God made all tins and saw that it was good,Religon likewise.. How did u even know tins that are MORALLY upright if U don't know God.. Law can always give u scenarios and circumstances that maketh a man's deed right in any way.. If U are an Atheist, is between u and what U believe.. I and my family will serve the living God and I will let him judge as it is solely in his power to do so.

My wife was a theist initially. She worked in the church and even preached in buses.

But then when I finally dumped god in the trash bin, we had discussions and debate and today she has also dumped the idea.

Not everyone can handle the reality check that comes with non belief

Meaning that what she experienced with God wasn't real? My bro her antennae for perceiving God got broken by you.the signal of God's existence is still broadcasting real time and available to those with faith.the fact that God is dead to you doesn't mean that he stops existing.he still lives despite your unbelief.you must first believe he exists before you can see him.otherwise, its impossible.he lives,that I know.

It is not about being Christian or not, it is all about being morally upright

That is what I always tell people. Even if God no dey exist, there is no reason not to believe He does because I have nothing to loose in the end. Besides, the existence of God is even African in that Ifa traditional religion believes in it.

If God doesn't exist and I believe in Him, I have nothing to loose at the end of everything: will I have opportunity to again to change my mind if He truly exists at the end of the day?

Nobody is normally upright because all have sinned. In other words, it is either you have sinned, you are living in sin or about to sin. Besides, he who breaks a rule breaks all.

So, we need to connect to the throne of mercy through Christ.

Simple...Believe in GOD cos he truly exists anyways.

I can cope with a Muslim or traditional believer but an Atheist will be a hard one and if I ever date such it will be with the hope of converting her.

Many Atheist secretly fear the possible existence of GOD but they keep fighting it until they die and find themselves face to face with the truth while those who have the chance usually accept God's existence at the point of death.

Well, sounds like you want to "convert" her to your belief system

If you really like her, you could be open minded with her.

You could talk things over with her. Find out what she really thinks of "atheism".

Clarify your beliefs. Have an enlightened conversation with her. Try and understand where she's coming from.

Bottom line is: you cannot "make" anyone love you. That's their choice. But at least be very clear with each other.

Love, fairness, forgiveness etc are qualities that are naturally part of every human. Parts of the brain control all these things.
