MyGeneration: Nigeria is not easy at all o. Me I also have a problem I am finishing my service next year and my parents want me to relocate abroad do my masters and to stay with my siblings there, but deep in me I dont want to, what I want to do is business. Should I go abroad finish my master's and start life there? Or shud I tell them to use that money they want to use to send me abroad to gimme to start my dream business? Or shud I go abroad finish the masters, hustle out some money then come back to Nigeria and start the business? Please I need your help to decide... You better go do your masters and work for a while abroad. You can then come back with experience and reasonable capital to start your business. Right now our economy is in bad shape. This is the period when people should acquire new knowledge and skills so you'll be ready when the economy turns around. This is a good time to go back to school. |

If you live in Nigeria and have the financial means, you need to get yourself a good semi-automatic. A man should not leave himself at the mercy of robbers. We have to realize we don't really have a functional police force here. We are completely on our own. Thank God they survived. |

Atmmachine: Why is Saudi Arabia not experiencing the demand and supply ?? Of course they are experiencing same issue of demand and supply. It's just that they saved adequately when oil was selling. And they refine their crude. We squandered and embezzled our earnings. And we cannot refine our crude, spending scarce foreign exchange to import instead. |

Bros, without meeting you, I can tell you are a very nice person. You definitely married the wrong wife. Losing your job because of her was a huge sacrifice. You should not have allowed that to happen. I am really surprised that you are still in that marriage. My advice: If you love yourself, go for divorce immediately. That lady would not have any qualms dumping you or taking your life. Run! I just feel for your innocent little girl. |

SKYQUEST: We are so happy that court order is deceptively or flagrantly disobeyed because it is Dasuki. What we don't know is that more confusion, more crisis and more chaos is brewed when you try to correct a wrong with an evil doing. There is no subtitute to due process if we seek a peacefully and clean society. Don't mind the ignoramuses. It's Dasuki today. It could be any of us tomorrow. Nnamdi Kanu, the pro-Biafra activist is going through the same nonsense in the hands of the idiots at DSS. Same with the ex-NIMASA boss. They charge to court after keeping the defendant longer than the constitution allows them, court grants bail, they re-arrest. Sometimes I feel ashamed being a Nigerian. |
Politics › Re: EFCC May Return Dasuki To DSS Custody by poseidon12: 12:03am On Dec 26, 2015 |
Davo93: My prayer since the commencement of Dansuki's trial is that he should be made to pay for sending our gallant soldiers to their early and avoidable grave.
However, the way EFCC and DSS are violating court orders is just a great threat to our democracy. Yes, it is Dansuki today and we are all silent. Tomorrow, who's next? Gross disregard for the rule of law has taken over our nation and we are all silent about it. Nigerians are generally short sighted. Those that are violating defendants' rights today will one day become victims of same treatment they are giving others. |

free2ryhme: Did Femi falana watch the tape as to the means by the army to resolve the situation peacefully and the rebuff by the shiite people I watched the video. Although the action of the Shiites are not justified, that does not justify the massacre. Remember the soldiers went on a killing spree after the fact. They actually went to the homes to kill. |

TheImp: Buratai and his ilk should be brought before the ICC, even Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International published their report this week calling for their prosecution Exactly. This is beyond Nigerian courts. The victims will obviously not get justice here. And Falana should know that. He should drag Buratai to the ICC. |
Politics › Re: Falana Calls For Buratai's Arrest by poseidon12: 12:38pm On Dec 25, 2015 |
I think the ICC at the Hague should be where the victims should get justice. Buhari himself is fully behind the massacre; and the killing of peaceful pro Biafra protesters. I wonder what the respected rights activist like Falana is doing in a party like the APC. |

LeslieChow: I personally have no reason not to believe the statement by Aero. Reason being that I know how Nigerians no matter how educated are impatient when it comes to certain things.
Some of them would have reasoned that since we are already at Bauchi we may as well find a way to get off this plane.
If you have ever been on a local flight, you would notice how passengers start to scramble to get off the plane before it comes to a complete stop.
I am not saying the act is justified, just saying that I would not doubt that the passengers decided to take that action on their own. But the statement also indicated they were considering taking them back to Abuja. And the groom has his wedding to attend. I would blame the agency responsible for providing the air stairs. Heads need to roll there. |

Even worse is the fact that yaradua had already put plans in place for building three new refineries before his demise.
God put us in this situation and he will deliver us from it. Have your government been able to maintain the 3 old refineries we have? Instead of government building new refineries, they should instead enable private refineries and sell off the 3 old ones. |

If they see robbers can they stand? That is how they brutalized a friend and stole items from his car packed at the police station can u beat that? When he was eventually released, he was begged by the police not to go to court. They are afraid of court but take delight in brutality. gboodoo: the most important question here is not whether PMB is entitled to d SUVs or not. the big question is whether Dasuki replaced them from arms deal money. if he did, then our president has a case to answer since dokpesi, thisday, and others that were paid from arms moni for services they rendered are said to hv a case against them. we should not be sentimental here. if we all agree that anybody who receive moni from dasuki from the arms moni is guilty, then if d president did so, he is guilty of corruption as others. we cannot have one law for some and different laws for others based on same fact. not if we really mean this fight against corruption. There is really no fight against corruption. It's pure witch-hunting of opposition. |

sapiosexual1: Most of the comments above show that we Nigerians nay Africans have lost all sense of what makes us humans, we'd rather take up animal like orientation. No matter the offense of a suspect, he is presumed innocent before the law till the law states otherwise. Even when proven guilty, we still have to respect human dignity. Even the whites don't treat hardline terrorists and criminals the way we treat suspects,,, yet many would come on here and hail and jeer at this animalistic behavior. That's why we're always inferior to the whites, because our orientation is basically flawed and alien.

natasha: Whilst I dont love Linda I admire her work ethics. I know for a fact during the election period she posted on her blog that reps from BOTH APC & PDP were approaching her to run ads and sponsored posts with big money but she didnt know whether to accept or not.She eventually did and we saw a huge push on adverts from both major parties so even in a court of law, they cannot charge her with anything.Companies pay several millions for 30 second ads in the superbowl, Xfactor finals, UEFA CL finals because of the audience market/numbrrs.Stella dimoko did the same, Bella Naija did the same....she provided a platform for which she was paidSo pls lets be factual Furthermore the reason why its more expensive to advertise on Facebook than your local newspaper is due to the subscribers hence linda would probably charge more for ads (rightly so) Last point .....if GEJ is found to have spent 50million of food supplies for children in JC penny or on a BMW, you dont go and charge BMW for crime....why because they provided a service.
am very pleased she has released a statement to this allegation.
As nigerians, we must learn to be genuinely pleased when someone does well or succeed in life. And just maybe, the gods/God/Universe might smile on us. If you can't be happy for someone, then dont be sad or jealous rather be indifferent. ?......or better still learn their success story and apply it.
We are all witnesses to the fact that linda isnt an overnight story.....she worked and put in years and effort 2 her passion. Let us as youths celebrate a real success story.....no silverspoon...juju things...., sugardaddy things....afrocandy things ...just hardwork irrespective of your tribe or religious beliefs..... Thanks for your write up. Linda was obviously paid for her professional services and has nothing to fear about. |

Only wise folks will read meanings to what I say. NOI is one of a kind. Her expertise in economics is badly needed at this time to help rescue us from economic doom.
