PPR Alert!!! Its not mine but I have been here before to lament so it's only fair to share the news as well. Sis In Law left on student visa January 2022. Visiting visa for my brother and daughter was submitted same January 2022 and the wait started. In August after reading plenty feedback here, I suggested we apply for SOWP for hubby and study permit for the daughter. Application submitted August 18 and Medicals done upfront as well. Another wait started up on till yesterday morning, there was still no movement on the application. Towards evening, we noticed movement (as we kuku dey check almost every sec..lol) Voila...the long awaited arrived same 24th November. My brother is yet to believe what just happened sef. God proved himself again at the 11th hour. To those still expecting, please explore all you can..I can't even say specifically how we arrived here. Above all, God made it happen!!! To those who probably submitted VV before and wondering if to proceed with SOWP....I will advise that you do and leave both applications open. Thanks everyone 11 Likes 1 Share |

Uzomachukwuu: Don’t think it is always the case. My spouse traveled without enrollment letter. Her school only does enrollment when you are present. No one asked for it. On a recent trip, the airline asked for study permit, I just told the guy that is not his job, his job is to check for valid travel documents like passport and visa not study permit. PPR SOWP Alert!!!!!!!!!!!! We are such a lucky family through God our Strength. My Wife's admission and PPR was approved in less than 2 months. Now our SOWP application has been approved in less than 2 months. SOWP Application = October 9th Biometrics = October 10th Passport Request/Medical Upfront Update = November 22. We give God all the praise. POF = Naira account - 8.5m = Dollar account - 20,000 dollars We did all the application our selves, but had Makano (one of the guru here to review all our documents before upload!!) 11 Likes |

Greetings to everyone, I really need your help guys on this 1. I had applied for a visit visa in January for my wife and toddler child. 2. After a prolong wait and no update, I put in an application for SOWP for my wife and a visit visa for the my toddler as a dependent in October and then a week later.......... 3. An MP I had contacted says IRCC had said IRCC had noticed 2 visit applications "IRCC wants to know why there is a new application and they will not send any request letters until this is clarified" I have sent an explanation using webform but then there has been no update ever since then. What do you suggest please? 1. Wait and do nothing 2. Withdraw the visit visa applied in January and leave the SOWP? 3. Leave the SOWP but withdraw my child dependent Visit visa 4. Any other suggestions will be very appreciated Guys i am in Dire need of help as i am getting really demoralized right now. |

Yeka2022: I think it's the dependent double VV that is the issue , since IRCC said you should explain then explain the situation through webform they may not replay you but will take action you can contact the Mp again to help you check the situation of things and if u must withdraw any then it's the initial vv of your child thatt you withdraw 1 Like |

Omosikiru1992:It’s not compulsory, you only need an enrollment letter if you have registered for your courses. Several people have travelled without one. Let the important documents be present. |

Hello guys, i need the advice of the gurus here. I applied for a Canada Visit visa 2years ago but i cancelled the application. NOTE: I DID NOT go for biometrics at all. I cancelled the application 3days after i applied and i didnt do biometrics at all. My question is does that mean i have applied for Canada Visa before knowing fully well they do not have my face or fingerprints on record since i didnt do biometrics.... I have submitted a SOWP application and i answered NO to the question if i have ever applied or been refused a Canada Visa before? Do i need to update and inform them via webform that i applied before but cancelled the application before they processed it? I need your help guys..... |

Good day everyone, I submitted VV for my spouse in May, but have yet to receive a response; the last time I went to my MP office (MP inquired, and he stated that everything was completed and passed), but have yet to receive a request from IRCC. The reason I want my spouse to come on VV is to give birth. That must be the reason for the delay. Even if the VV was approved now, I don't need it again because my baby is already two months already. I'm about to submit Sowp and VV for my Baby. So here are my questions & concerns, I made a mistake on my spouse's Date of Birth when I submitted her VV. I accidentally typed 1991 instead of 1990. I found out about this three days after I applied, at first, I wanted to cancel the application, but they'd already sent me a Biometric instruction letter, so I didn't bother. I quickly raised the webform and emailed to address the issue, and I immediately ordered Gcmsnotes. When the note arrived, I discovered that they had already reviewed my date of birth (New Value). BUT, I've been checking her biometrics status on the CIC website to see if it's been updated, but it always says not found when I enter her information with the correct DOB (1990), but when I enter the incorrect DOB (1991), it shows her status as Valid. My people, Pls, what should I do? Should I let her go for another biometrics, OR keep sending an email to IRCC for the update, OR should I leave it that way? Thanks in advance. |

Good day All, please I need advice. I applied for VV for my family since April 2022 uptill now we haven't heard anything. I want to now apply for SOWP for my Husband and study permit for my children. I have 4 kids two and above 5yrs and two are less than 5. Please I need comprehensive advice on how to go about it and the list of documents we will need.
