I had a bestie one time before we fell out right around my marriage. Her friend was my girlfriend but when I broke up with her friend, she was the only girl around me. We spent time so much and she told me things I didn't need to know. I wrestled myself to not make her my girlfriend. I felt she was gonna be game but the risk of losing my only female bestie did not let me bring emotions into the picture. It's very possible, at first, it depend on the understanding between both of you, there are decent girls out there who are in serious relationship but still have a male friend as her bestie nothing else attached.
