You could be wrong too. I got a job as a non academic staff in one of the federal universities early last year. The APL was actually sent via courier service to me because I wasn't around the school at that time, while some of my colleagues had to visit the school to collect theirs.

If by "move on" u're hoping that many of us will get alternatives and give up on NNPC so that u contract staff ppl can say "even the candidates are no longer interested" e no go work!

NNPC as with every other MDA always has backdoor entry. The GMD could exercise powers too recruit off plan especially for TAs and SAs that work directly under his purview (besides, are you telling me if Buhari unexpectedly decides to personally endorse CV of a candidate via Kyari today, are you telling me GMD will tell the person to wait until after court case for APL - is he,MKK) mad ni?

I personally know one or two who got into the corporation during Kachichukwu tenor as GMD and not at any tiny supervisor/officer level for that matter. These people got in at Managerial levels even with little or no industry experience or attending the mandatory chief officers course that NNPC staff must attend and pass before your break into Deputy Manager cadre where your life changes for better with the kind of pay you get ( a lot of people within the system frowned at this and was one of the reasons the union and staff generally disliked Kachikwu despite laying some foundation of transparency and accountability we see in the NNPC today eg monthly account publications etc). Some of these Kachikwu hires are still there though i heard some of them were immediately relieved shortly after his departure as MoS. It will always happen. The risk with those who enter through those sort of off-cycle recruitment doors is that the next guy comes in or somebody chooses not to like you, all they need to do is petition your staff file for review /audit and next thing you be waiting tables at Mr Biggs. Anything from even your first school leaving certificate, declaration of age to even your NYSC certificate or fact that you dont have immunization certificate sef would be scrutinized and used to make a strong case for eviction!

A mass recruitment which goes through several layers of internal and external approval bureaucracies is the surest bet in terms of job security(even if any games has to be played to sneak people in plus create ghost workers sef is best done under such windows like this)

So you are correct, people have joined NNPC since this process started and will continue to join but your guess is as good as mine if they and their sponsors would not be smart enough to do a clinical job with putting in place all the filing and paper work from start to finish.

The last APL from a general recruitment was in 2012... No organization can survive this long without people sneaking in through the backdoor.

The last recruitment exercise took 2 years before completion...That's a recruitment without a court case....

I wonder why its only two or three people (balher, muhamm3d) that are still peddling court case. Even Darado who has been shouting court case since last year recently got some good news. Even Jarus mentioned that the court case is not a factor the last time. Its highly possible that the case has been settled out of court.

Its clear the court peddlers are either outdated or misinformed. I am even ashamed of those who are waiting for the outcome of the court case and still totally believing that APL will be out before 1st quarter 2020 knowing fully well how adjournments take a long time in this country. (The case started on 17th Oct adjourned to 29th October, later adjourned to 4th Nov and then 6th Nov. It was heard on 22nd Nov before it was moved to 14th Feb 2020 which is valentines day)

Balher has not said anything credible for me to believe. I wont be gullible to believe pictures and garnished words that are not concrete or convincing..

Muhamm3d has been dishing bad news since last year. I think people should stop quoting or responding to him. I dont think he applied for this recruitment.
