So devil now is a man. Besides if everyone who sins is under the power of the devil, then under whose power was the devil under? If none, then it makes no sense of God to let us under the power of any when we sin.

3. Why did Jesus come to the earth? And from who did Jesus rescue the world?

If Jesus has rescued the earth why does evil still persist? Simple. He never really rescued the earth.

4. Anyone who continues to sin is of the devil for the devil has sinned from the beginning. How did you come to your conclusion. Have you questioned him before? If God could turn His face from Jesus when Jesus was on the cross, do you imagine what God will do to one who still commits sins? According to what we see, a sinner might be living well but God does not see such a person the same way. The law of nature is still at work- if you work hard, you will make money, if you give to people, you will receive from people, etc, this happens whether one is a believer or not. But, God will judge everyone according to his/her works.

That has always been the trick, postponing the day of reward to the future that never comes.

5. Refer to Job and you will get your answer. If the Spirit could lead Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil, we are no exceptions. As Jesus used God's word to win the devil, so are we to use God's word to win.

The passover was not a day event it was a weeklong(and each week has its own sabbath) event see Exodus 12:14-17 Leviticus 23:5-7

The two ran concurrently and the blanket word 'passover' must have been because the activities in the latter was a part of the former.

Whether it's for seven days, here's how the Passover goes:

The lamb is to be slaughtered in the evening of Nisan 14, and eaten in the night, before Nisan 15 (the next day)

In Luke 22 Jesus ordered his disciples to prepare the passover and ate with them, which would definitely be Nisan 14. That same night Jesus was arrested, but not cruxified. It was until the next day, Nisan 15, that he was cruxified Luke 22:66

In John 18:28, "28 Then the Jewish leaders took Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman governor. By now it was early morning, and to avoid ceremonial uncleanness they did not enter the palace,because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover.", it was the day the Passover was about to be eaten. But before that morning, John 18:3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons., Jesus had been arrested the night prior to the morning. And in John 19:14 It was the day of Preparation of the Passover; it was about noon [Close to evening, when the Passover was to be eaten] Jesus was cruxified (not arrested in Luke's account) - contradiction.

Jesus appeared to His disciples more than once after resurrection. Sometimes not all of them but only a few were present when He appeared.
Acts 1:3 shows that He was with them for forty days before Ascension.

3 To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God.

The deal between Jesus and his disciples was for them to meet in Galilee. That happened in Matthew:

“Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. When they saw him, they worshipped him; but some doubted.” [Matthew 28:16-17, NRSV]

But it was at a different location in Luke

“That same hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem; and they found the eleven and their companions gathered together. They were saying, ‘The Lord has risen indeed, and he has appeared to Simon!’ …While they were talking about this, Jesus himself stood among themand said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ They were startled and terrified, and thought that they were seeing a ghost.’ [Lk 24:33-34, 36-37, NRSV]

Now this isn't the question about the number of times Jesus appeared to his disciples, but the location at which he appeared to them in accordance to his words in Matt 28:9-10

It was on the Mount. The verse you are referring to in Luke, as regards the sermon on the mount, was commenced on another paragraph. Mark clarifies that after the disciples were chosen they all... Mark 3:19
19 and Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

You've made no point here. Both sermons have parallels, but at different location. Commencing on another paragraph has nothing to do with the information being passed.

I'm particularly interested in the timeline of Jesus's birth. Was it during the days of Herod, or while Quinirius was governor over Syria? in Matthew and Luke respective.
