truthsayer009: no, the thing i was trying to point out is that if the lady has the time to spend one full week with her man in dubai just to keep the man company while he does his business, it means she CANNOT have 10m naira of her own, at all! 7 Likes |

Markets?I mean companies. All those guys claiming executives have you bothered to ask them where they work? The only businesses that can thrive in abuja are businesses that sell food or some other basic needs. The only coys to work in abuja are either banks, nnpc or govt parastatals/ministries. Sadly, majority of the guys that work in the last two are northerners so if you meet a guy in abuja and he's not a banker nor is gainfully employed in a govt agency please run! Btw, what's wrong with being a farmer? Three 4 years ago I used to do poultry farming as a side hustle and I made at least 150k ler month as profit until I didnt have time to visit the farm every week cos of work and my employees started stealing from my farm. I had to shut it down. I plan to restart farming again next year. uboma: 7 Likes 1 Share |

[quote author=Olamsoh post=82349203]A friend of a family friend was scammed with such ingenuity. These Island guys (like 3) would rent an apartment. Share a big ride. They know their target market. They pick you out with good convo and financial distractions. Within a week of talking, the guy would invite you to join him on his week long business trip to Dubai. In Dubai, he would give you money to shop daily while he goes for his "business meeting" In your mind, you are having the time of your life. On due date, you return to 9ja. He will probably take you to another trip to S/Africa. Rinse & repeat. 1 month later, he would make a wonderful call in your presence where business would crumble or he need a huge sum to sort out something. His mood changes & in your sympathy, you offer to help loving boyfriend. That is how, he will collect 10/15 million from you. You have seen him discuss business and hustle nd taken you on holidays so you think he is real. He probably spent 3 million on you. Now he is a profit of 13 million. When next you visit, you will see another guy in the house..[/quote. Quite agree with u. But sounds like one of these nollywood script 2 Likes |

smeag0l: My brother, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being a farmer. I do some side farming too asides from my regular job. However there are some materialistic ladies who will loose interest in you the minute you inform them that you are a full time Farmer. 1 Like |

Mypeople2:i am shocked too and funny enough I am in Abuja. A Nigeria lady giving a guy 100k is strange to me, but honestly I don't know were these girls jam guys like that. Maybe it is because of my social circle and other activities that I am hearing this for the first time. |

Of course I know. But how many companies are in abuja? Majority are, at best, small start ups or minuscule branches of big companies that are there just to keep a presence close to the country's capital. Bizibi: |

Yeah, but the fact is that those companies only maintain an office in abuja just to fulfil government regulations and also be close to the government of the day. However, they keep only very very few employees in those kind of offices because it's just an administrative or government relations office most big coys in nigeria maintain in abuja. Bizibi: |
