Her pushy mum started insisting "take her abroad, you guys can fix it there". Doh!
Love is not always enough. Such a mum can use her daughter against you in marriage.

This same guy stole my phone, I didn't know till the next semester, I confronted him with my glaring evidence, but he was too ashamed too admit it, I knew he did it, but forgave him in my mind. Ever since we still have been close friends, even closer than before.

If i meet a girl i like and I fall in love, no matter what she has (done), though she may have willingly hid it from me, because of the fondness and love i have for her hitherto, like my friend, i will willingly forgive her. The question is, aside her hiding her past is she a good person, is she loving, is she patient, caring and gentle, does she have compassion and humility. If yes, why throw the baby with the bath water?
