She has no right to ask. That is not within her duty as a nurse. If the patent tells she needs prayer, she should hand the information to her manager.
This is a very big offense in uk. Every year, black nurses keep on getting into this kind of trouble yet they don't listen.
It's just like becoming intimate with your patient after discharge. It's like a taboo. Once a patient, always remain one. You are caught, you may lose your pin.

NMC is not smiling at all.

When doing admissions, can the nurse ask the patients for any spiritual needs or requests for chaplaincy?

Modern western medicine was forged from the principles of Christian charity.

The Red Cross and it's Christian emblem is testament to this.

The universal symbol of modern western medicine is that of a snake wrapped around a staff or a cross which is in reference of Moses healing the Hebrew people by miracle.

The once revered statement by western medicine doctors was once " we treat but God heals".

But western medicine has since lost its past and path after the children of Satan took over the West and began polluting every sacred institution they seized control of.

Jews run the west and they are hell bent on not only destroying it but ridding it of it's Christian herritage.

The only reason modern day Judaism exists is to destroy Christianity.

The greatest oxymoron ever coined was "Christian Zionism" and "Judeo-Christinanity".

1. That universal sign of medicine is known as Rod of Asclepius. Has nothing to do with your fictional Moses.
2. The Red Cross was formed by Henry Dunant, a Swiss with no religious affiliation.
3. The motto 'We treat but God heals' is used solely by African hospitals, and not a universal motto. Africans medics use it for obvious reasons, since we are religious. It doesn't signify that any divine intervention occurs in Africa. If anything, it indicts the supernatural being, god since african healthcare systems are usually found wanting and end up as poor.
4. Judaism is the dominant religion found in Israel. Which religion loves Israel? You guess right! Christianity. Why ?they say its god's own people. So how can god's own people destroy god's own religion?
As you can see, logical reasoning is really a handicap for you

In a situation that patient tells the nurse to pray for him/her nko? Will she still be sacked?

Well, Nigerians and our religious obsession, una don see am nau

No. She was not sacked for praying... but for unsolicited prayer ...she was not asked to pray.... she decided the patient needed prayer . Maybe the patient was a Devil Worshipper.... or an atheist.... and the caretaker was a top rank prayer warrior ... I can imagine the noise and drama.

Yet it is exactly what Moses whose people are iodays isreal did even before the Greeks came to be Greeks.

If you were reasoning at all, you would have seen that Isreal has always been antiGod just lsince God brought them out of Egypt, but no less, as it is a sick person who would need a physician, t is always an antiGod people who will need God

not sure how all these relates to your initial statement of UK not using Christian religion.
not sure what your actual point is, this is all over the place.
even if we overlook that this cock and bull story doesn't state what religion the prayers were made in and focus on Christianity, there's hardly a big hospital you'd visit in Europe that don't have spiritual consultation based on Christianity. the fact this story is purported to happen in the UK NHS already shows this writer up as capping.

Unsolicited prayers in the line of duty is an offence.

If you like, quote scriptures from now till eternity, her appointment has been terminated and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. 💯

The termination of her appointment doesn't change anything. No job appointment on this earth is eternal.

Even your own job appointment (if any) would seize to exist one day on this earth. So, rest! What counts eternally is your service of God!

Lastly, never jump into conversations in which you have no stake. You don't know scriptures, you are feigning to know what "disobedience and arrogance" is.

Don't send a rain on his parade. Let him enjoy his 5 minutes of fame. They think christianity is the problem but actually, the lack of it is the problem as so many has just refused to be disciples of Christ.Roms10:3 is what obtains with Nigerian Christians.

As Christian, We Should knows Our Limits ,There are DO's & DON'Ts In Every Organization, Abide or Quit.
It Serves Her Right

Zeal without knowledge is not good. Christians must act circumspectly.
1 Timothy 5:22
Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

Do not give precious things to folks who do not appreciate them:-

Matthew 7:6
Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Jesus for that reason would usually ask -

John 5:6
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Which is why Wisdom is the principal thing:-
Proverbs 4:7

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding.

Does this mean evangelism is now outlawed in Britain? Soul winning, preaching one on one , street, sharing of banners , posters ,scripts, church invitations etc.

For a Nigerian to leave his /her country to go and share the gospel to someone in united Kingdom is somehow. Nigeria is a country with Muslim/ Muslim ticket, where Christians are continually murdered on very flimsy excuses, the first Lady is a pastor married to a Muslim. The first 10 top seats are occupied by Muslim except senate presidency.

Could it be if it was an American, Canadian, israeli , British or any other country where God values are that prayed for the Lady, the result would have been different.

Even if she was to be american or from. Anada or uk she will also be sacked , in western world they dont like such

Learn to concentrate in discourses. We're talking about that universal sign. The Rod of Aesclepus logo was taken into modern medicine. Not Moses. Those people of Israelites didn’t exist historically. Neither did Moses. So how could the Greeks incorporate stuff from non-existent people?
What's my business with Israel and Yahweh? So if antigod people need god, why do you always prophesy and direct hate and death on those antigod folks?

Ae you a nurse in uk?
Let's start from there so I can tell you where you can get the info.
NMC is still on it but from all indication, the nurse is going to jail as its the family that is suing her. Patient reported her as her prayers agitated her so much her condition escalated and she later died. Nobody told her to pray. Its not shared to the media yet so how did you come about it as what you wrote up there is quite different from the story has you asked me what happened in the first place. Why didn't you ask first. What is wrong with you people here?

More than 2 thousand cases recorded every year don't go mainstream. You can only see them where you are supposed to see them if you are a member or you are a student, the case will be discussed in your class when a lecturer brings it up.
I give up.
This above made no sense atall! grin grin

Just give me the links to the story so i can read for myself, simple! grin if it wasn't reported in the media how did you knew about it? you claimed your lecturer brought it up and you want me to just believe that? Just like that?

If the NMC is still on it (as you said) how then did you conclude that she is going to jail? Are you a member of the NMC decision making? Her families may be suing that doesn't mean she is going to jail, they are just suing. Again, this article claimed that the nurse has already being sacked and deported how does that correlate with all what you wrote above? grin

Yes, give up it would be very convienient.. Some of us on here are not stupid you know?
