Depression is most times not a illness itself but a symtoms of many critial illnesses such as Cancer, bipolar and other chronic conditions. Although, in some cases, people just deal with depression but a good psychologist should be able to determine the underlying condition triggering depression.

It is so sad, that till this moment, there is no known cure for depression only short term drugs to help patients feel better.

Depression is what i have being battling since my undergraduate day's, I had some suicidal thoughts time's without number at a point in time I have finalised my mind to risk it all, but I was lucky to have involved my frnds nd my dad they reignited the hope in me, my very good friend gave me life changing advice which I heeded to that time sad thing is I'm still yet to get off it
.I hate my self, I feel miserable in life nd obviously still fighting this battle I'm still yet to be myself....
One thing I learnt is not everybody really knows what Depression is or how it feels like, not everyone will know the struggles you are passing through so know who to talk about your self to, know who express your self to cause....wallhi some don't really care or may just make fun of you

Look at the way he was playing with figures of speech; I mean he confident, smart and intelligent. In all, when a mind is made, nothing can change it. Another talent gone due to depression. One of the ways of battling depression is involving in ngo activities, welfare activities, actively and physically involved in help activities pertaining to missions, motivational and ministerial activities, emigrating to areas of needs, help and people who also share your pain.

Depression is grossly deadly most of the time without symptoms.

No matter how dangerous and deadly it may seem, its solution has never rest with suicide but assuring hope in the Lord Almighty.

Obviously, headache can and will never be cured by cutting off the head itself.

It takes an extra extra STRENGTH not HOPE to live and survive in Nigeria on daily basis. You hardly wake up to hear good news. Isn't that alone psychologically disturbing?
