Two months ago, I met a guy through a friend of mine who was looking for a wife. The guy insisted that I must take in before he goes to see my parents.

The guys is doing very well in business (importation). I wasn’t comfortable with that idea so I told him to give me sometime to think about his proposal and revert to him, despite the pressure from my family to settle down.

Just found out last week that a lady is two months pregnant for him. You see how I would have messed up my life and career if I had hopped into bed with him two months ago.

A guy asking for a baby first obviously wants a baby more...not love.... Everyone has their aim in a relationship..... He's only taking a calculated risk....with several abortions out there from the shédì bálábálá girls ...the guy doesn't want to risk marrying someone that wont bear children....

Let’s assume he is married as you later said…..you did not mention that as part of your reasons for declining to marry him.

Your bone of contention was, his demand that you get pregnant first. More so as you stated, his married wife leaves abroad and may even be a foreigner he used to get his papers or that relationship is in a bad shape and either have hit the rock or about to hit the rock, hence he is looking for a solution.

And many ladies won’t mind getting into such relationships, but you appear not to be the type, so just move on. The truth is, men to marry dey scarce and the competition is very tough, so your public service announcement is not going to make ladies of marriage age look back. Ladies are even dating married men these days on purpose with the aim of taking over, hence many married women don’t package and leave their marital home again, when they caught their husbands cheating as that will be fulfilling the cherished dreams of another lady.

As a result of the above many ladies who don’t want to tolerate or play the above games opt to become independent ladies and fashy the marriage thing altogether or wait absent-mindly for God to answer their prayers of a husband as they live single, focus on their careers and grow old.

At the end of the day If you’re having sex with a guy before marriage, what is the difference if the guy asks you to get pregnant before he marries you? Let’s not be hypocritical here. I opened this thread for my fellow ladies to learn from this experience.
Most ladies hop into bed with a guy in a bid to get married without due diligence. The guy is married to a lady that lives in Dubai. He kept that part away from me.
