the last time I'll have sex

the last time I'll laugh

the last time I'll cry

the last time I'll hear a Michael Jackson song

the last time I'll visit my hometown

the last time I'll play a videogame

the last time I'll play football

the last time I'll visit the gym

the list goes on and on about things that are so common in my life that I've taken many of them for granted



these "fears" became worse when I became an atheist cuz I don't think there's another life where I'll do those things after I'm dead


there was a time this fear was so crippling that it'll overwhelm me


later though it became better, I realised life is to be lived once so I started doing those things as though it were my last time doing them

I now enjoy every pounded yam and edikaikong soup as though I ain't gonna eat it again

I smile at loved ones and neighbours as though it might be the last time I'll see them

I laugh as though I'm gonna be dead minutes later

I watch Real Madrid as though I'll never watch them again, celebrate each goal as though I won't have that chance again

I have sex as though it were my last cuz it could be

I visit my hometowns (both in Nigeria and Norway) visit their monuments, learn more about their history and myths cuz each visit might be my last

I play and enjoy my favourite MJ songs as though I'll never hear it again



these made me even enjoy those activities more because I no longer take such things for granted

In this Nigeria, an average Southerner is a weakling. A born coward with serious complex issues. A fool and an idiot. A slave. A typical example of a butterfly who thinks himself a bird. But this is not even the problem. The biggest problem is, he doesn't even realise he is any of those things.

The only thing an average Southerner is good at is blowing high sounding grammar and acquiring degrees upon degrees but when it comes to things that matter most, he goes to slumber.

An average Southerner has this twisted mindset that the best way to be seen as a patriotic and detribalised Nigerian is by degrading, shaming and disparaging his own tribe for no just cause.

Abacha stole this country blind, such that 20 years after, his loot is still being returned to the country. But in spite of this, people like Buhari publicly swore that he (Abacha) stole nothing. But to an average Southern idiot, Jonathan's 5 year rule is the reason we have no fuel, no light, no good educational system, no nothing! Jonathan is the worst thief in Nigeria's history. IBB, Abdulsalam and even Buhari who was accused of stealing billions of dollars as PTF boss were all saints. Why? Because they are Northerners.

Was it not a southern he-goat named Obasanjo who publicly accused Jonathan of training snipers in Pyongyang (North Korea) ahead of last year's election?? He made the unfounded allegation just to please his masters upnorth. Now that we have the highest figure of senseless deaths of civilians in the hands of both state and non state actors under a Northern president Buhari, have you read any letter from OBJ??

I don't think you understand my destination. I'm saying the evidence that the missing line showed the certificate was doctored is not true because the same line missing in his was also missing in mine and the reason is not far fetched.
The certificates must have been produced in batches so that it can be used for different years. I'm not a fan of half-baked journalism and have stated on numerous occasions.

Yes! 3rd class graduates can apply for masters degrees, enrol for pre masters or post graduate courses even to schools abroad! Sometimes all the school requires is a small display of your ability to comprehend and write materials related to the curriculum you are applying to study for! A degree is not a true determinant of an individuals brilliance and everyone knows our educational system is _fucked and the class of degree may not reflect an individuals true academic ability and unless you have been living under a rock somewhere on mars, in naija even with NO CLASS you can get a great job and also end up in influential positions with the right connects! This is not the USA!
