brownlord:what do you mean? I just listed my understanding with their decision to declined any debates. Pls can you tell me why its a must for GMB to go into any debate? Is there any law enforced such that may have escaped my mind? |

Oluwadare:No, exactly the way you his follower said no law to have him clear the air on the certificate issue, trust me majority of Nigerians don't even know the truth about this matter, if really he has certificate or not. One would have expected Buhari to demand waec to release the result and not some oluwole stamped photocopied paper released by the school principal. Buhari is not bound by law to go for debate, same way he will tell us he is not bound by law to give account of stewardship if elected. Nigerians be careful the change you seek, libya, egypt etc once shouted change and they got it, now they regretting it. |

This is what I don't like, this is all we'll be hearing till election time. GEJ would be described as some eloquent genius while GMB will be tagged illiterate by GEJ supporters. What's the worse that could happen? GMB will lose the debate. If he loses GEJ supporters will continue with he's an illiterate and GMB supporters will be like "we all know he's not a good orator, it's action that matters" at the end of the day nothing changes. Now if GMB wins then there's absolutely no hope for GEJ again. This is why I feel like APC will have played chicken to see who'll give up first. They should have waited a little bit more for the PDP to say GEJ won't attend because of conflict in schedule. |
| Re: Channelstv Presidential Debate: A.P.C Should Stop Misleading The General by Speedracer001: 5:21pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
GEJ can go ahead and debate the other 12 contestants na…What is stopping him? If the debate is so important to his electoral success. APC has decided to take a pass on the debate. Their loss? Ok. Dont cry more than the bereaved. APC believes they have an election to win and debating GEJ at this time doesn't advance their cause so why debate? Trust me, i expected this move once i saw the momentum was with GMB. Ask yourself why is the man who wouldn't debate in 2011 is now desperate for debate? When you ahead, you don't give your opponent an opportunity to catch up. It is politics! |

babyosisi:I guess you are one of those who mistake oratory prowess for sound knowledge and an abokii as dull because of their intonation. Google and listen to him everywhere he has spoken on national issues and the economy removing your PDP and ethnic lenses to see what he knows and can speak about. This is a former president, PTF chairman and minister of petroleum resources we are talking about who performed meritoriously in all assignments. Bias is like a battery acid, it can kill in minutes. |

Bcacanista,yu got it wrong Cannels tv is d highest biasef tv station that i know. The org have been working on buhari making a brief on ots tv,hence the owner teamed up with apc rogues for buhari to ake a brief on channels tv today.Am not suprised the press has been one organ that benefits from troubles, they will seedy up nigeria divide.Buhari absented from debate on,Nta,Nbc von which are nigerian owned abd one channels feels its better in its place, what a divide and enmity creation method. All said and done, to me buhari has not been proved qualified to contest presidenial election hence should not even appear for debate anywhere untill pronounced qualified. Those organising d debate err by inviting him,to e they are partisan. In another dev, what can a drop out like buhari debate with phd holder,d result is clear,he will only fumble hence d boycut to save face.Buhari show your certificate. |

Channels tv is biased and an appendage of apc.Why take up,the brief by buhari instwad of nationally owned nta, von, nbc? If buhari cannot debate on nationally owned institution, channels need not encourage him on its tv.This is how d press go abot causing division and enemity among people.Again buhari ave a brief instead of debating with others and some people are claping and smiling. It was planned for Wed 3 Feb why do it 2Feb? Bird of d sae feather flock togeher.Let buhari show us his credentials if has it.Recommendtion from principal is nt certificate, daunce buhari.Buhari is afraid to face Jonathan in a debate hence d boycut.Olodo |
