lanrayx:For paper application, yes. In fact, they won't collect any original documents that is not addressed to them, passport, or admission letter. |

ebimarian:When you mean well, some will just turn it to something else. I am 50-70% sure that you are a dumb female or reason like one. The second case is bad cos it 90% mean you have lost your balls. |

michV:Seconded. No matter the detailed posts put up here, some funny questions will still pop up... May be there should be a pop up blocker somewhere to handle such questions..lol On a serious note, this trend will keep repeating itself until peeps dedicate their time to read through previous posts and become gurus on their own. |

hello @ everyone I recently applied to University of Alberta for an MSc course. I completed the application since 29 December 2016 although the deadline is 1 April, 2017. I was only able to get the link to a website provided by the school to monitor my application progress yesterday. I discovered that they are still waiting for references from my referee. I have been in touch with my academic referees and every time i talked to them, they said they havent received any mail from the school. They also said that the institutional mail server is not reliable and sometimes they dont get the emails sent to them. Immediately, i wrote the school of Graduate studies that they should resend the requests to them. I hope this delay has not in anyway affected my application, given that the school's deadline is still April 1 and i submitted mine since last year december. I know they must have started the pre-screening process, but my thoughts were if they needed anything concerning the screening process that i hadn't provided, they would contact me. I never got any mail from them. The department is highly competitive cos they give scholarship to all admitted students. I pray i havent messed things up. Is there anyone who has experienced something like this before, and especially, with university of Alberta, pls share your experience. Thanks. |

thanks so much bro. hope i quoted u well.

Apparently a PhD is appropriate in the circumstance. It is generally regarded as an academic progression over Master's degree. While a PGD is an academic regression when you already bagged a Master's degree. |

May just put in for that now, hoping to get higher score in the English LANGUAGE proficiency exam or maybe get married to meet up. Thanks so much brother. Respect Osemigho: |

Jerryzone:Ha! Biko o what could be so urgent? Did CIC tell you to give me my PR card already? Lol. Anywhere, Just as i mentioned in the post you quoted, It's always good we share our concerns and issues here so others can benefit from the advise/solution that will be given. You can PM me however but if it still bothers around all that have been discussed here, I MAY still advise that you read through previous posts, you will surely find pending answers. |

Hello House, Please will Canadain consulate find out if I declare only National diploma in statistics and withhold my bsc and Msc degree since I am going there to study diploma in social work? I finished my ND, statistics in 2008. Will it be fine if I tell them I don't have any other qualification other than ND? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Osemigho: 10:27pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
obaxlove:So, what will you claim you have been doing for 9 years? Better put that diploma admission somewhere and get better MSC/PhD admission or you explore Express Entry route. |
