The man at the center of Buhari's Embarrassment in Delta State today.

See the man Buhari Called 'APC presidential candidate' that got people talking

Buhari referred to APC Delta Gubernatorial Candidate, Great Ogboru,. as APC presidential candidate, then senatorial candidate before finally getting it right.

Buhari was to hand over APC flag to the Delta State governorship candidate of the party.

However, he said: "I am handing over this flag of honour to our presidential candidate." When the man to his left corrected him, saying "gubernatorial", Buhari responded with "to our senatorial candidate". Again, the man corrected him, saying "gubernatorial". This time, Buhari said: "governortorial candidate".

Watch video HERE and see more about the man. How he went on exile and more.

Yoruba Christians are big trouble. !

If we Christian Yorubas don't fight back by resisting this satanic plan, we might sleep one day and wake up in the caliphate.
Yoruba Christians should stand up now and speak out.
Yoruba Muslims are hell bent in turning Yoruba land to Islamic caliphate. In Lagos State, all the local governments built where Muslims pray, but they have refused to build not even a single structure where Christians can do fellowship.
Islamization of Yoruba land is in progress. We all know those who are pushing for this devilish act.... Buhari and Akintola, but they will fail again.

As a Christian Yoruba, it's time for us to stand up and meet these people at the battle ground and give Yoruba Muslims their own dosage. It's going to be fire for fire. It's no more business as usual.

Name one thing Islam/Sharia has contributed to humanity and I will show you a pregnant Virgin.

Go to the North and see the consequences of Sharia, you will weep for Northern Christians... (Terrorism is becoming a norm in that region) This is what Yoruba Muslims want to bring to South West.
Yoruba Muslims should be very very careful. They ought to have known that the silence of Yoruba Christians is not an act of cowardice.

We are waiting for you guys.

dainformant:
Rivers State indigenes in the United Kingdom have protested the planned military interference in the forthcoming 2019 General Election, calling on the international community to check the excesses of the Federal Government.

The protest which was powered by the One Million Youths for New Rivers State held at the Nigerian High Commission in London.

The group submitted their petition to the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, the House of Commons and also briefed the leadership of the Nigerian Community in the United Kingdom.

The protesters who were led by the National Coordinator of One Million Youths for New Rivers State, Hon Ehie Edison and Secretary General, Hon Major Jack also condemned the use of the Nigerian Armed Forces to intimidate voters and political opponents of the Federal Government.

They further condemned the non implementation of the Ogoni clean up exercise despite the flag off of the process three years ago.

The protesters said they resolved to involve the international community because it is obvious that the Federal Government plans to rig the 2019 elections.

They stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has distributed permanent voters cards to citizens of neighbouring Niger Republic in order to rig the elections.

A spokesman for the protesters also condemned the fact that the Federal Government drew up an itinerary that prevented Prince Charles of Wales from visiting the oil rich Niger Delta.

They called on the United Kingdom to work with other countries to ensure free, fair and peaceful polls in 2019.

According to them, President Muhammadu Buhari should not be allowed to use the military to rig the 2019 General election, especially in Rivers and other Niger Delta States.

The protesters were received by officials of the Nigerian High Commission to the United Kingdom.

Christianity EtcRe: Explosion Rocks Umuahia Catholic Church by Positivepoint(m): 8:30am On Dec 12, 2018
7Ebisco:
An explosion on Tuesday rocked the Diocesan Headquarters of Umuahia Catholic Archdiocese, popularly Mater Dei Catholic Church on Azikiwe road in Umuahia, the Abia capital.

It was gathered the explosion, which occurred in the church premises at about 2:45pm, caused pandemonium in the area as residents who were taken by surprise scampered for safety.

Sources within the cathedral revealed the explosion was caused by an old abandoned petrol tank, which had been buried and long forgotten.

The church gardener, after his routine cleanup was said to have unknowingly set fire on heap of refuse collected while cleaning the compound directly where the tank was buried

The heat from the fire was said to have triggered the explosion, which affected roofs of houses around the cathedral.

No life was said to however been affected during the incident.

Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, told our correspondent exclusively that personnel of the Explosive Ordinance Department (EOD) of the State Command have been moved to the scene of the incident.

He said in a telephone conversation: “A cleaner in the church, after sweeping the compound set fire on the debris and the debris spread to a disused underground fuel tank and exploded, bringing down part of a nearby fence and shattering a vehicle parked in the next compound.

“As I speak to you, the Explosive Ordinance Department (EOD) of the Police; the Bomb Disposal Unit has been moved to the place to make all assurance that there is nothing much more than the facts that we know now.

“By tomorrow, when they come out with their scientific report, I will also update members of the public.”

This dir explanation no make sense. What was in the tank that make it exploded? Fuel or ammunitions? Fuel explosion is not powerful enough to blow roof of surrounding buildings. I suspect stock pile of ammunitions where buried in the church. Dss should immediately investigate dis matter.

It happened in 1984. All luggages were to be searched in accordance with a decree (law) in place then to prevent money laundering. PMB was HOS then. The release of the luggages led to the rumours that the suitcases were loaded with cash.

Our children need to be taught history. However those who seek knowledge will find it. People should resolve to read more. One is in a better position to understand today and plan for the future if the past is known.
Why is 1994 mentioned then?
PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Military Junta Persecuted Atiku Over 53 Suitcases – Titi Atiku Abubakar by Positivepoint(m): 3:10pm On Dec 06, 2018
It would be recalled that Atiku was the Customs Officer in Charge of Murtala Muhammed Airport command when the suitcases were imported into the country in 1994.

Atiku’s wife said: “When Atiku was in Customs, there was one incident that happened in the 80’s when 53 suitcases were brought in by a traditional ruler during the administration of the present president and he (Atiku) insisted that those suitcases must be opened.

I just need clarification on the event date. Did it happen in 1994 or 80s? Or is this another badly scripted article.
HealthRe: World AIDS Day: HIV And AIDS Facts, Key Points & Statistics In Nigeria by Positivepoint(m): 5:05pm On Dec 01, 2018
tstx:
World AIDS Day, designated on 1 December every year since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. Government and health officials, non-governmental organizations, and individuals around the world observe the day, often with education on AIDS prevention and control.

Today listwand joins in the observation of world AIDS day by compiling some basic facts about the scourge of the disease in Nigeria .

Below are HIV and AIDS keypoints in Nigeria, the facts and statistics, the states with the highest prevalence of HIV and AIDS in Nigeria and more.

World AIDS Day: HIV and AIDS Statistics in Nigeria

1. Nigeria has the second largest HIV epidemic in the world and one of the highest rates of new infection in sub-Saharan Africa.
Although HIV prevalence among adults is much less (2.8%) than other sub-Saharan African countries such as South Africa (18.8%) and Zambia (11.5%), the size of Nigeria's population means 3.1 million people were living with HIV in 2017

2. It is estimated that around two-thirds of new HIV infections in West and Central Africa in 2017 occurred in Nigeria. Together with South Africa and Uganda , the country accounts for around half of all new HIV infections in sub-Saharan Africa every year. This is despite achieving a 5% reduction in new infections between 2010 and 2017.

3. Unprotected heterosexual sex accounts for 80% of new HIV infections in Nigeria, with the majority of remaining HIV infections occurring in key affected populations such as sex workers.

4. Six states in Nigeria account for 41% of people living with HIV, including Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, Benue, Lagos, Oyo, and Kano. HIV prevalence is highest in Nigeria’s southern states (known as the South South Zone), and stands at 5.5%. It is lowest in the southeast (the South East Zone) where there is a prevalence of 1.8%. There are higher rates of HIV in rural areas (4%) than in urban ones (3%)

5. Many people living with HIV in Nigeria are unaware of their status. Nigeria continues to fall short of providing the recommended number of HIV testing and counselling sites.

6. Low levels of access to antiretroviral treatment remains an issue for people living with HIV, meaning that there are still many AIDS-related deaths in Nigeria.

7. Nigeria accounted for 37,000 of the world’s 160,000 new cases of babies born with HIV in 2016. Even South Africa which happens to be the hardest-hit country in the world, with 7.1 million people living with the virus had only 12,000 newly infected children in 2016. The high infection rate in Nigeria, along with the lack of access to Hiv drugs
helps explain why 24,000 children here died of AIDS in 2016, nearly three times as many as in South Africa.

8. Approximately 150,000 people died from AIDS-related illnesses in Nigeria in 2017. Since 2005, the reduction in the number of annual AIDS-related deaths has been minimal, indicative of the fact that only 33% of those with a positive diagnosis in Nigeria are accessing antiretroviral treatment (ART).

FlirtyKaren:
Herdsmen reportedly killed a Delta man, 54-year-old pipeline guard, Anthony Ejabare, who attempted to prevent wife's rape.

Aggrieved residents of Ogor Kingdom, Delta State reportedly took the corpse of the Delta man to the palace of Ovie of Ogor Kingdom, in what chiefs of the kingdom described as sacrilegious. It was gathered that the herdsmen killed the Delta man who attempted to prevent his wife from being raped in her farm at Edjekota community of Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.

A source who spoke to Vanguard said;

“Efforts to take the corpse into the palace were resisted by chiefs, leading to a clash, until the Police intervened.”

The corpse was then taken to Ughelli Area Command, where the villagers were met by senior officers, who took the statement of the widow. A police source said;

“From the statement given by widow, who is the witness, she was accosted by an armed herdsman who asked her to put down the cassava stems she carried on her head in an attempt to rape her else he was going to shoot her.

“While she was pleading with the gunman, her husband, who was stationed as a guard in a pipeline close to her farm, walked into them and upon sighting the husband, the assailant shot him and fled into the bush.”
