Labour is cheap in Nigeria because you people like birthing anyhow, so if OP declines the offer, there are 1000 and 1 persons out there who will gladly accept it. Also, the prices of raw materials have soared within the past two years but labour remains cheap. Nigeria is not the US or Japan or South Korea where businesses are forced to increase salaries because of a limited labour pool.

Additionally, OP is in Lokoja - the capital of one of Nigeria's poorest states, so he has fewer options regarding getting better pay unless he moves to Abuja or Anambra but he would likely pay higher rents in any of the new locations. Earning power is low in Lokoja so the entrepreneur cannot increase the price of a common product such as pure water arbitrarily. Another thing is: the Nigerian economy has not grown up to 5% GDP ever since Buhari became president. Do you know the economic implications of that? Yet una dey born anyhow.

If he dislikes the offer, he should decline it. If you are against a business paying so low, please relocate to Lokoja, start a pure water factory and pay graduates 50K a month.

That aside, this doesn't excuse the employer paying such an outrageous amount.

Both are below the par option. For the second option let's say you are able to sale 100 bags per day multiplied by 30 days (that's if you don't have days off) equals 3000 bags per months. Multiply that by 4 gives you 12,000.

For me I won't accept any of those. But you could accept the 15,000 option plus 200 for food.

I will advice you reject that job and look for another, in my area they pay them #10 per bags and those are doing well with other runs

I would advice you go for the 4 naira par bag, it all depends on your sell, during hot season you can sell up to 100 bags per day and you can also advance yourself by looking for more customers to buy your water.
At least you will know that there is little change coming to your hand to make ends meet, but for 15k per month my guy before the month end you will be paying debt not saving.

I will advise you to know how the water sell in the market. If the water is well marketed and are making good sales before. I will advice you to rake #4/bag.
worked as a pure water driver before, I take 3 trip a day.
Each trip, the van carry 750 bag and mine was #3/ bag + 20% of my daily sell to pay boys for loading and off loading the water. .

Las las I end up saving 5k per day in my kolo and I also spend 2k for feeding daily while at work.
I will advise you to take the daily per bag payment.
