While checking the List of Required Document on VETASSESS Page. Concerning Transcript, they stated that;

NIGERIA
A verified copy of the award certificate and full academic transcript must be sent in a sealed envelope from the awarding body directly to VETASSESS.

For Priority Processing, the verified documentation must have reached VETASSESS by registered courier mail at the time you lodge your application.

Until I came across this, I had always believed that I only have to upload a scanned copy of the school certificate while I request my school to send my transcript to them by post...

Please, does this mean that they also expect my school to include a verified copy of your certificate with my Transcript and post it to them?

If I upload a scanned copy of my school certificate and instruct my school to post the transcript alone, would that suffice ?

I finished from OAU, and I don't think they have a procedure for including verified award certificate with academic transcript

Bellong and other Leaders in the House, kindly guide me

When you request for your transcript from exams and records, give them a photocopy of your certificate. They will stamp this photocopy with OAU stamp and note copy of the original on it. This stamped copy will be included in your transcript when posting.

Aside unborn children, do you have any qualified family members you are not including in the application now but may include later?
If your answer is NO, then it is no.

Hello everyone, thanks to all who have provided relevant and useful information here, I must say I have really learnt with ease on this platform.

I was reading through the documents required for submission after getting an invitation for visa application and I observed that under the document required for children below 18 years of age, they are only required to submit a birth certificate or a family book showing the name of both parents.....

Please does not it mean that they do not require to have an international passport? This got me confused.
International passport is required for all applicants

Hi guys,

I am a Mechanical engineer. I got ITA for 189. However, I just realised that I made mistake in my date of pte exam. Instead of 19/02/2019, I entered 19/02/2021(village people...lol). My date of effect was November 2021, and I had a superior score in PTE. They gave me 60 days to apply and my EOI is locked. I just want to know if there is any remedy.

Any opinion will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

If you are able to make another superior score, then you can accept the invite but if not, don’t waste your funds in applying for the visa.

Good morning everyone,
Please, I woke to ITA for visa class 189 this morning. I'm more than elated.

However, I am getting married by 29th of this month. Please, how do I go about this application consideration my change of status.? My points is just 65 though without IELTS score.

@tunlex @belong please assist. Thanks
This is tricky. Did you mean you don’t have English score and created EOI?
Option 1: get married because your future wife is more important than any paper. So ignore the ITA and create a new one after you get married. Both of you should write English test and aim for proficient English. You may still be able to get the ITA cos this new government has issues of 20k ITAs recently, so the streak will continue again next month.

2. put your wedding on hold and lodge your application. Then wait for it to be granted before you can get married.
Either ways don’t lose money and love!
The call is yours!
You can’t claim single points and want to enjoy

Before or after you submit your application.
For 491, it’s after you submit your application.

Generate HAP iD. Look it up on Google

If your school is not able to attach a copy of the certificate to the transcript. You can also upload it on the portal. A few people have gotten their assessment approved like that as long as the transcript comes from the school

I had to explain the situation again to the Department of home affairs staff and I got the same response. It seems that they are bending their rules cos they need people.

Don’t be tricked. If they want to bend rules, they will release a circular on it. You can’t use expired documents to apply.
Also, the people you spoke to work in the contact center and they are not Case officers.
Case officers will assess based on legislation and not because the country is in shortage of skills.

There have been many people who got ITA in the last 2 months and they are in similar situations. They had to redo their skill assessment and get a new English result to proceed. I haven’t seen anyone that got grant with an expired document.

Good morning house and great job @Tunlex01, got ITA on the 6.10.2022, Mechanical Engineer. Currently applying and I was told to list my addresses in the past 10yrs. how far can this go; would it include every hostel/lodge I lived in while schooling, NYSC and masters?

Secondly I wrote another IELTS before the ITA, which has a higher score, can I substitute it for the former IELTS I use in my EOI that gave me this ITA even when it's yet to expire ??

Please clarify the bolded. Do you mean you didn't do IELTS before submitting EOI? If that is the case, your ITA might be invalid.
.

The best way to include your partner is to apply for visa before your wedding day. Then while your application is ongoing (before you're granted visa), write DHA to inform them of your change in circumstance. They will request for additional documentation and if they are satisfied, they will add her to your existing application, then you both get PR. This is what I did. If you wait until you're granted visa before informing DHA, you'll be forced to apply for spouse visa for her, which means you might be apart for two years before she can join you.

If you're unable to apply before your wedding, then you might need to forfeit this ITA, and submit another EOI after wedding, then hope you're invited again.

All the best.
Good afternoon @iceberge and @tunlex
Please, I did IELTS. I had 6.5 in speaking hence, I had zero points for English. This is what I meant.

Customer service centre has been outsourced to a private company. The people you talked to are contractors for DHA not case officers.

Include address you lived in for more than 3 months.

Even if you add IELTS with higher score, it will be irrelevant as your application will be treated based on the points you were invited with. No need to start complicating your matter for something that wouldn't add any value to your application.

I know your schedule will be busy but both of you should create time and sort out the English asap and put in the EOI as married. These ITAs is likely going to continue till end of the year

I need your advice.

I have Masters in Social (MSW) Community Development is my Speciliazation written on my certificate.

I work as a Social Welfare Officer and aced my IElTS. My assessment is the gridlock.

I can see Social Work on 189 and 190. The accessing body is AASW which has a very long process.

However, that of AIWCW (Welfare and Community Worker) is liberal. I have all the documents.

Can I assess my credentials with AIWCW and use for Social Work since my major in Social Work.?

Or

I wait till I get a province for Welfare and Community Workers.?

Kindly advise.

You cannot apply for an occupation you have not been assessed for. If you assessed for a welfare/community worker, then your EOI must be in that occupation.

Meanwhile, the occupation you get visa with does not limit the kind of jobs you can do when you are in the country. You can work as a social worker if you can sell yourself.

In the meantime, I will advice that you to consider your options properly and assess for occupation that will get you ITA faster.
