Chigold101: miss leading news headline. Dasuki is still in EFCC COSTUDY. Therefore it is EFCC that didnt bring him to court. Because they want to buy time and push for secret trial, after all their open trial in social media... I wonder what EFCC are trying to hide. I believe they are scared of the names he might mention. |

I am worried that Dasuki by this act did not present PDP supporters something to chew on in his defense. Are you alright at all? Dasuki is still being detained by the FG. It's not up to him to decide if he will come or not. |

id4sho: OP the difference is that when you are with EFCC, you get small respect as EFCC cell no be jail just like Dokpesi. Metuh was with EFCC, but he go court to ask to be free but court send am go prison. When he was in EFCC cell, was he in handcuff? Now instead of EFCC officer na prison warden dey follow am Instead of EFCC bus na black maria dey carry am He for stay with EFCC, if he know ftc since 2k13 What is this one talking about? Former Jigawa state governor Lamido and his sons were also remanded in prison custody before getting bail. They were never brought to court in handcuffs. This was a deliberate attempt by Buhari to humiliate the PDP spokesman. Bye the way, remanding him in prison is better for him because his lawyers and family and friends can see him. But when he was at the EFCC, they were denying him access to his lawyers and family. Decent Nigerians should condemn this nonsense from Buhari. |

teamchocolate: You are obviously johesu! My advice to you is that you should go and read widely. The very pple who came up with this nonesense u have postulated are purely hypocritical...cuz when they wanted health care for their family, guess what? they insisted on a doctor's care.... Go and read up about this....
Consultant nurse kor, consultant cleaner ni... pls Google the word consultant nurse and come back to the forum to revert on what u read! doctors by virtue of their training are the only ones who know each part of medicine... a nurse usually knows only her nursing, a pharmacist knows about drugs, a physiotherapist knows about physiotherapy....it is like that worldwide.. and that's why the requirements to enter medicine are that tough, we spend more years, and the training is also tough.... an allied health worker can never do a doctor's job but I can do all allied health worker's job, it can't be helped! During nurses strike, surgeons dress their wounds themselves... but if all the doctors strike the hospitals will close! Mind you, All doctors have never gone on strike before, all these doctors strikes u see, consultants (senior doctors) are still working.... But no worries since ur obviously johesu, I will leave you in your little bubble of consultant nurses and what not. Mister please take your politics to another thread so we can discuss lassa fever here, ok. |

AreaFada2: US is just one country. Even US has a Secretary of Health & Human Services. Current one is Sylvia Matthews Burwell.
UK, Eire, France, Germany, Australia, South Africa, India and most commonwealth countries have one.
Surgeon-General is NOT minister of health, please don't mislead people. It's equivalent to Chief Medical Officer in UK. There is Chief Nursing Officer too. I have even met both Liam & Sally, previous & Current CMOs.
Haba! Just admit and learn if you don't know something. Thanks for correcting @teamchocolate. I was disturbed by his claim that most countries don't have ministers of health but surgeon general. He was very wrong there. |

Some of my friends working in a bank were reduced to errand boys when they first started working at the bank before being promoted. Some councilors are nothing but errand boys for their local government chairman so why the noise? Even OBJ when he was a recruit served his superiors by running errands and look what happened to him, let's stop all these useless ranting, abeg! ShowYourCertificate: Of course I criticised it then. Two wrongs don't make a right. It is totally barbaric and heartless for you to attempt to justify this action by Buhari with that that happened ďuring Jonathan's regime. Very barbaric.
Buhari should either release Mr Zazarky or charge him to court. All this extra-judicial trial and detention is totally undemocratic. It's totally wrong by all standards.
Buhari's govt massacred these guys including women and children. They took away the corpses to unknown destination. They destroyed the Shiites buildings and property. They shot, wounded, maimed, kidnapped and detained the Shiite leader unlawfully. We all have conscience. Is this right? There is God O, there is God in everything we are doing. Let's do things the right way. I hope the people responsible for the massacre will eventually be taken to the ICC. These people will not get justice in Nigeria. |

coolitempa: You should read the entire thread before writing nonsense.....I never said they did it but that they are the only dunces that will be supporting terrorist acts against their country as can be seen on this thread already... Are you aware that some prominent northerners threatened to make the country ungovernable if a northerner did not become president? And when Jonathan eventually became the president, contrary to their wish, that some of them initially started providing at least moral support for Boko haram insurgency? Are you also aware that some prominent northerners threatened to take the former Chief of Army staff Gen Ihejirika to the ICC. His crime was that the army was becoming effective in dealing with the Boko haram insurgency. Even your present president threatened then that an attack on Boko haram was an attack on the north. I am pointing these out because you said that the IPOB youths are the only "dunces" that will support terrorist acts against their country. You know, Nigerians are experts at selective amnesia. |

Guyman02: I dont know where you live, but that gum thing doesnt catch Lagos rats, they just jump over it and jes go there way or they allow the gum to weaken after some days before they quietly eat the bait and walk away while laughing at you I don't think so. I find the rat gums to be the most effective so far. But you have to place them along the usual route of the rats/mice; for the rats you have to use the large gums and for the mice, use the small gums. I don't even bother with the rat poisons because the rats quickly learn to avoid them. And this is because the poisons usually kill almost instantly letting the surviving ones connect the death with the poison. For a rat poison to be effective, it should not kill instantly. It should take a day or two to kill so that the rat or mouse cannot connect the death with the poison. They are intelligent too. |

smitez: You are very funny.
Do you realize the impact it would have on the american economy if they can make their shale cheaper than oil and more available? It would sky-rocket their economy, and this is their Goal. I don't see them giving up until it is accomplished. What you don't realize is all none-oil exporting countries are all hoping for a better alternative to oil. Shake oil is not an alternative to crude oil. Shale oil is also crude oil. Shale just refers to the new technology they are using to extract more crude oil which is different from the conventional drilling method. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: US and EU Officially Lift Nuclear Related Sanctions On Iran by poseidon12: 7:51pm On Jan 17, 2016 |
jstbeinhonest: Oil production is far from being shortened,It would get even worse once America develops a technology to explore their shale oil at a cheaper price. While it is true that oil price might still rise,it is important to note that the world is looking away from oil to cheaper sources of energy, trust me oil might never go back to its days of $70+ per barrel. Are there cheaper sources of energy than dirty oil? I'm not aware. |

Built2last: You might not share in my opinion but I have one question for all of us.
Is PMB winning the war on corruption?
If yes, mention one person who has spent 5 days behind bars. They are remanded on friday and granted bail on monday.
Truth is, PMB would have succeeded if this is military regime. This is democracy and we don't have perfect institutions to nail corrupt fellows.
IMO, PMB should block all lupholes and face front. Consistent embrace of this administration to the past will on wake us up 4 years later to realise that we have not had dividends of democracy. This anti corruption war is a serious distraction. 2019, people will remember I noted this.
The men on that list are strong men who will definitely fight back. His kinsmen removed him in 1983 for stubbornness. ..history is playing back....let him face front, embrace the future, block corrupt channels, revive an obvious dead economy by strong economic ideas and we will re elect him in 2019.
You may say, I don't feel the pains of families and soldiers who have died but that's not exactly what they need.
They currently need reassurance that government got their back. Rebuild the waste places, ensure peace in the region, build infrastructures for them. Create employment for them and empower the youths. If PMB jails all the men on that list which will never happen, the region still needs adequate security and welfare.
I can't find Ihejirikas and Danbazzau on that list is it because the later is now a minister under his regime?
Danbazzau heldsway under Yaradua while Ihejirika held sway under GET. Not forgetting the NSA before Dasuki.
PMB should investigate our economy further and face front.
I don't see him jailing more than 5 people in 4 years. Our laws have enough lacuna to free thieves...that's why no one is behind bars 7months after. Those proven to have stolen will definitely go to prison. I see a lot of people being eventually convicted and imprisoned. But we must follow rule of law. We must not allow tyranny. |
