The issue is the manner of approach of both the mother and daughter. It's not your house. Some families live in a single room and make love when they think their children are "sleeping".

His mother inlaw should show some maturity. If the marriage breaks up because of this, her daughter would put the blame on her.

To avoid issues.. Take your wife out and have the best time of your life.. It wasn't stipulated anywhere in the constitution that your house will be the only place for you to copulate. There are nice places you could do that with your wife or whenever your MIL is not around, you can utilize the opportunity. You have sooo many exciting options you know Either you bring the bed down, or make use of the bathroom /kitchen or you go out with your wife. before you know it, 2months will elapse

I'm happily married with two young kids ages 2 and 4. We stay in a 2-bedroom apartment and usually leave the connecting door ajar so that if the kids wake up during the night they may have access to our room to seek comfort, which is very frequent especially during these noisy thunder storms.

My problem started with the arrival of my mother-in-law, less than a week ago to spend 2 months. Of course, she sleeps with her grand kids in their room.

This doesn’t stop them from frequenting our room during the night, so the door is still left ajar. Much to my amazement, my wife has now told me that she will no longer allow us to copulate during the time her mother is with us. She said her mum scolded her and feels we are rude to engage in lovemaking knowing fully well that she is in the adjoining room.

My wife has always feared her mum so it is impossible for me to convince her that this is her house, not her mum’s. I don’t see myself going one week without sex, talk less of 2 months! Is it my fault that the bed creaks or that my wife has to make noise at her height of ecstasy?

I feel that my mother-in-law is being very intrusive and insensitive and I’m prepared to talk to her and ask her to leave if she insists on tormenting my wife, but I know that my wife won’t find it funny at all.

Some have mentioned growing up with fuqing parents in the room, please tell if you did not cover your ears and make out you were sleeping while they were fuqing? I guess you want your MiL to do the same and cover her ears and make out she can't hear you and her daughter fuqing because it's your house and she must respect you? If the daughter had been brought up well she would not have been fuqing where her mother would hear her and would have better arranged her fuqing to ensure she and her husband were satisfied. Would she wait for her MiL to tell her off when she visits? Even her own children should not be hearing her fuqing not to talk of her own mother. Or did she ever hear her own father and mother fuqing? Her respect for herself should have made her fuq in private.

The MiL must have been a bad mother is what I think, and it shows in the very timid action she took. A proper mother would have marched into the room where her daughter and her husband were fuqing and pulled her daughter's ears where she was fuqing and very sternly asked her daughter if she had been such a bad mother to her that she feels the need to be fuqed where it would disturb her! "If you husband's mother was in the next room is this how you will disgrace me by making it seem like I never trained you"! The effect of such an approach while her husband's fuq is fuqing her will remind her to respect herself a lot more than she currently does forever. The sternest look of "don't you have respect for your mother?" directed at her SiL as she left the room would increase your respect for her too.

What you said makes a lot of sense.

In one of my posts, I complained of the manner of approach. It's either the MIL's or daughter's fault. If the mother told her like a mother that it's improper for her to be causing nuisance when making love and the woman transmitted it to the husband in the proper way, we won't be here.

Let her husband understand the reason behind. He's probably feeling the MIL is being unnecessarily unreasonable and domineering.

His wife can go: ' Sweetheart, mama said she could hear us yesterday while we were making love. She didn't think it was dignifying , especially to us. Sex is supposed to be a very intimate or private matter"

Husband: 'So what are you suggesting?'

Wife:' "I will feel very self conscious anytime we make love if she's around. I won't enjoy it at all. I'll be very frigid in bed.

Husband: "Okay then. If you don't want your mum to hear it. let us go outside behind the bus stop to do it there. She can't hear us from there"? Or she get super hearing?

Wife:" No be only outside. I have a better idea. We should do it in her room when she's with her pastor.. Sweetheart, lests be serious what can we do".
