OP my sister one thing I want to know. The guy has moved on after breaking up, got married with kids and you are still single?

Not that marrying late is bad but I guess you were a tad desperate and reconnecting with him must have seemed like dream come true.

Well, it has already happened. I cannot blame only you for it. The married guy who is not ready to marry another wife (if both women were to agree, which I doubt), is more at fault.

How could OP have known that he was married? After all many people get married because the woman/girlfriend has got pregnant. I do not recommend that approach but to each his own. It's common.

OP, listen. The guy telling you do do whatever you want with it is basically saying: You are on your own or I don't care what you do with the preggy.

Unless both of you have jointly explored all options open to you guys. Did he say he will support the child financially if born? Did he say he will discuss the matter with his wife and family if you decide to keep the baby? Do you know any of his family members/siblings, parents?

If your answer to the questions above is no, you will have to make a big decision soon. Can your parents, especially mum, help you raise the child? Any sisters or aunts to help you? That way you can still pursue your career or business. Again, if nobody to help you, you will have yet a bigger decision to make. Can you have the baby and raise no matter the difficulties and give it up for adoption? I am not a supporter of abortion, but you must keep all options on the table.

If possible, leave the man's wife out of it. She will be the real victim otherwise.

Things are still under control, invite him for a meeting, tell him your intention to keep the baby and hear his own opinion.
Does his religion or believe align with having more than one wife.
Should things turn against your expectations, can you feed yourself and the baby comfortably.
These and some other questions you need to answer before you settle for your final decision. Success

Are you really protecting the family or just the man? Do you think of family when you advocate for DNA test? You want the man to go back to his beautiful family so that the girl will carry the lifetime burden?

The married man that slept with and impregnated another lady needs to be exposed. His wife has every right to know the truth. I find it surprising that you guys are clamoring for DNA tests just so that men can know the truth about thier wives' faithfulness or otherwise but want to hide the man's infidelity from his wife. What kind of judgment is that?

Please, it's only fair that a woman knows if her husband has a child out of wedlock just like a man deserves to know if his wife did same. Let's drop the gender bias.
