Health / Re: I Have Sold Everything Including My Wedding Ring Just To Stay Alive. by Pque(m): 11:19pm On Feb 27, 2016
Schwartz:
The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be sick and as you're fighting the illness and hoping you get better, then at the same time you are also thinking of where to source for funds to settle your medical bills. It is this worst kind of challenge any body who falls sick can experience. Sometimes you can't even go to the hospital on time when the sickness starts to show up. Because you don't have the money to foot your bills. The government should wake up and do as other western countries are doing. Nigeria needs urgent health insurance policy. Its not reasonable to pay Cash for treatments. With insurance you have little worries about your medical bills. That's how its done over here. Here I pay my monthly premium to my insurance company. That's my only duty. When I am sick, without fear, I go to the hospital, Insurance pays the bills, I only pay 10€ per day for the number of days I remain in the hospital. Now that's nothing compared to the thousands of euros I would have had to pay the hospital if I didn't have insurance.
If Lola had insurance she wouldn't have been sick and looking for money for transplant. Her insurance would have easily covered all or most part of the bills. This is beyond painful to me that in 2016 Nigerians still need to seek for money whenever they fall ill. This is beyond painful. I weep for Nigeria. I weep for every Lola in Nigeria going through this cry cry cry
When will my country get better? When?

may d Almighty God bless u for this but unfortunately, our senators only cares about mere possessions they want to lavish nd nt d invaluable human life to them. Lola's is only an example of numerous others in same shoe with her. So pathetic that a single senator can bear her bill times 100.

You can imagine the rate at with conji be killing some guys! to say i'm disappointed is an understatement. I'v been friends with this guy for some months,he's been on my case and has agreed to give me all the time I need before we start dating.

I was on my own last night when he invited me to go take sharwarma somewhere around.
We were just gisting normally about life and next thing he said was he's getting really bored and there's a new place on the island he would like to take me to.

We got there, I noticed the bouncers were really fierce looking! I got scared and asked him why they had 6 hefty bouncers,he just laughed and said it's cos the place is new. He quickly paid for VIP and when they opened the door first thing I saw was a fair beautiful girl stark naked dancing holding a pole. There were about 10ladies or more completely naked, with guys having fun with them!

I didn't bother to proceed to the VIP, I left in annoyance, boarded a cab and deleted his number sharply.

A guy who takes a lady to a strip club to watch other naked ladies and probably partake in frolicking with them can never be serious in a relationship! Quote me anywhere.

so much luv u. U are one of d few Nigerian ladies using their head.

His act of double crossing d APC at d begining of this administration nd selfishly appointing himself as d senate president against d proposition of his party said it all. Assuming he has a good intention for Nigeria with d way he is, better but never because his intentions are damn bad: To enrich his pockets nd make himself a super Lord over ordinary Nigerian. He is majorly all about himself nd his power. Hw do u expect me to support such a man nd any other person like him? What you perceive as demons in the girl is nothing but mental illness. There's nothing short of proper medical care for her. Neuroscience has explained a lot about dreams, consciousness and reflexes. There's no lasting hope for the mental patient except medical care.

I don't know why we put so much emphasis on churches and their healings when God has already given us medical science. We believe in the prophecies of a T.B Joshua predicting a plane crash but we've never celebrated great scientists like James Maxwell whose electromagnetic revolution gave us the internet. It's pathetic.

T.B Joshua is a prophet who does his things his own way. Other scientist also do their things their own way. These are two different fields but may end up producing d same thing. There are instances where science says 2+2= 4 nd ocassionally d answers end in 5 and science can't even explain why it is 5. Two people have so far been documented to get cure from rabies and science up till today can't explain how it happened. The fact that science has nt discovered a cure for AIDS or rabies does nt mean that a cure does nt actually exist bt simply nt yet discovered. Most importantly, most people turn to d spiritual simply because science no longer gave them a chance or oppourtunity. When science says death is imminent, people will choose d mystery that says there is an option of life. Science believe in her facts nd nt in faith bt some people has chosen faith (mystery) inspite of d fact or even combines d two which I do not think is bad. I, personaly believe in Science nd Mysteries but I know there are fake or make up mysteries and when there is a conflict btw science nd mystery, I choose mystery. The Bible and true men of God are a guide to d kinds of mystery I believe.

most of d comments I read here tonight does nt change d price of garri, as in it add nothing to d position or structural design of life nd how life works. Whether u believe or nt, life remains what it is, nothing changes. The goods of life are 4 those that believe, so, if u believe, u will see d glory of God, nd if u don't, then otherwise.

Can u just pause 4 a moment nd think abt d origin of life, life's design, d beauty of nature. D people in d world, diferent colours, diferent understanding, diferent wisdom, ideas, beliefs nd power. Then d deserts, d forests, d waters, diverse animals in water, on land nd in d air, d hills nd valleys, stones nd rocks and u say everything is simply by d power or setting of 'nature'. Who is 'nature'?, what is 'nature'? When did 'nature' began? How did 'nature' started? Despite all dis natural settings, here comes d unexplainable mysteries, mysterious death, mysterious madness, mysterious animals nd death, natural disasters, mysteries nd myths of land marks in life. Science can never unveil everything, d truth is that there are some powers somewhere doing some things unexplainable. Science has given some of it names but b4 science gave them names, they have been in existence, who made them? Neurons, cells, and what have you.

All I'am saying is that science does her own things nd d varies spiritualist does their own things. I believe both are same but with different ways nd methods. One is teacheable nd explainable bt d other is mysterious. Some people has chosen to believe in d mysteries nd it is also working 4 them just like science. D fact remains that Africans has bastardised d mysteries nd using it 4 personal selfish interest nd enslavement of others while d westerners are using theirs 4 d progress of all.

Those who love the girl should take her to a proper mental hospital. Churches don't heal mental illness even though they cause it.

if what we are seeing is real and nt fake, it is nt d gal talking but d demon in her. That is why d bible says wrestle nt against flesh nd blood bt against principalities nd power. D same demon can get out of her nd pick another servant through whom she works. Jesus also cast out legions of demons from a man, so it is possible for anyone to do same if he believes in d power that be.

Romance / Re: To The Nigerian Men Craving Virgin Wives by Pque(m): 10:07pm On Jan 07, 2016
Carnations:
This virginity thing. It seems a big issue for you. And it’s generating awkward contradictions in you. It’s the hidden reason you’re struggling with your emotions. You’re conflicted inside because you know you have no standing.

Okay, here’s the thing: In life, you must learn to use appropriate yardstick to judge and determine issues. You don’t use a ruler for example to measure the purity of water. That’s an inappropriate instrument though a measurement. Neither do you use a stethoscope to measure the pressure of a tyre. It’s a wrong pressure gauge. In the same manner, you can’t use dutifulness in church as parameter to determine the suitability of a conjugal prospect. It can serve as corroborative factor or even corroborant, but it cannot be the primary basis of consideration. A good church worker is not necessarily going to be a good wife, though the word “good” is common. Two separate issues. I mean, that she can sing down the heavens doesn’t mean she will make you a good wife. Vocal dexterity is not qualification for coupling. Choir is not a marriage context. If you base your marriage decision on her ability to sing, you’re clearly using a wrong means of measurement. A singing voice for example cannot help you determine if she’s clean or a relative of Unhygienix of Asterix fame. That’s how people arrive at wrong marital decisions. They use wrong parameters. And such a mistake can prove very costly to a man in particular.

Now let’s come to your issue. You want to marry a virgin. But there’s an inherent contradiction in your quest. You can’t test her virginity unless you sleep with her, in which case she’ll no longer be and you won’t marry a virgin. The truth is, all you have is her word. It’s what she says she is that she is at this stage of your relationship. You can’t even verify her word without compromising your faith. Now, here’s the irony of your quest for a virgin wife: You’re not a virgin yourself. At some point before you embraced your faith you engaged in sexual congresses. In other words, you have a past. In the same vein, she also has a past. But you’re willing to embrace your past but not hers.

As per your wife you want to be the man who “hit it first”, but tell me, the women you hit first who’ll marry those? In essence you can’t take what you dished out. The idea of someone being there before you consternates you. You can’t handle it, ironically. The reason she’s not giving you the confirmation you want on her virgin status is probably because she’s not. She likes you, wants you, but you’ve put impediment on progress: demanded for something she can’t amend retroactively. And so she can’t lie about her past, and she can’t tell you the truth either. Stalemate. You somehow think that her non-virginal status is indicative of a colourful and flavourful past. Perhaps. Same applies to you I guess. But you’ve not told me who she really is, just her sexual history. You didn’t indicate if she’s a loving and kindhearted woman. Whether or not she’s caring. You’ve not told me whether she’s trustworthy, whether she’s someone you can entrust your life to. And it’s not as if you’re accusing her of promiscuity. So the broken hymen just indicates she’s had sex in the past.

What I’m trying to say is, virginity is really not a test of whether someone will make you a good wife. You’re using a ruler to measure tyre pressure. Now if virginity is a psychological barrier for you, I’d say don’t go into marriage with her. You’ll keep judging her in the present because you can’t deal with her past. I’ll advice you keep your imagination in check. Stop imagining someone in the past on top of her. It’s unhelpful. But you have to reconcile yourself to the possibility you may not marry a virgin. Being real! Learn to be real in life. Your generation is very experimental with sex, and sexual imagery is so pervasive. Your music videos are highly suggestive. Think Anaconda. You’re being conditioned to accept raw sexuality. That conditioning generates results. Makes kids want to experiment with sex.

Be careful that your quest for virginity doesn’t make you miss a very wonderful and loving woman. Perhaps the first thing you ought to consider is what you want in a wife, what should you want in a wife. If this woman meets your criteria of a good wife to you I’d say go for her. You don’t want to regret not marrying her. If you marry an alternate, note that the virginity qualification will end on your wedding night. Then the marriage begins. You don’t want a wife who qualifies for only the wedding night do you? What happens in the days and years ahead? The faith you avow is very much anchored on Paul’s immortal words: If any man (or woman) be in Christ, he or she is a new creature. Old things have passed away. All things have become new. It’s either you’re going to accept God’s word concerning this lady or not. The decision is yours.

If you don’t however, that will be most unfortunate. I’m sure you’ve read about Pharisees. They were fond of using differing standards- one for themselves, another for others. Jesus had a running battle with those guys. You’re not a Pharisee are you? You can’t judge this lady by one set of standards and use another for yourself. It’s pharisaic.

all these sermon simply because u want to make one yeye point. Your post sugest u are nt a virgin nd u are making issues out of wat d guys concerned doesn't even give much attention. How many guys today will simply marry a gal simply because she is a virgin without considering other matters of high importance especially love.

I mean hw many men will simply use virginity as d only test 4 marraige success? Note that those who even consider virginity do it along other points of consideration, as in viginity is just one wish among other wishes on d scale of preferrence. E.g. My future wife must b a virgin, believe god, gd xter, kind, caring, a nurse, light in complexion, good cook, tall etc. Each person hav a right to what ever he wants in life, so if virginity is one of d 40 xteristics I desire in a woman, how is it ur cup of tea.

Mind u, most of those pple who like ur post are gals that have been fired nd receive asalamalakun, as in kondo olomi numerious times.
