Health › Re: Trying To Get Tested For Coronavirus By NCDC In Abuja: An Experience by Powersurge: 8:29am On Mar 30, 2020 |
JamParkMe: That person seeking a test right now is an unserious fellow. They are only testing those with symptoms such as fever, cough and body aches who may have been exposed to an infected person. There are very limited number of testing kits to go around, so yes of course screening is selective. Even in America and Europe, they are only testing people with symptoms, so why did your friend think he can just get tested like that? The way some people sound on this forum baffles me. Unfortunately, over 100 people liked this. So simple explanation of the protocol wouldn't suffice? B4 someone who is schooled and resides in planet Earth decided to go for test, do you think he does not have cause? Who told you people are doing selective testing in UK and US? If you have reasons to be tested (which will be confirmed by a doctor who would professionally discuss with you), you will be tested. B4 someone will go through all these rigors just to get tested, do you think he is so jobless? Why is NCDC accusing Nigerians of not coming forth? Is there a higher level of unprofessionalism than the one displayed by these health officials? |
Romance › Re: We Love Each Other But He Stays In One Room by Powersurge: 4:44pm On Mar 29, 2020 |
LadyBeee: Since I started dating, I've never met a man like this. So caring, cute, neat, hygienic, generous but unfortunately, he doesn't have much but the little he has, he'll spend on you and make you feel like a queen.
He stays in one room face me I face u. Initially, when I found out, I said I was going to quit but the love he showed me was so overwhelming and I couldn't quit. He said he's making plans to move out and he won't be renewing his rent in may. I agreed.
I fell in love with him too and became comfortable with his room but I made it clear that I will never pass the night at his place. You know how love can be blind, I found myself pass the night once and again and again then I asked him about his plans to move out, how much does he have at hand to rent a new place because I was secretly planning to support him with some money to add and he said he doesn't have up to 30k. I was angry and so dissapointed at him.
Right now I'm thinking the whole thing over. I don't think I can continue. Please advise me
Photo for illustration Speaking as a man to ANYONE: I learnt LONG time ago not to put anyone at a tight corner for my sake. If I discovered that I like you a lot, I will lay all the options on the table and ask you to make your decision. Afterwards, I will never try to convince you about your choice. And I will not be angry with you. I just move and face the future squarely. If I don't care about you, I will just allow you to make your damn decision without letting you in on the vital information. I discovered everything in life is a risk. Marrying a pauper is a risk. Marrying a rich person is a risk- because he could become a pauper one day. I want to believe you are an adult. If you feel his "status" does not match yours, sister move on. If you think he can forge ahead in life, stay. |

seankafor: only your bank details can not expose you to such troubles you mentioned above.
Why will someone wire stolen money to unknown account? It's only when you reveal sensitive infos like bvn,and credit card details you will be exposed to such troubles I am amazed that over 50 people liked your comments. I have one account with Bank PHB then. B4 it metamorphosed into it's new names. I had changed my mobile number. Hence I did not receive alert on that account. because I did not use it for anything. It remained dormant for years. However, I receive notification via my old email. One day, I was receiving notifications in successions. Monies were moved in and out of my account in successions. I received about 10-20 notifications within about 5 minutes. I did not bother. And I did not go to the bank to complain. because the account was not useful to me. |

It becomes imperative to disclose in this case. Obviously the state does not have means of getting to know the people that she has been in contact with. Hence the reason for the disclosure. So that people who she has been in contact with can isolate themselves. |

delishpot: True talk. No sign of military vehicles there. I would expect to see damaged military cars escorting the one with the explosive. Even the one carrying the device that exploded is not there. The crater is clean and debris free. How can an explosive burry the vehicle underground? When it's not a sinkhole that swallowed it. I am beginning to look at this thing with corner eye. I am just wondering how explosive that divided road into two and destroyed buildings will not lead to the death if all the so called people that were trying to stop the explosion. |

Doing such doesn't make you a fool--It's common sense. You can as well take advise from Shekau about CoViD-19. Is like an Imam supporting terrorist and preaching that his religion is a religion of peace. Sometimes the message is as valuable as the conveyor. |

Kayceenaz: Two wrongs never make a right! That derogatory word was needless. Na your own be that. Anybody that thinks government is meant to fly around and do nothing tangible deserves whatever he gets. Buhari is worse president in history. Worse than Abacha. Now I see why he was quickly removed as head 9f state. No iota of idea in him. Do the right thing and NIgerians praise you. Do otherwise and get a backlash. I have never seen a time when anybody from outside NIgeria attack NIgerians without people defending. Come and see how people are supporting ImamofPeace on Twitter. I understand that most people that voted for Buhari are illiterates. But I am appalled that literate people could support the monumental failure for second term. |

If so, then the relevant authorities are mediocre for not doing the needful owing to the fact that America is red flagged for this virus. Wise question. Some persons on this forum were calling people like us, who were of the opinion that writing names of people from red zones and allowing them to enter the country was a mediocre approach, all sorts of terrible names. Davash222: "The terrorists specifically targeted a truck loaded with soldiers with RPGs and incinerated the vehicle, killing all on board,” a second officer said." No matter how you look at this, it's a bad tactics from the millitary. It sounds absurd. 70 soldiers died without putting up a fight? 70 highly trained mercenaries could overrun Bokoharam stronghold. I was watching a video on YouTube the other day, our soldiers jumped into an abandoned truck left by Bokoharam and started shooting in the air and shouting. I asked myself, if this vehicle was wired with explosives, this would have been how these fellows would have been roasted like turkey. No forward team, no scout, nothing. Loaded 70 men into a truck in a war turn zone. Imagine if they had landed on a landmine? |
