This is a very good analogy, Body, soul and spirit they are all me but they are not the same.

The body, soul, and spirit in this case represent the distinct centre of consciousness of God.
Unlike we humans that only have centre of consciousness, God has three making God three persons or individuals in one being or one being in three individuals.

Actually the closest illustration of Trinity I know is the Trinity of man where there seem to be a correspondence with The Father (Soul of man), the Son (Body of man) and the Holy Spirit (spirit of man).

*The Father in His capacity Wills/Decides things to be,
*The Word in His capacity Commands/Speaks the Will of the Father and
*The Holy Spirit in His capacity Powers things into existence the Spoken Word/Command of the Word which is in turn representing the WILL of the Father

No wonder, man was created as a Trinity (in the image of God)!
