Fashola practically neglected akowonjo axis, you can't go to that axis during rainy season. Idimu, ikotun, ejigbo, egbeda etc aren't liveable at all.

NB: Lagos state needs a change to expose the damage APC has done to its financial framework(but APC pretending to be messiahs). While secretly and openly enriching themselves !!!

The rain is an act of God.the government can't stop rain, they can only cushion the effect of flooding.going by what I hear about my governor and his party, they would be on the task soon.take heart, people.
Please stop accusing God for send the rain ( God is not a destroyer , he is 100 percent good , stop attributing bad stuff to God , this is clearly human error or lack of foresight )..Rain is Natural a gift from God , you and fashola should have thought of providing drainage for the street BEFORE THE RAIN CAME , clueless people and clueless GOVT

These areas you mentioned are obviously not voting for the APC because the suffering over there is unbearable for the people. INEC should ensure that voters in those areas are not disenfranchised through non-availability of their PVCs and let us now see how APC will get votes in those areas. This is the end of the APC reign in Lagos because Jimi Agbaje is coming.

Akowonjo have always been experiencing flooding since time immemorial. it's not that there are no drainages there. It's either the drainages are not well channeled or the people living in that area always throw dirts in the gutters that blocks the flow of water.

Thank you.

Exactly the same in my area!

I know this hood, it not the government but the rate at which all the drainage's in the area a packed with dirt's ET all. Even shops have been constructed on drainage's.

If government starts to demolish all the illegal structures, am sure we will be the first to open our mouths that the government is bad when the effect is this flood.

What i don't understand is 30mins of rain makes the area flooded but come back one hour later, the water would have disappear.

Are you being intentionally contentious here? Do the residents of New York experience regular flooding? Please go and tell this to the makers of flood barriers.
