Hi Everyone,
So my brother in law was one of the last set of people to apply for the defunct 489 visa in October 2019 and he just got CO contact yesterday asking him to provide certain documents for his wife one of which is proof of functional English. She already did PTE and submitted with the application but the PTE is now expired (Expired October 2021). Amongst the list of options given to him, which I have attached to this write up, is it sufficient to reupload the PTE as well as her WAEC result? She finished from UNN but it is seemingly impossible to get a letter stating she was taught in English. I appreciate your input in this

Good morning everyone, I'm new here.

I've gone through the instructions here from page 1 and from the official website, please I have some questions based on my details below.

Age - 32 years
University - FUTA
Degree - Transport Management Technology
Current role - Senior operations and logistics officer
Work experience - 4 years (across 4 organizations within Transport and Logistics field).
ANZSCO - Transport Company Manager

1. I have never held a managerial position, am I qualified for skills assessment for Transport Company Manager based on my details above?

2. What skill level is Transport Company Manager, am I qualified?

3. Can my bank statement for each role suffice without tax certificate or payslip as evidence of earning for VETASSESS assessment.

4. Can you please add me to the telegram or Whatsapp group for Australia PR.

Thanks.

Good day sir, please i got message from my Assessor to provide secondary document (Delta State Tax document) for my Relevant Skilled Employment assessment for the entire period of my employment. The tax clearance certificate I got from Delta State government is showing that my source of income is self employed, though its bearing my organisation name. Can I go ahead to submit that to Engineers Australia? Please I will appreciate your input

When did you submit your CDR and are you yet to receive an outcome?

Functional English is only valid for 12 months. Expired PTE won't work.
@chookudi, get a letter from the secondary school with WAEC transcript. Letter from Uni should be easiest to get or she writes another PTE. Only 30 points is required in each band

1. No you are not. Transport company manager means you are managing a transport company not managing transportations.

2. it's level 2. It's stated on anzscosearch website.

3. For Vetassess, that may be enough but not for DHA.

If what am seeing online is correct, DHA website says functional english should be valid in the 12 months before you applied for visa.

They applied in October 2019 when the result was still valid as it expired October 2021. I don't understand why they were asked to show proof again as I assumed they had already seen the one uploaded so I have told them to play safe and get a letter showing proof of English

Good evening everyone,

For those whose skills assessment was done by VETASSESS. It is stated on the website that if you obtained your degree in Nigeria, the university has to send a copy of your certificate and transcript to them in a sealed envelope.

Please how did you go about this? I need help!

Thanks.

Hello everyone, thanks to all who have provided relevant and useful information here, I must say I have really learnt with ease on this platform.

I was reading through the documents required for submission after getting an invitation for visa application and I observed that under the document required for children below 18 years of age, they are only required to submit a birth certificate or a family book showing the name of both parents.....

Please does not it mean that they do not require to have an international passport? This got me confused.

Hi guys,

I am a Mechanical engineer. I got ITA for 189. However, I just realised that I made mistake in my date of pte exam. Instead of 19/02/2019, I entered 19/02/2021(village people...lol). My date of effect was November 2021, and I had a superior score in PTE. They gave me 60 days to apply and my EOI is locked. I just want to know if there is any remedy.

Any opinion will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

You can contact exams and records in your school. You can pay for courier services like DHL or FedEx and then give them the relevant address.

Thank you

Jesus! I am happy for you guys. ITA is currently raining. I am really really happy for you guys. We shall get there.

Things will always get better. We are going back to the days of mctowel and Bmiz when people used to get ITA with as low as 65. History is repeating itself already.

I just can't wait to do my assessment.

Congrats guys. I am more than happy than you that got the ITA. 189 is the goal no matter the score.

While checking the List of Required Document on VETASSESS Page. Concerning Transcript, they stated that;

NIGERIA
A verified copy of the award certificate and full academic transcript must be sent in a sealed envelope from the awarding body directly to VETASSESS.

For Priority Processing, the verified documentation must have reached VETASSESS by registered courier mail at the time you lodge your application.

Until I came across this, I had always believed that I only have to upload a scanned copy of the school certificate while I request my school to send my transcript to them by post...

Please, does this mean that they also expect my school to include a verified copy of your certificate with my Transcript and post it to them?

If I upload a scanned copy of my school certificate and instruct my school to post the transcript alone, would that suffice ?

I finished from OAU, and I don't think they have a procedure for including verified award certificate with academic transcript

Bellong and other Leaders in the House, kindly guide me
