I think it's height of irresponsibility from HRs not to get back to applicants. Especially if the recruitment has passed the first stage.
It's one of the ways to know a standard firm that cares about staff welfare.
It may be painful, but closure helps you to move on. |

Olominira: These people are extremely sick. It's time the likes of superpowers like Russia, China, UK and every nation that has the capacity to start working for who they feel will work in their interests. US has been doing this to several nations around the globe for many years either by force or by fire. It's time for them to feel how others feel when they manipulate their leadership choice. People just come online and say nonsense. Do you know the amount of stability US has brought to the world? Do you know the sacrifices they have made. Do you know the number of their own that died in process. If not for such mighty hand, do you think you will have freedom to post online without obtaining permit from one foolish person somewhere? Have you imagine how Africa would have been in terms of tyranny without countries like US and co? Have you stopped to wonder how things would have been if one of the Arab countries was a world power? They are not angels. But just be grateful that you have them around. Or do you think people like Buhari and co would listened to any useless law? You would seen real tyranny in action. |

LASSA has killed more people in Nigeria than most "deadlier" diseases we have been paying attention to. It's a good thing the state government is doing.
On the flip side, Lagos is way below its worth. The level of development in that state is far lower than what comes into her. You can hardly see any street in Lagos without potholes-most are not even tared. There are statees with lesser resources that are doing much better than Lagos in Percentage term. No road, no rail, no water, street lights are all dead, no 4th mainland bridge. What is the use? |

There are high demand for such Skill here including other European countries.......and the average pay is $120,000 per annum.
Mind you, you don't need to be Computer Scientist, you only need to study on YouTube (subscribe to some channels), try some examples and solve some real case study problems. Then you're good to go And I am here with my data analysis skill struggling to get a job with it. |

Op let me ask you a question. If you grew to know that your a particular person is always at your dad's Beck and call.
This person CANNOT do anything without your dad. Your dad fix his road, makes his clothes. In short, your dad makes over 90% of what he uses. Going to a school that your dad established will be one of his greatest achievement in life. His family is dying of hunger, war, diseases. This person cannot manage anything on his own. His survival literally depends on your dad.
When you grow, the children of that person are also doing the same things their dad did. They were subservient to you. Depending on you. This continues for generations. In fact, it is now like an established law. "that person and his generations cannot be anything on their own".
Will you ever accept the idea that this person is equal to you?
Dignity is best achieved by result. Something every black nation of the world is yet to do. |

OgunLaakaye: This is a patriot saying it as it is.
I know this observations will be bad news to some lots who have used previous threads to lambast The Federal Republic of Nigeria and the administration of His Excellence President Mohammadu Buhari (GCFR)
Some people who have never even seen the painting of an Airport, how much more been to an airport or step foot on a different continent had the audacity and effrontery to lambast the FGN. They be judging Nigeria from what the watch in Hollywood movies.
Once again, Kudos to the patriot. For a starter, I personally felt fed did not do enough in preventing the first case. It's not a crime if NIgeria successfully repel any case of ConViD-19. Secondly, those countries' health systems are light years ahead of ours. It makes sense for people to be apprehensive against a very leathal virus: of which an outbreak could lead to massive lost of lives (considering our level of technology). Once again I am not impressed with the idea of allowing people from ConViD-19 infested countries to enter NIgeria by merely filling forms. |

Our politicians have outlived their usefulness. No serious country can behave the way NIgeria is behaving and excel.
We do not learn from anything. Repeat the same mistakes. A foreigner brought HIV to to this country. She came in from a country with known cases of the disease. Similar thing happened again when Patrick Sawyer brought in the leathal virus called Ebola. Now a man brought in CoViD-19.
If you are still wondering why NIgeria keeps moving in cycle, that is your answer. Ineptitude and stupidity. |
