent people might be killed. |

francizy: We told them that he's an economic assassin, but they claimed his integrity will block loopholes.
We told them that he's corrupt just like his fellow croonies, but they claimed he never stole a dime.
We told them he's old, dull and slow, but they said they preferred a dullàrd that created Western Germany and President Mitchell's to a PhD holder that transformed the Agricultural sector of the economy.
We told them he doesn't have the moral standard, will and the technological knowhow to tackle corruption, but they claimed even witch hunting is fighting corruption.
We told them he's full of lies and deciet, but they hoped on the mirage NGN5,000 salary for the jobless and one meal pa day for their kids.
We told them that since he knew nothing about fuel subsidy, then he knows nothing about the petroleum industry/sector of the Nigerian economy but they claimed he'll stabilize world oil price and reduce PMS price to NGN40 per litre.
We told them he has no respect for the rule of law, but they claimed the judiciary was corrupt.
We told them his government is usually marked with heavy job losses and too harsh economic policies but they said they preferred to be jobless in a change government than to be gainfully employed in a Transformation government.
We told them he is not as humble as he looks but they said he had only NGN1million and 150 cows.
We told them that he's too old to govern, they claimed our youths are wasted generations.
We told them he doesn't have a certificate, they said he can use his NEPA bill.
We told them he's vindictive, but they said as far as they are concerned, he can employ all his family members, relatives and well wishers into his cabinet, even if they have no formal education, as long as they deliver.
We told them he's an enemy of democracy, they claimed they prefer his autocracy to the Nigerian Democracy.
We told them he's not humble but only a pretender, they said he'll sell off the presidential jets in order to cut cost of governance.
We told them he doesn't care about the Nigerian citizens, but they claimed he belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody, even though his appointments were mainly for the north, he embarks on fruitless journeys and speaks only to BBC Hausa.
We told them he supported Boko Haram, they told us that even if they found him in a meeting with Shekau and co, that wouldn't stop them from voting him.
We asked for any tangible thing he's done for the country after staying away from government for so long, they claimed it didn't matter.
We told him to get up from honeymoon and hit the ground running, but they called us wailers..
Finally, we told them he's a scam, but they shouted Sai Baba!
Behold Nigerians, here is your much desired change! That's a good one francizy |

Confessng: They don't look brutalised to me . Yes most military personnel in Nigeria need to be trained and retrained ,but for one of the brothers to have said this is democracy and so on and so forth ,could it be the brothers were also trying to prove something ?
Unfortunately Soldiers are trained to subdue any form of insurbordination, its the training so that statement could have infuriated them and a statement like that would have come with an attitude too
When we seek to understand before we are understood we save ourselves a lot of stress. It is your type that encourage thuggish behaviour from our soldiers. I wonder if you encountered soldiers from civilized countries. So because they tried to assert their right by reminding the soldiers that we are supposed to be in a democratic setting, they deserve beating, right? |
Crime › Re: ‘how Soldiers Brutalised Two Brothers In Lagos (pictured) by poseidon12: 9:08am On Nov 22, 2015 |
The thugs called Nigerian soldiers pick their victims. They cannot do this with just anyone. I hope the victims are not letting this go. They should get a lawyer and go to court. They can also report to the military police. When people encounter this type of situation, we should help the victims by discreetly recording the incident and making the recording available to the victim to help in seeking justice. We can at least snap the thugs' vehicle to help in tracking them down. |

jomoh: The policemen were in a commercial bus as against the instruction of the Inspector General of Police (IG).
Police force is the most undisciplined force in Nigeria.
In the military, we have the Military Police In the custom, we have the Custom Police In the immigration, we have the Immigration Police in
All Nigerian forces has their police that ensure discipline within the rank and file of its force. Only the Nigerian Police Force(NPF) has none. Instead they have the Police Service Commission where old retired police officers are given the opportunity to continue their stealing instead of enforcing discipline.
We need total overhauling of our police force.
Let there be a set of Military men drafted from the Military Police that will be in charge of monitoring and discipline of police officers.
Presently they're just a bunch of rudderless men. So you think that Nigerian soldiers are disciplined? |

It's very disheartening that we are all fellow Nigerians, WE JUST DON'T THINK THE SAME WAY. iamdotune: I don't know what to call this, an art of implication or fraud.
My dad and I were coming back from office, we saw a police man that stopped us and pleaded to carry him to his check point, my dad being a kind man allowed him in and then told me to come and seat with him at the back seat so the official can seat in the front with the driver. We never got to any check point before the policeman said he's okay here that he should alight..
We dropped him, then we saw two bullets rolled down from underneath the front seat to my dads leg, we were not conscious, he was like what a pity this man forgot a bullet, we couldn't turn back and give the bullet back so he took it and threw it out from the window. We got to police checkpoint they stopped us, asked for some particulars, though our glass was tinted they asked for that too, the man checking the particulars insisted it was a stop and search we should come down, then I started thanking God that what if we never found the bullet..
They searched and searched and found nothing they made a signal and one guy went a feet ahead to make a call, came back annoyed then my dad knew what was going on, I'm pretty sure he never thought of the bullet then he said haven't you searched enough and then they let us go.. That was wen he said did they want to implicate me or what when i was thinking they forgot a bullet..
It's not a joking stuff o.. Please be security aware Thanks for this information. They obviously wanted to set you guys up. One needs to be very alert. |

TIMEISWISDOM: most renowned people in life are remembered for just one legacy and you sir already have yours.
They said you racked Nigeria's economy but when confronted with figures, they reply it was fabricated or didn't benefit the life of an average Nigerian.
They said you didn't fight corruption, when they are told that fighting corruption in the 21st century is done by building strong institutions and blocking loopholes, they reply with unsubstantiated newspaper reports and allegations of fraud from mostly aggrieved political opponents but fail to realize that your government is rated as the most transparent of all past governments in Nigeria and a minister under you was honoured by the prestigious Yale for her work in bringing transparency to the system. They prefer dictatorship and 17th century method but forgot how Nigeria spent millions of dollars prosecuting James Ibori. And I ask is this a sustainable way in a very complex society as ours?
You saw the injustice in the system and initiated a national conference but people who are benefiting from the rot of the system condemned the entire processes and this same people were cheered on by very gullible Nigerians.
sir, I know you had your shortcomings but in spite of that if the only thing you did in life was to save the life of thousands who would have perished had you held onto power then you are my hero because as a Nigerian my life has never been this valued by any Nigerian leader both past and present.
And finally sir, do not listen to what people say, for with this your heart and approach to governance any sane society would have been changed into a giant but with Nigeria where everybody considers Every other thing before Nigeria, it will take something extraordinary to bring about such feet.
Keep saving lifes, my one in a million former president. Well said. |
