yh i saw that too..i actually read computer science..soo no way?..i saw they also support STEM?..
I will advise not to put the loan on your mind. Please use that as last resort. Try to ace the GRE and TOEFL. You might get a full ride for the degree. If you are interested in the PhD, apply directly for doctorate degree in Computer science

Computer science is covered also. Most schools house the course in the College of engineering. You are good to go

bro i checked dem both and the schools they actually support are kinda many..does that mean if i secure admission into any of their supported school i’d be sure to get the financing?
Yes you will... They only support engineering, Law, Medicine and MBA for Masters degree with up to 80% of the total cost of attendance. Your whole profile will determine the rate of interest

Prod1gy finance.

I think mpOWer does it too.

You need to have been admitted to and attending a 'top' school. Even though some people for top school GPA na 2.0. undecided
Lol... You think Top schools will accept a student without 3.2 and above? Or you think they will accept students with 3.0 without concrete work experience related to their major... I don't know about Mpower but prodigy Finance only supports schools that have stringent admission and retention policy... 2.0 keh

You'll need to be more detailed concerning the loan part.

How much are you borrowing?
What's the cost of your school fees and living expenses?
If you have enough to cover your entire cost, no need to fear anything.

Nigerians toooo fear to borrow money, I just collected half of the $12k, I deh even find more to borrow. cheesy
School fee is 15k in a year but I found one scholarship which will offer instate tuition. Although I have applied for that but no offer yet. Living expenses is 16k in a year according to I-20

I got a loan of 16k for first year and 35k in reserve for second year with 10.65 APR... Course is Electrical Engineering at top 3 university in Florida. Na true say Nigerians day fear Loan oooo because ever since I got approved for that loan, I don carry calculator+Google even with Almighty Formula. I never borrow 20k naira for my life.

Although I have decided I will be attending already. The school is ranked 11th in the world for US patent so they have a strong alumni and job prospect...

I know people don't read or listen well before replies are given most ESO African men.
However with d amount of people been asked to pay for uploading and filling form. I want to say that Us are giving those men outside d chance to extol people. They are scam as well.
Justwise...kindly read what I type before u comment.
I will advise you listen to any advice given. They are going to do for you, what you can do yourself for an exorbitant fee. Uploading and filling form is not suppose to cost you the 5k that you paid but its fine if you can achieve your aim with that amount. You are not suppose to call anyone a scam since you negotiated with them before paying and they rendered the service you asked for so that's not a scam. Scam is when you paid, no service rendered and not when prices are inflated.

If you still need any help, you can navigate to any of the US thread. Visit or Student. Goodluck to You

Thanks so much, another question please,I can see it’s stated to send waec final result along with my transcript, problem is I did two sittings because chemistry was cancelled In my first waec result,
•will I have to send the two or I just send the first one only which is without chemistry result?
•Secondly can I send together with my transcript?
•Lastly like how much can it cost to send with fedex to Wes,or is UPS/DHL preferable? Thanks bro
For WAEC, I can't say anything about that because I had evaluated before the new policy, I only evaluated my degree... You can visit UPS or DHL website to see their cost for international delivery.

So I was at the embassy to apply for d Us visa while o had to leave my new found Taxify job...
I try to upload but I could not even get the website.
Uploading my infor. U have to pay ad pay to upload the passport

The embassy won't give u the right websites to do all that. Instead it would leave the crazy hungryen outside of their office to collect money for everything. Imagine paying 5k to upload pictures. I would share more details here.

How can they leave those men outside of their embassy to make money
You didn't care to make enquiries before embarking on the embassy journey. Have you forgotten you are still in Nigeria where everyone wants to take advantage of whatever you are ignorance of. Embassy cannot stop anyone from that since its not their country... Nairaland is here to help you with any of your enquiries

Go to SA.

University of Capetown (Top 200 in the world)
Stellenbosch University (Top 400)

They don't need any entrance examination nor letter of recommendation. Tuition fee is less than 500k in a year and scholarship available for Masters student
Travel › Re: Help On Hustling Abroad Or Completing A House by Predstan: 5:17pm On Oct 08, 2018
If you have a BSc. I will advise you try Germany(Free tuition). If its possible, your husband can go there first because you need to take care of your kids. He only needs to write TOEFl and Uniassist to apply for masters but the real problem is the block account which requires a huge sum of money(4Million).

Otherwise you can research Canada PR and start little with what you have. For Canada PR. You and your husband needs to sit for IELTS and you need a very good score in it. If you pray towards that and put in all effort to research very well, you might end up relocating to Canada with kids and Husband.

Another Option is Australia PR... You really need a lot of research and to consider the fact that you are 30 already your husband must be older.

You can also consider SA... South Africa seems to be very nice for relocation

PS: Its not going to be very easy but at the long run, you will not regret going out of the country even if its Vietnam

I think funding opportunities are hard for spring aspirants.
I am also processing my admission to New Haven for fall 2019, I was asked during the process if I will like to be considered for both provost assistantship and Dean scholarships which I ticked yes....... So I don't know if that was the case for you spring applicants.

There was a lady on this thread whose admission package came with Automatic Dean scholarship for Fall 2018, but she secured RA position later sha with 2.7 Gpa and GRE 295.

And again the Fundings are for early bird, I think the 1st priority deadline for the fundings are December/January and 2nd priority is March. The school is nice sha, they waived $50 application fee for me.
This to encourage others to apply sha
Well, the highest amount of Scholarship university of new haven will give you is a TA that comes with 75% tuition waiver. I got admitted for Spring and their consideration for funding is held separately from Admission. I have rejected the admit because I was required to do two prerequisites which I have to pay full credit fee for. The school being a private school is expensive for small aspirant Big God like us.
