Someone of them reconcile it by saying the god must have used evolution as the method of producing the diversity we see. The god was still the one that started life according to such beliefs.
Lol. A Christian archeologist digging up a 2 million year old Homo Erectus must really be confused. How can he reconcile that with his bible

Although this is not the thrust of the argument. I want to infer that you are more informed, solely endowed with knowledge than all pastors and adherents of Christians altogether. Right?
I don't even understand your point.
We were talking about Bible inadequacies when you posted this....

There are no inadequacies in the Bible. If you are reading it for criticism, you can't grasp anything. Why is it that no christians agree with you. Yet, there are many Christians that have acquired more certificates than you. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had an D.Sc, not Honourary. Adeboye Oyedepo, Kumuyi, etc are gifted eggheads. Paul Enenche, Uma Ukpai etc are medical doctors.
Don't just stay in one obscure corner and be playing all - wise.

You forgot to educate him that proof of something evolving doesn't translate into the beginning of the world. Duhhh. Must i help you with the simplest things? Did you evolve from a monkey or ape? Why have apes and baboons stopped evolving into humans like you want people to believe?
This is the rantings of a pure Ignoramus.
This shows you have never read up evolution in the first place, apart from the garbage your pastor feeds you.
Read evolution a bit. Just google human evolution and educate yourself

Yes I agree, but like I said before religion has its uses. It is not all negative. I attended a missionary secondary school and we were taught proper morals.
Missionaries promoted education and some built hospitals. Surely this counts for something.
It does. But then they aren't the only ones. Private organizations do that too

God does not pre determine the options. For example you have three road in front of you God knows what will happen if you pass any of the roads he knows the safe road to pass and might even tell you if you listen to him. But the decision to pass any of the roads is to be made by you. You get to choose.
Then its not freewill because the outcome is already predetermined

Yeah Everything that is what you can do what you may do. It's like knowing all possible realities.

You underestimate the power of knowing everything. It's like me wanting to do something God knows I could do it he also knows what I will do if I change my mind he also knows what will happen if I do it he also knows what will happen if I don't do it. He knows that if I do what I want to do it could affect someone else. He knows how it will affect the person specifically. He knows what the other person needs to do to avoid being affected. He knows that this person might not do it. He knows all actions but leaves you to make the actions. So there's nothing you can do to surprise God he already knows
Then he's not omniscient. Simple.
If he is waiting for me to make a decision before knows the outcome, then he aint omniscient

I pointed out to you that when it comes to religion, your academic acquisition matters a little. Mohammed wrote that sperm comes from the backbone of man. Yet, we still have professors of Biological sciences and related courses that are Muslims. You claimed to have MBBch, what is the meaning of this? Please Please ease explain.

I know a little science by my training and a practicing Christian and I don't see how science has displaced God. I believe you don't understand the concept of Christianity. I speak on behalf of Christianity not other religions.

Do you realise that this your theory of freewill is a total contradiction to the omniscience and omnipotence of the God in the bible?
Free will as you have defined it robs the God of the Bible of his essential characteristics.

Nope it doesn't.

They make it work for them, believing that evolution is an expression of their god's power and the bible is not quite literal.

Every thing is the world is predetermined by God because he knows everything but we don't so he gives us choices we have the free will to choose our choices he already knows what each choice will lead to even before we choose. Then we either reap the benefits of those choices or we suffer.

Nope it doesn't.

I have asked you to explain this your point severally but you keep on repeating the same thing without any proper explanation.
I have shown you several definitions of omniscience, and omnipotence but you have chosen to ignore. I even quoted verses from your religious book that show God has predetermined everything, but you clearly choose to ignore.
This discussion appears to be heading nowhere so I have to opt out.
Cheers.

Wow!
Where have you been?
As I have always told you, delusions like devil, demons, angels, Satan, heaven and hell are non issues to me since I don't believe in them.
I distinctly remember you preaching against the anti covid jab because your pastor preached against it as devilish. Did you finally take the jab? grin
Anastasia, you need to post more often.
Pray, pray, I repeat pray that all you mentioned does not exist for real, because if they do. Hahahahahaha I laugh at you my dear.
And, no, I will never take the jab. Why? I like my DNA unaltered.

As usual your response reeks of ignorance and obstinacy. People like you are so indoctrinated, you are scared to use your brains to question your indoctrination for a second. I wish you well.
