Don't let anyone fool you. When it start happening this thread will not have upto one page a day because they have cashed out.The market is heading south soon.look at the good result from some companies first quarter still thr stock is dancing side ways.So what is the catalyst to propel the market north. Is it the hunger in the street or foreign investors. What is going to attract them..Is it the legal battles that has no end in sight anytime soon. The market will tank. Cash is king

The FO/TE script on TRANSCORP is perhaps becoming a bit more clearer now.
Something is playing out from behind closed doors. I think some persons might be up to something. wink cheesy cool

Earlier today, the FG gave a pass to the conglomerate as the 1st GENCO to meet all requisite consensus guidance after TRANSCORP surpassed the 5 year BPE target of 670MW as set out in the privatization agreement of 2013.

Put differently, TRANSCORP has just been duly recognized as the first privatized power GENCO to be released from post privatization monitoring following its acquisition of the Ugheli power (UPL) from the FG in 2013.
At the time, the Ugheli plant had a generating capacity of 160MW, but which has since been increased by approx 325% to 680MW.

At present, UPL is a 972MW power plant... add that to the 966MW plant of Afam power & Afam three fast power in Rivers State and you have a combined total power generating capacity of 1,938MW by TRANSCORP POWER.
By implication, the energy conglomerate currently contributes near 20% to the National Grid... by far the highest at present.

There is VALUE to be tapped from that coy!
Whatever happens at the tribunal and whoever eventually becomes the president of the FRN, I expect to see a lot of positive in the power (and energy) sector.
Might not be a bad idea to follow the money!

Fundamentally, the coy is relatively healthy with the combination of current valuation and projected risk premium showing an appreciably wide deviation from CMP.
An immensely great mid to long term play.

CAVEAT: The need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
Pls do well to follow your instinct.

But then again, that won't stop me from keeping my eyes focused on the prize. shocked cool

Hint: What if we look at the intrinsic value of TRANSCORP (ref: Q1, 2023 FP in view) and benchmark it against the AvP price of Mr TE... then peg a 50% MoS to that estimate and place it side by side with the coys present TA stance.

Wouldn't be a bad idea checking in with that guide you know! wink cheesy cool
We need to know when to reenter. Having a good trade set-up should help.

It is well

I can not come and go kill myself for nothing. wink cheesy grin

FBN Holdings Plc wishes to notify that the Company did not publish its Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ended March 31, 2023 (Q1 2023 UFS), by April 30, 2023, as required under the Rules of the NGX.

This is due to the delays in finalising the Audited Financial Statements (FY 2022 AFS) of the Group for the year ended December 31, 2022.

FBNH plans to publish both the FY 2022 AFS and the Q1 2023 UFS on or before May 30, 2023, by which time, we hope that the necessary approval would have been obtained from our primary regulator.

Good evening house. How can I get fast response from Veritas Registrar? I did not receive the recently paid dividend from Zenith Bank. I submitted e-dividend mandate to them around September 2022 through Meristem securities and I think It was not adequately processed. I have contacted Meristem and I am yet to be updated about the complaint.

Yet to receive my dangote sugar dividend too.
They are asking me to send them a copy of the e-dividend form again.
I can't even remember the year I processed the mandate form.

Why not engage with the registrars directly? I am not in the country, but have processed all my E-Dividend through the registrars and have been receiving all my dividends directly into my bank accounts. Complete the E-Dividend forms and send it directly to the registrars.

Getting X-alert depends on network it has nothing to do with the broking firm. It's triggered automatically but sometimes network issues could cause a non delivery. So you may get but some other times it may be otherwise or get it the next day.

The surest way to be sure your stock was bought or sold is to demand for your cscs statement.

If such request is made before the third day after transaction, you see the stock on pending column but if after three days it would have settled in your account on the balance column.

You can also check your account on the trading platform and confirm from your transaction statement.

Sure and the service is free. Except if you visit the physical office and request a print out, some firm will charge you for the printing.

Fidelity will be paying 40kobo dividend
Qualification Date: 12May2023
Payment Date: 23May2023

With the interim dividend of 10kobo already paid in September last year, this brings total dividend from Fidelity to 50Kobo

First Bank should be ashamed of itself if it pays 50 Kobo or less. Last year First Bank came to the level of Fidelity by only paying 35Kobo as full year dividend.

I had to follow up on my broker toe to toe to receive my dividend.

l thought by now SEC would have come up with a way of online registration and verification of interest to receive dividend to reduce this.

This delay and back and forth in refilling and sending mandate form all over again is becoming a norm and it is annoying seriously.
