If it happens for 250 million years, why not be patient and live another 250 million years before you can conclude evolution stopped?
250 million years is not 250 seconds so don't expect to see evolutiom changes by the second, daily or even annually or in centuries!

God is self sustaining. He's uncreated cause he's outside the boundaries of space-time for him to be created.
