Your proposed study in canada is not consistent with work experience and previous study..VO thinks that you are not a genuine student..

You see, I don’t know why people especially Nigerians are scared of applying for a diploma program because someone somewhere said you will be going for a lower degree meanwhile here in Canada other countries especially India don’t joke with 2 years diploma program, in my department, all the Indians there are all BSC holders including myself. The non BSC holders are the Canadian citizens. I’m not advising you to leave your masters for a diploma oooo…..it hurt me to see few Nigerians in colleges and bundle of them in the university spending huge money on fees. Meanwhile the goal is to get a permanent residence
4 years university— 3 years post graduate work permit
2 years college ——3 years post graduate work permit.

Meanwhile after your college nd getting a permanent residence, you can go back to the university if you want to and you pay less.

Look India economy is far better than Nigeria economy...see below

Can you see the different in terms of exchange rate..

VO will also weigh job prospects in home country vs program of study to make a decision..so the question is what can or will someone do with a diploma since the person already have bsc is same program of study or when your previous study is different from your area of current employment and diploma is below degree level..with limited employment prospects in home country

You won't find this funny...The main reason of visa refusal or approval is all centered on economic prospects of a country..


In summary blame Nigeria politicians for damaging Nigeria economy which brought about visa application or high rate of visa applications to other countries including refusals

Purpose of visit refusal only indicates that you are not a genuine student the reason of visit was not established including explanation of choice of program de benefits,why do you want to study the program in canada rather than home country and economic prospects after graduation...what will it add to your current or future business

Lump sum may have been addressed but I think you did not support it with updated bank
Statement of 4months to show the money is still available with the required funds...without new bank statement the VO will rush the refusal!!

Not refused on tie to country of origin, appears like there is a positive factor to the business you owned

Before your gcms notes arrives you need to work on your choice of program to counter purpose of visit,cos your SOP is not sufficient

You can explain the lump sum but still The minimum required funds was just not available for past 4months on bank statement or from opening balance on bank statement

In that case file, the judge and the Respondent claimed if the Appellant had shown $136,000 or so and was able to prove that the sponsor had no responsibility over anyone else, the Appellant would have won the case.

Also, with the $46,000 or so that the Appellant showed, IRCC could have shown "mercy" if he had successfully convinced the VO that the fund would be available and more funds would be provided as time goes on and the sponsor had no responsibility over siblings.

The Respondent claimed the onus was on the Appellant to prove the stated points which he failed to do.

Sorry for my wording which I term "mercy". I actually meant that IRCC could have used their discretion to justify that more monies would be available maybe due to the sponsor job or ability to generate more fund.

I was looking at reasons of refusal by VO ..the applicant will not have sufficient funds like i said ..even if it is 30billion Usd in bank balance! based on career path: given education and employment history...there was no reasons to pursue the program! Application will still be refused based on insufficient funds!
Applicant would have argued that the reasons of insufficient funds was merely based on the above however he has no evidence why employment history and education did not relate to choice of program! And why he would like to pursue the program!...

You mean old passport number written on new passport after renewal...it is not applicable on e-passport

Please do I raise different webforms for the 3 of us and upload the e medical form for each person OR I should combine all the eforms into a single pdf and raise just a web form for me the primary applicant and attached the merged medical form for all of us.

Raise different webforms with each person details, you and spouse if applied will write a short letter to request to update medical exam,you will also do that on behalf of minor... quote the UCI and application number in the letter, and that e medical info sheet is enclosed...merge the letter respectively with the e medical information sheet,

VO claimed that you are a bona fide student but that is not enough to issue visa....

The prove of relationship to sponsor is weak,you did not satisfy the relationship with the third party sponsor...
And the VO wants at least a prove of financial commitment from the sponsor to show future financial support!

Ties to home country;The VO is querying your personal financial documents..
That you have no incentive to return to home country after study...
What it means;Do you have a job to return to after study!
And is the financial or necessary employment documents submitted...but not only just bank statement submitted..

Only Use Nairobi email these days because any email sent to other responsible office will be directed to Nairobi Kenya

If you want other processing office use canada they will direct your webform { documents } to Nairobi..

Note that The date of the business registration on the certificate of registration of business name matters..it may negatively effect your approval if quick to submit application with CAC certificate .. if the CAC certificate is considered, the VO may weigh the date of registration against the date applications is submitted if it is short ..it can be assumed that you are not sufficiently well established in the county of origin. ..since business is registered few months back...
While POf is 4 months Bank statement..
You can't use your business account to fund study visa even if the money is your own...it can be an evidence of your business ongoing....
Personal account is better in this case..

you can not renew SOWP even after student apply for PGWP...spouse on open work permit may be eligible for another type of work permit!

Your business name may be on CAC portal..however if a registered business have not filled for annual returns to CAC for upto 10years the registered business will be delisted from CAC portal....and as registered business

That is if the VO job is to reply to mails @ webform..the agents responsible to.. don’t even have more access to applicants case files...they may only pass information...where needed!

Taking the applicants plan of studies into account, the documentation provided in support of the applicant financial situation does not demonstrate that funds would be sufficient or available. I am not satisfied that the proposed studies would be reasonable expense.

The source of funds is poorly documented and there is no evidence provided showing how financial sponsor/PA came to accumulate savings. Taking the applicants purpose of visit into account, the applicants does not appear to be sufficiently well established that the proposed visit would be a reasonable expense. The applicant has not satisfied me that they have sufficient economic stability, which may affect their departure from CDA, I am not satisfied that the PA has sufficient funds to support themselves (tuition, living expenses, transportation etc) given the proposed length of stay without working in CDA.

Based on the documents provided by the PA/Sponsor, I am not satisfied that the PA will have a sufficient inflow of funds for studies or a reasonable source of income to support the proof of funds that was provided

I am not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada at the end of their stay as a temporary resident, I note that:

The client is single, mobile is not well established and has no dependents

Weighing the factors in this application. I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay

For this reasons above, I have refused this application

The program you want to study in Canada is not related to your current employment this also damaged your employment/economic situation in home country..and/or
There is no indication or benefits of the program to study and job prospects after completion why this program would be a reasonable expenses was not satisfied..

Your employment situation in home country did not satisfied VO that you will leave CDA:canada at the end of your visit as VO claimed not stable..

The VO stated that you are single and not married this is not an issue...the issue is that you have no strong economic ties to home country to satisfy the VO..
That is stable employment and income or family that depends on you for support that can create incentives to return to home country ..the family ties in your country of origin did not satisfy the VO


I think you used funds parking in the application..in that the money was just sitting at the bank without reasonable inflow of cash from the account and some expenses..now it questions the sources of the funds...how about the money is it from business or paid employment you did not provide documents to back it up..
That the money will not be sufficient and available for funding the program...

As in salary pay is the only income that appears on the statement and it indicates ; source/purpose/payment month ..
Example (IPPIS Salary June 2022) in the past 4 or 6 months @ certain amount which may call attention!!!
But claimed you have business venture to compensate for study gap which is also tie to country of origin ..if the above is the case...
