They can't blame anybody but themselves jare. Who pays 40% ROI monthly? It's just pure greed and they deserve to be scammed.

It's only an unwise person that will believe these kind of ponzi. So called social media influences are fools always pushing people to be scammed. Very soon advertising a fraud will attract jail time.

If a family member tell them to invest in his/her business, they go say, dey no get, but they get millions to invest in an online farm

Why are you so pained over their loss? Is it a must somebody must borrow your type, money? grin
Is it your money they invested or did you suffer loss or why are you all over the place, crying more than the bereaved?
People who lost money are people with money, they will still have more money (and will still get their money back) but a bitter person like you has no money to invest (so you cant even be duped) and you remain stagnant with poverty making you bitter and more bitter by the day.

Go and make money first, before abusing those who have made money, still making money though they lose some of their money to fraudulent Agritech Schemes.

Two things could have happened.
1) Insecurity. I lost my plantain farm that cost me over 5m as a result of clash of Fulani and host community. After the clash, farmers became scared to visit farms. All my workers were scared to go into the farm cos Fulanis where inside the bushes.

2) High ROI: any ROI that's over 10% is unrealistic. Anyone running any business in Nigeria with over 10% ROI will not stand the test of time. Insurance companies keep warning against ROI above 10%. Its safer to patronize those with lesser ROI of 5 to 10%. When its over 10% then its not going to be around for long.

Investors in Eatrich Farms, an agricultural investment company, are up in arms because they allege that they have invested a lot of money in the company's schemes, yet they have not been paid since June. They have attacked and blamed social media influencers who they claim convinced them to invest in the scheme. Some social media influencers have dissociated themselves from the scheme while some employees of the company have also complained that they have not been paid.

Here are some of the claims of the company, the complaints of investors and the disclaimers by social media influencers.

This was Monopolist's format. if only i saw this earlier, i would have cautioned people. i know this format.

This is why we talk of hyperfund. It has been on since 2019. They own three cryptocurrency exchanges which are okex, BLOCKCHAIN global and hoo (please google them). The owner Ryan xu owns 3 percent stake in binance. From those companies they generate millions of dollars everyday. This alone is enough to convince anyone. It's a long term investment but you get 0.5 daily rewards unlike the nonsense eatrich promised. You can withdraw your earnings after the very first month. They are not well known in Nigeria. This is why u should take advantage of the opportunity now. To know more check my signature.

Billions ke?? What’s wrong with these guys?

A friend was starting up a big investment scheme like this with all the glitz and glamor and even foreign partners and wanted be to be one of his main team members and bring the 1st set of people who now bring in others.

I’m not a fan of these schemes bt due to alot of heavy persuasion from him I decided to study the structure and I saw it was like a modified pyramid aka Ponzi scheme infused with some legit features that make it seem credible bt still highly unsustainable in long term, he said I will make many millions if I join him now he’s starting it up. Mind u it’s smtn he has done b4 and made several millions b4 it closed up, he just wanted to start a new one. So he knows his “onions”.

Then I asked 1 simple question based on the outcome of my studies on the scheme, I asked “what will happen to other people who come late to join how will they make their own money back after we have made ours?” He said very plainly “That’s none of ur business” Lol grin shocked

What's really sad is that this kind of nonsense is making it hard for legit groups to raise money.
There are lots of legitimate business opportunities in Nigeria; you don't have to start a ponzi scheme.

But it seems no matter how much due diligence we do, and how much trust investors have, there's always some k-leg. I just don't understand why. Is it not reasonable to collect 10M - 100M, reap 10% annual profit, keep 3% for yourself, return 7% to investors. Why be greedy and steal it all?

And Nigerian investors need to be very careful. Anybody promising over 30% annual profit should be suspect. Forget 30% over 3 month.

any firm promising beyond 5% ROI is questionable and should be questioned.

But the interest is quite low enough to actually deceive people! I was almost deceived too! Facebook is also culpable for this for those horrible advertisements they allowed on their platform during that period.
Its really not about the interest rate but the promised consistency.
I know someone who went into farming and made profit in the first season but lost about 80% of his
investment on his second trial.
Imagine if he had collected money and promised people sure profit based on his first experience?

There is nothing wrong with farm investments, but investment schemers often hide important information
about risks involved from their subscribers.

You are right about that! But some of them do mention that their farms are insured by so so and so insurance company just to show it has some risk.

The bolded is why Govt Security Agencies need to step in and deal with the CEO Fraudsters of these Agrictech Farms.
They should be made a scapegoat so that Investor-confidence in our Agric economy can be restored.

This is much more than just foolish Investors or Fraudulent CEO's, it has a lot to do with Nigerian Economy.

You spend years with all the accruing risks working to raise money and have savings for the future, then suddenly someone you have never met tells you about an investment that will transform your life with quick returns, they send you pictures and videos of luxury lifestyle you can get just by entrusting your hard earned money to them and they end up scamming you.
Tomorrow another one will spring up with a different package and people hoping to get rich quick keep falling for it.

In Abuja the Hajia in Famzhi Investment Company used the same scheme to collect billions from people.

What they do is to tell people that they use your money to invest in agriculture with high return, they put up bill boards across major roads, they will even show you a 1000 hectares farm of rice with a value of N10M, meanwhile they have collected N1B from 100,000 for the same farm while paying people using Ponzi scheme and claiming it's proceed from harvest until they can no longer pay and they close shop and flee with people's money, they will sell the farm without their subscribers been aware.

I have been surviving on my savings after I lost my job because I refused to invest my pay off into any of the many schemes flying all around while doing little physical business and hoping for a breakthrough soon. Even my wife thought that I am not ambitious because I refused to invest in these scams, today she has come to her senses after seeing people crying over their loss while retaining fake hope the would return with their money.
I don't have my money hanging on any computer screen that I can't access whenever I need it.
I believe you bros, bit nigerians will never learn, if another type of this ponzi scheme appears tomorrow, people will still fall for it
