like i said earlier it is biblical , we accepted the 10 commandments that God gave to the Israelite and after that God gave laws to the Israelite about how to worship him and serve him , part of those religious laws given to the Israelite was tithing .
now the basic logical argument is , if we neglect the law of tithing then we might as well neglect the 10 commandments as well .
i support daddy freeze on the issue of christian pastors flamboyant lifestyle and not helping the poor , even i find it hard to say but the truth is many Pentecostal churches hardly preach about giving to the needy , they have made their members to believe that giving to them the pastors is the only channel og getting Gods blessings , that is why you see ppl pass by beggars and poor people on the street without giving them 1 naira all because the 200k naira in their pocket they want to give it to their pastors .

I guess you miss the part I said "he barely speaks"
I'm not against anyone paying his/her tithes, what I'm against is the constant preaching about it like is the only criteria to God's blessings. I never said Jesus came to abolished any law, Jesus didn't came to earth to preach about tithes and while he was leaving... the primary assignment he gave his disciples was to go into the earth and spread the gospel, "not gospel about tithes" but about salvation.
can you give me up to 10 bible verses in the New Testament about Jesus or the early apostles talking about tithes? but I can give you a hundred bible verses the preach about salvation.
