The previous occupier of that room might have been complaining to the woman but fell on deaf hear hence,the reasoning for the vacant room that you now occupied. Guy you shouldnt have pour hot water you suppose to inform the owner to care tor her goats. Take your landlord along or someone to beg her

Next time though, make use of your words by talking to your neighbor instead of overreacting by pouring hot water on an innocent goat.

Tell her you did it, but that it was a mistake as your intention was simply to scare the animal away.

So the other day, I poured some hot water on one of the goats. I discovered that the woman is into traditional medicine. She has been making some incantations since yesterday concerning the goat. And I am scared that she will hurt me.

Should I confess or be brave? What should I do?

Since the did has been done already, confessing to her is paramount. And also promise to pay for the goat if the woman request it. Otherwise join a mountain of fire. Peace.

Forget words, which innocent goats, which overreaction and which fuckìng mistake?
The only thing that will work is to learn to live with it. Or start counting your days to exit that place.
My point is that, such people don't shift grounds if you only rely on talking. That probably is the reason why the previous tenant left.
But funny tho. Which kind apartment wey goat and human de share boundary

Why did you hurt an animal? They don't know anything. The solution to keep them away was to look for some thorns or branches of tree layer at the backyard.

Just apologise please. Not because of the woman but the goat. You will discover that the wounded goat will still come there.

During my NYSC there is this particular goat that always comes into the corpers lodge, infact if you mistakenly leave ur door open, e go enter ur room. na so one Sunday morning, d goat came spoil our food. We caught it, slaughtered it & enjoy some nice peper soap. Not only did owner do spiritual bullshyt, he even bought police but thier is no evidence to prove it to the police. And all the corpers refused to be intimidated. Na so d owner learn him lesson grin

Personally I even eat people's chicken when they come into my area to disturb me. But that's me

Did you kill the goat on the process? If not you can still redeem yourself. Depite the fact that you did a very wrong thing. You should be bold enough to apologise to the woman. Native thing or not.

It's naturally unwholesome for one to be cruel to non dangerous animal. This domestic animals need human compassion as well.

That said you should hastely approach the lady and tell her everything adding that you regret your actions. Bros let me tell you a personal experience growing up. A certain woman broke the leg of my uncle's goat intentionally...our uncle summoned us all to be sure none of us did it afterwards just 4days latter, we stood in awe as our uncle raised the goat skywards leaving potent words in the air! (He is not a traditionist oo) the goat was banished from the compound thereafter... Just 3 months down the line the woman who has since parked out of the compound became lame and can't just walk for inexplicable reason. After several medical attempt that defile solution, she went native and was told that she broke someone's goat leg. She must trace the owners and confess. That was be the solution. A word is enough for the wise.

If you want to hear the truth, I will advise you go to her privately, lie down and tell her to forgive you. Tell her you did it out of anger and that you didn't even know that the goats are own by someone around that you thought the goats are not from within and only sleep where they find conducive at night.
Be brave to face her outburst that will later leads to forgiven you rather than being brave to accept the curses. You wronged her out of anger and the rule that says those who seek equity must come to equity with clean hands applies in religion and tradition. That is my believe and it has been guiding me. Before you listen to those hypocrites that are telling you to pray or worship God in truth, ask yourself first whether God is in support of what you did to the animal.

Pluse992 here is another idea, catch the goat, then take pure water leather( 'The big one way them gather water inside) tie it with rope on the goats tail. And just enjoy the show. Am telling you, it's wonderful.

First what you did is cruel to both man and animal, and should be condemned in every possible strong term. You need to learn tolerance and communication.

That said, to be brave is to meet the woman in the middle of her incantations and say "Mama, stop that nonsense!. Stop wasting your time and energy. I did it because I warned you repeatedly. I have been looking for the appropriate time to tell you. Please don't disturb yourself again. If you have 100 goats and you don't control them around my place I will do it again!"

That is the brave thing to do. Otherwise, you will live in perpetual fear. Even when you have headache, you will attribute it to the woman's incantations.

She will shout, she will rant, she will fuss and swear, but everyone will respect you and your space.
