I moved to a new location and Discovered that electricity here is like gold. Then my generator decided to resign.

Am presently making arrangements so that updates can be constant again.

SASSY AND SLAYING: DIARY OF A SINGLE NAIJA BABE
Episode 13


Dear Diary,

10th February 2016.


It’s a Thursday night. I am in my apartment, sitting in front of the television and waiting for a much expected movie to start. There is no electricity, thanks to NEPA or PHCN or whatever they call themselves these days. But, my generator is on and running smoothly. Thank God I bought extra fuel during the week.

While I walked home from work this evening, I bought suya from the Mallam down the street. I had some crunchy garri at home and to me, that was the combination of a blissful dinner. I was too tired to cook today. I had a very tiring day at work. I hope tomorrow will be better.

Let me gist you about my day, diary. Clara and Benson are forming ‘Love in Tokyo’ in the office, to the extent that Steve had to call me aside and asked what happened between Benson and me. The guy said he thought things were moving smoothly between us and he was rooting for us to join him as the next married couple in the office.

I didn’t want to bring up Korede’s issue. This was already a closed case in the office and I would be working against the company if I spill the beans to another soul. I didn’t want to be at loggerheads with my bosses.

Steve said he had spoken to Benson earlier and can you imagine what that nitwit told him? Benson told Steve that I wasn’t the woman he thought I was. Look at this church rat o! Did they fry akara and puff puff on top Benson’s head last night? Can you imagine the rubbish he was spewing? Benson is not well. I swear! His brain is malfunctioning big time. And the earlier he is transferred to some remote part of the country, the better for everybody. I am tired of seeing his break-light in the office. He should just do and go.

I found a way to dismiss Steve and assured him that I was fine with Benson and Clara’s relationship. Even though I wasn’t. What will I do now?

Unfortunately, I ran into Mr.Nosa on my way back from the cafeteria. He pulled me into his office and showed me my double promotion letter! It was signed and sealed! I also saw Mrs. Nkiruka’s transfer letter to Port Harcourt!

This man wasn’t joking after all. I must confess, I was somewhat happy. Mr. Nosa drew me close, congratulating me as the new General Manager of Skylight Properties, effective the next few weeks. That is, as soon as Mrs. Nkiruka handed over. His hands cradled my back, and then moved down to my buttocks. I tried to remain still. I told my brain to process everything happening slowly, least I push the man away and slap him.

Right there and then, Mr. Nosa pulled off my cream jacket and threw it on the chair. What did this man think he was doing? He lifted my white tube blouse and unhooked my bra like a pro. My coconuts were set free out of the satin cage, free for him to plunder and do as he pleased.

Oh God! This was the price I had to pay for my double promotion. I started to fight myself within. I wanted to leave this man’s office. I didn’t want his old hands on my body. But, I remained there, like a sacrificial lamb. I started to distract myself, thinking about my double promotion and everything that comes with it.

Mr. Nosa swallowed one of my coconuts like a hungry dog and squashed the other as if it was made of foam! I winced in pain. It was hard to keep still. The next thing that happened came as a surprised o.

Hmmm… oh diary. I don’t even know how to write this. Can you imagine this retired he-goat? This... this useless excuse of a man... He slipped his hand into... Oh my gosh...

He slipped his hand into my underwear. What did he think he was doing? I have really suffered. I just wanted the whole shebang over and done with. Slam! Bang! Wham! Why was he playing with my honey pot? I started to protest and he begged me to just indulge him till he was done. Done as in how Mr. Nosa?!

He turned me around and made me bend over his table. I closed my eyes, waiting for what is to come. When was the last time I had someone’s cucumber in my buttocks? Can’t remember. Don’t even want to remember.

His fingers came back right back, sliding into my wetness again. Deeper and deeper until it began to hurt! I was going to protest again when he drove his cucumber into my tight hole! He rammed the thing in, riding me like I was a horse. He grabbed my coconuts, squeezing and slamming into me at the same time.

I can’t still remember the last time I was taken from behind. I was tight down there and the tightness excited him. He was at it for over the next few minutes.
When I tried to get up, he pressed my head to the table, making it impossible for me to move. When he was finally done, he staggered away.

When I turned around, I saw him pulling off a condom from his wretched cucumber. I sighed with relief, because at least, he wore a rain coat.

Sitting here, writing all these down, while the movie I was waiting got started. I don’t know what to think of myself. What do you call me diary? Was it worth it? Was it worth it at all? I am no different from those girls who sold their bodies for cash or whatever their heart’s desired. I am no different at all because I gave my body to a dog so I could get a double promotion.

I hope I made the right call. I hope I am not going to regret this in the nearest future. I hope that everything will work out according to plan.

Got to go diary. Need to watch my movie now.
