I think a married woman should not have to work. Your wife stands to be treated as a subordinate and even disrespected by her bosses. Some may try to make advances. A man should make enough money to a point that his wife does not have to work too.

Not everyone is design to set up business or work from home . There are people at actually enjoy the up and go and the constant career driven surrounding..

If a man desire for his partner to not have certain drive it’s important to outrightly marry or get with someone that’s designed that way . .. seriously why marry someone that enjoy traveling for work , or enjoys going up certain ladder/career growth in her industry only for you to insist she stop and sit at home ? That’s a recipe for depression and disaster .

Ain't you in for a shock, when you eventually realise the supply of rich but dim men is quite limited? You are not going to be super rich in the next few years to be able to solve all the financial problems in your family alone.. Two is always better than one,not like these stay at home 'mums' or house wives these days do much mothering at all! They just stay at home thinking of one cruise and Dickk to rock.

Older parents can keep themselves busy with activities, religious associations or charity causes. They can even offer to babysit or look after children for the younger couples around them.

I think the question is relative to our view of the world. While some feel in the ideal situation women should be full time home makers, others think women should be able to contribute financially towards the growth of the family.
I know a woman can be both a home maker and a career woman depending on the type of job she has.
I was raised successfully by a career woman who was independent of my father's resources even though he basically provides for almost all our needs and she equally trained all her children to be independent beings.
I don't see myself, my brother or sister settling for house partners because it is something strange in our upbringing even though we don't begrudge those that are comfortable with it.

If a woman is idle, sometimes she does worst things. Most of these women sleeping with their husband's drivers or house helps are idle. They go about gossiping, causing problems for the husband to come and solve. Career woman is better.

Women have a much higher stress tolerance than men, actually. Most men simply go to work or to their businesses, but a woman will do that and also cook, clean and take care of the whole family physically not to mention winks at 2AM.

Nobody likes stress, and if one could avoid the stressful parts of work and still get paid, everyone would rather not have the stress.

If women desire such stressful jobs, they should be allowed to have them.

I don't get the idea of house wife, it has never made sense to me.

All the women in my lineage I know are working, from my late grand mother down to my mother. To of my aunts are retired and they have a shop.

So when I finally finally decide to have a wife, the only option is for her to work.

OP is saying the same thing my dad told my step mum few years ago .....
He was like wife are not suppose to work the only thing wife should do is cook, clean up the house and take care of the children ....I was shock at thet statement ..... because my dad was the only one doing all d hustle to feed the family he never agree to invest in he's wife's as at then...but right now he's depending on both my mum and my step mum for most financial assistance....
If he had invested on both wife earlier things will be more okay that it is now....


So I think career wife is okay but she should not be too focused on her job alone .

No matter how anyone looks at it, it's the women who takes more care of the kids. (Whether she is working or not)
So, no matter what a woman is doing, so far the kids are still very young and highly dependent, she should also cut down on her other hustles a bit, so that she can give the kids more attention.

Not necessarily true,a child that will turn out right will turn out right.Children will grow up and leave the home no pare t should sacrifice their happiness and individuality because of children that will grow up and leave the home.

Wayward and negligent children does not necessarily have to do with the parents not being there it is the choice those children choose to make in life.

Parents especially mothers are human beings and they need a life outside their children nobody should sacrifice what makes their life fulfilling because they have kids that may or may not repay them when they are of age you can take this view of yours to your home but don't tell this to career and focused driven women.
